Loved the unique take on Mediterranean favorites. Great dinner. Very good value.
Amazing experience! We’ve eaten just about everywhere in Charleston and now we have a new entry into our top three favorites. The food is outstanding!
Immediately upon walking we loved the atmosphere of the place. I will say the noise level is high, but not in a way that ruined anything. It's just worth mentioning in case you were looking for a quiet evening. Once seated service was amazing beginning to end. Our cocktails were fantastic, and the waiter had great insight into the menu and answers for all of our questions. The food... oh man the food. Everything was absolutely amazing. The blending of flavors and presentation as well as the portions exceeded our expectations by far. We were blown away by how much food we actually got for the prices. This will absolutely be worth every cent you spend on it and then some! If you're looking to go out and have excellent drinks/food, then this is a place worth considering!
The bacon wrapped dates were like candy, the bread and whipped feta was delicious. For entrees we had the duck and kebabs, they were decent. The small plates are definitely the stars here.
Food and service were great.Only negative moment was when the manager? (not our waitress and he did not have a apron on)serving me one of the dishes we had ordered did so with a toothpick hanging out the side of his mouth.Kind of gross and not appropriate for when u are serving at a upscale dining restaurant - something one should do at home.
The food was great the portions were big we ended up with more food than we could eat. The service was outstanding, prompt and attentive. The restaurant was loud, you had to talk loudly to hear the person across the table
Butcher and Bee is always a treat- creative and filling dished highlight the experience, augmented by excellent service and a hip vibe.
Good food and accommodating
Well done, all around. Exceptional food and service!
We loved our dinner. Delicious and different seasonings.
Nice middle eastern influence. Steak was fantastic!
My party of 4 enjoyed an abundance of vegan and vegetarian sides and dishes! The cauliflower entree was amazing! We also especially loved the butternut squash and brussel sprouts.
Thanks for offering so many plant-based options! We will be back and often!
Had good experience, enjoyed food and atmosphere!
Awesome! Great food and great service!
Delicious food and great staff! Dat honey bun doe....😍
We love the location, the decor, but it’s the variety of fresh foods that we love the most! One of your favorite places!
Food arrived cold. Took one bite. Waiter said I’d receive anew meal but same food came back with missing bite. Overheated in microwave and dried out and poor quality. Item was removed from bill but no offer for new choice to replace. I’ve eaten there about 8 times and the quality of food and service was nothing like previous times. This was poor.
Everyone went above and beyond for my wifes birthday. The manager checked on us often. We were a fairly loud group, I apologize for that and they never mentioned it to us. They were gracious enough to provide candles for our cake and even sent out food specially catered to her diet. Thank you!
Tasty, flavorful, innovative food. Gracious, efficient, friendly staff. Owner/ Manager circulates, inquires if satisfied with food & service. Brought friends who were all equally pleased.
My friend and I are visiting Charleston for the first time from Seattle. Food was amazing!
We absolutely loved Butcher & Bee. Incredibly designed restaurant to great tasting food and wonderful service.
Brunch with kids, ages 11-17 - enjoyed the ambiance, very friendly staff - thanks Bailey )
Interesting fare; whipped feta -honey - black pepper with the best pita I’ve ever had. Incredibly delicious flavor combinations and savory libations. The brisket was absolutely melt in your mouth yumtastic as were the bacon and French toast. Definitely recommend. We will be returning for happy hour & dinner. Go get your “grub on” at the Butcher & Bee.
The ambiance is extremely warm and inviting; lights leading up to a huge patio straight to the front door. The inside lighting matches the light brown of wood to bring about a modern cabin environment. Customer service was on point and very accommodating. Not only was the Restaurant Week deal the most affordable but the food was superb! Portion sizes were enough to finish the meal without having to taking any home. I love being able to see the chefs in action through the bar side sitting. The tables are well spread out, enough for servers to get around. I look forward to trying the seasonal menus in the future!
Great ambiance. very helpful and friendly staff. Food is awesome menu easy-to-follow overall great experience
Lunch sandwiches were delicious! A surprise birthday dessert was much appreciated
We really enjoy eating here and its usually a great meal. However, tonight the food was not great. Our burgers sat ready on the expo counter for a about 10-15 minutes before it joined the rest of our order when it was served. Also saw a cook with his gloves on at a prep station eating. Once again we have had many great meals here but tonight was pretty bad.
Overall I was very satisfied with my experience at Butcher and Bee. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the green juice drink which many restaurants don't offer. The portion size of the omelet was smaller than I would have liked but it was delicious.
We had an excellent server who gave us really good recommendations! Highly recommend the kabobs, we loved them! If we're ever in Charleston again we will return to B&B!
The service was impeccable, staff and manager all very friendly and helpful! (Being new to opentable I was unsure of how my giftcard worked and they were patient and helpful figuring it out!) Food was OUTSTANDING! Unique dishes crafted with local ingredients.
We went here on New Years Eve to have a special meal and were not disappointed. We ended up doing almost all of the small plates and then one of the "medium" plates. Service was fast, informative, and fun. There was enough of a (pardon the pun) buzz in the restaurant that voices needed to be raised a bit to have a conversation.
Delicious meal and wonderful service. Only suggestion would be to have a bit more space between 2 tops.
Great farm to table menu with an Israeli focus. Service was excellent! Y'all need to come to Greenville!
The food was phenomenal!! Plates were good size to share, feta spread was incredible along with the squash and beet with curry.
Love the open kitchen concept
Really amazing combinations of unusual spices and vegetables! For a food lover, who dimes out a lot, that is important! We crave unusual creations and combinations especially with the use of vegetables and other healthy options! I can cook almost anything at home but when I go out I need something unusual and worth going out for...this place delivers! ❤️ thank you! Wine per glass is a bit expensive, but food makes up for it!
We've always loved it here and enjoyed yet another great meal. Some soups would be a great addition?!
Not particularly impressed. Very limited menu. Food not prepared according to specifications (hamburgers requested medium rare were well done). Service was good. Doubtful we will return.
Waiter would refill one drink and not the other. Brought one straw and not two.
Seemed like he wanted us to move on before the last bite. Not a great place
to meet a friend and catch up.
Loved the vibe, the coffee! and the food
A little slow to get us seated even though we were a 2-top with a reservation
Will return most definitely
WEnt based on online reviews. Two couples visiting Charleston. Loved the ambiance and the food. Great night all around and fair value.
The food was ok. We had two different kinds of sandwiches for lunch. The roast beef was quite good but not so wonderful I would go back to have it again. The lamb did not taste of lamb at all. The yogurt dip was the best part of the meal.
Butcher and Bee was probably the best dinner we had in Charleston. Creative, delicious, and shareable (which we love). Everything was great, but the cauliflower small plate and mushroom pasta were particularly tasty.
The restaurant itself is lovely, and the only downside was our rather surly waiter who didn’t even bother to wipe the table until asked.
