I went with my wife and a colleague in town for work and we were very happy with the choice. The tapas were uniformly excellent, the service relaxed but attentive, and we thoroughly enjoyed our drinks from their well constructed list. A great place for an informal get together fuelled by really good food.

The flamenquinos (fried Thron pork rolled stuffed with ham and cheese) were outstanding. The paella was a bit burnt.

The service was very friendly but a bit slow as the staff was overworked.

Great dinner menu and excellent service. We were very hungry and the staff was very accommodating, recommending what appetizers to order so we could munch on something right away.

It was way too noisy! Food was great...had the pork on skewers, gazpacho soup, spicy shrimp, tuna tartare, and some good flatbread item that we didn't order.

Need to have some New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc on your wine list!

Inventive menu, good presentation. We sat at the kitchen counter the previous time and loved it. This time around, even though the waiter gushed about how the food is brought immediately upon being plated, it all arrived lukewarm. Plus, the waiter or the kitchen forgot one of our dishes. I hope the mediocre experience does not become commonplace.

From the minute we met the host to the last bite of dessert, this was a great experience. The food and drink shine and it is obvious from the presentation to the service they are proud of their product. I'm eager to return.

Everything was very good except the service. The restaurant was more than half empty but the service was extremely slow.
Between appetizer and main course a good 15+ minutes went by, and between the main course and dessert a good 20 minutes. This was a late lunch at a time when restaurant peak time was over. No excuse for the delays.

Typical example of good food and great brunch with aweful impossible-to-be-worse service. Slow, indifferent, simply would not go ever because of that.

The "Huevos Bulla" are a must, it is my favorite dish. The combination of Leonora/ Manchego cheese is always delicious. Don't miss the white sangria and the Lemongrass Collins, both are excellent! Stephanie, our server, was exceptional!

Have eaten here many times and usually love it. Tonight the kitchen was off its game. Food wasn't up to par, but love it and will definitely return for another shot!

Upon arrival at reservation time, we were asked to wait for about 20 minutes. Once seated, waiter rudely informed us that we need to place order asap as Kitchen as closing in ten minutes. Not great for a tapas place, where your meant to order as you go. Food was just okay, service not good at all. Never checked on us, we were never able to order a second round of beverages. And as we were ready to leave, a group of four was greeted and seated next to us. Wasn't the kitchen closing an hour ago?

Bulla Gastrobar was disappointing on the food and drink front! Service was excellent and location is OK. The sangria pitcher at $29 contained a red substance made of sirop, little alcohol and no fresh fruits and a tons of ice cubes...I suspect it came from a premix . Half of the tapas we ordered were covered with potato ships ... even the traditional eggs and ham dish. I didn't dare ordering a tortilla... as I was affrait it too had contained processed potato ships.

Bulla Gastrobar specializes in Spanish tapas and small plates. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is lively and fun. I have been to Madrid a few times and this reminded me a lot of the bar scene there. The wine selection was extensive and delicious. The tapas were delicious, every single one. We did not try in main dishes. The staff did a great job accommodating our group which grew from four to ten people unexpectedly. The only small problem was that food destined for the two people not connected to our large group was erroneously placed in front of our group embarrassingly leading a couple of us to pick at it.

When we arrived the wait was 55. I decided to make a rsvp on open table and the wait time changed to 15, when I approached the manager she said "I don't know how you were able to get a rsvp", your rsvp is not until
7pm and your going to have to wait. She did not sit us until 7:15 when we complained again.
