    We live here, June through mid September. I am only giving it four stars because we make reservations all the time and end up waiting 30 minutes for our table We do enjoy the , the service is good, But it would be awesome if they could get the reservations more accurate I am OK with waiting up to 15 minutes but anything more than that is just his management

    This was not our first visit. We live in Ocean City and dine in Somers Point regularly. We were seated at 7:45 with a 7:30 reservation on a Saturday night. Excellent in my opinion. Promptly greeted, wine opened, menus given within minutes of seating. Bora was our server. She was wonderful! The eggplant appetizer was HOT and delicious. Veal was fork tender, seafood risotto was loaded with calamari, clams, shrimp, and mussles. Both entrees arrived piping hot just like the appetizer. Service was great as was the food. No desserts. I usually don’t order deserts out because they are most often not made on the premesis. My only “criticisms” are the fee for paying with a credit/debit card, and a time limit on tables. The credit card fee has prevented us from eating here impromptu. Rather than go get cash we go to one of the other spots. I refuse to pay credit card fees. That’s just my personal “thing”. The time limit on tables is 1 hour and 45 minutes. That is a long time and doesn’t affect my wife and I. We’re usual out in an hour and ten to an hour and fifteen minutes. But if I had a large party of say six or eight, I probably wouldn’t book here for fear of the time limit. Oh, the other matter that bothers me is you have to make reservations through a reservation service with your credit card. If you don’t cancel within 24 hours of your reservation, they charge you $20 per person. We do love this place and will definitely go back, like I said, we’ve been here before numerous times.

    We always enjoy the food and service. It was very noisy but that’s to be expected during the season. If it’s warm enough outside is pleasant and not as noisy.

    Everything was excellent! The food was way better than expected, and the service was top-notch. For the food and the service the prices were very inexpensive.

    This is one of the best Italian BYOB’s in the Atlantic Cape May county area. Definitely better than the sone of the other famous establishments in the AC area. Food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The gnocchi is amazing, the calamari is so tender, you cannot go wrong here. Only knock on it is how loud it is when it busy. It’s a very old building so it is understandable, but being an old home is always what adds to the character inside along the bay in Somers Point.

    Buona Vita is and has been my favorite restaurant at the Jersey Shore! The food is incredible (especially the Bronzino) and the staff is so friendly and engaging. We go to the shore every June, and I make my reservation for this restaurant as soon as we arrive! The atmosphere is very nice and it’s a perfect place for special occasion dinner or just a night out! It’s also a BYOB, which is always nice! "

    The food was very mediocre and the service inattentive. We left our wine bag and when we called soon after we left the person who answered the phone was extremely rude. He refused to look at our table for it. We will obviously not be returning or recommending.
