Requested my favorite waiter Enzo. They were not able to accommodate. We sat upstairs with the most obnoxious server on the planet. Asked for bread twice. Food wasn't hot. Server mouthed off to me when I requested he split an appetizer we were sharing. Never a problem with Enzo. Usually a great place but sucks on a Sat. night. They need to manage their reservations better.

As checked off above, in all aspects the experience was at best fair. Very noisy, food just OK, server was falsely helpful (disingenuous). The hope had been to have a Valentine's day quiet and romantic experience but ... very loud and crowded.

Had a great BYOB meal on our way to Ocean City for the weekend. Our waiter was fantastic! He managed all tables with one assistant and was attentive to all. The food was excellent. The restaurant was small and quiet - easy to hear that everyone else enjoyed their meals as well.

We visited For Valentine's Day. The restaurant was busy and noisy. The tables were very close together. The food was excellent but there appeared to be only one waiter. We will try again on a regular night.

Valentines Day dinner. Server Chris was friendly and attentive but allowed us privacy. Dinner was leisurely and no rush to be done. One of my favorite places to dine.

Excellent food! Place was a little too noisy and they definitely needed more help. Our poor waiter was running like crazy all night but did a good job. Overall great place to eat but I’ll stay away from Saturday nights.

been there many times, all favorable but the last two. On both occasions it took over 90 minutes from the time we placed our orders until we were served. Way too long. Coffee was served luke warm at the evening's end.
we have eaten at their restaurants in Philly & Strathmere w/o problems.

Always have a great meal at this restaurant. Grilled calamari is my go to appetizer. Professional, thoughtful service at this BYOB establishment.

This is our go to place at the shore. The food is always delicious, the service is friendly, the wait staff are good at their jobs and as a BYOB the cost of dinner is perfect. Great Italian food! We highly recommend this neighborhood gem!

Always excellent food and service in a nice setting and at a reasonable price.
Started with tasty bruschetta and calamari. We usually get grilled calamari but got the fried and it was perfect: fresh, perfectly breaded and fried, and tender.
We each got a veal dish. The veal Buona Vita is especially nice, with prosciutto and mozzarella in a brown sauce. The veal carciofi was also very good if you want something a little lighter, in a lemon white wine sauce with mushrooms and artichokes over angel hair pasta.

Their seafood and pasta are also reliably good.

We had a bad experience on New Years Eve, but decided to return because the food has always been excellent. Once again mid week dining was quiet, and the meal could not have been better. A great BYOB for friends to get together. One of the best calamari apps I have had. You can not beat their veal dishes. I hope this restaurant succeeds and is able to get past the slow winters. Locals should definitely try Buono Vito during the slow season. One of the best places around.

No tables available for our reservation. We waited then were sat only to be told there was a special menu. That was okay but no one came to our table to twenty minutes so we left. We left hungry and unable to have dinner on New Year's Eve.

The food was excellent, but the Experience was poor. I made reservations the end of November to be sure to have a good table. Upon our arrival we were told our table was upstairs. No problem, then we were told it was given to someone else. we were promised another table as soon as the diners left and cleaned up..we waited..mind you there is no place to wait in this restaurant. we ended up blocking the bathroom door. 20 more minutes, table had been cleaned and set for 6 people, we asked if we could be seated. We were told the table was reserved for a party of 6 due in soon. We were offered a table by the doorway entrance....no one wanted this table...it was 11 degrees outside. They told us they would take a table of 2 and breakup this table of 4 and join the two tables together, in front of the gas fire place. fireplace gave little heat and none when it went out! There was now an empty table of two separating us and the front door. We were given an antipasti platter; nice touch, but it was frozen.. frozen cheese? Our app, entree, and desert were excellent. When we asked for another glass of champagne since ours was served flat we were told there was none, and yet I did see other tables getting it. I ate with my coat on as every time the door opened I was freezing along with the rest of my party. There were only 2 waiters working this crowded room which is ridiculous on an over booked special occasion evening. A suggestion to the owners your need to place a screen of some sort to block the cold coming in to the diners if you continue to place tables in the entrance way. You also need to hire more waiters. You need a more mature person to handle reservations or at least someone who knows what is going on. Coffee was part of our pre-fixe meal and yet we were never offered. If the food were not excellent I would not return. In the future it would be to your benefit not to over book and to hire more help.

I considered Buona Vita a special restaurant for quiet intimate delicious meals as the food is very good and on the expensive side for this area. But, the food is always amazing so we choose to go here to avoid the crowds. However, Christmas Eve was not handled properly. They took large groups who were loud and boisterous in a small restaurant. They let kids run around and disturb other guests and the parents were not even paying attention. The waiter (all one of him) did not solve the problem even when asked.
The iced tea was a powder mix that they charged $2.50 per glass. It was not worth it, even if it was free! They even admitted that it was a powder mix and that was all they had other than water. It is a BYOB but we were not drinking and driving..
The food was good but we had to wait an extremely long time ... if you are going to open ... bring in the staff to handle the tables. Our experience was not one we wanted for Christmas Eve.

There are so many good Italian restaurants in our area. This is a good Italian restaurant not great. The ambiance could be improved with dimmer lighting and candles. It is very bright and loud in the small restaurant. My Caesar salad had wilted lettuce which was a turn off. I had a chicken dish with asparagus and a wine cheese sauce. It was rather bland.They brought out the wrong meal for my husband and the rest of the party was almost finished when he got his correct meal. They seem to have a good number of regular customers which says a lot for a restaurant, but I wasn't feeling it. I didn't hate my dining experience but I did not love it. For Italian, I would prefer to go to Café 2825 for fine Italian dining or A Touch of Italy for casual Italian dining.
