Bulla is one of the best restaurants in Coral Gables. Service and food never disappoint. Highly recommend the huevos bullas. You will dream about it!
We were running a little late due to traffic and I contacted the restaurant and they graciously held our table. The service and food was great!
My granddaughter & I asked if we could substitute chicken for the ham in The grilled peach salad. We were told by a the waitperson that we absolutely could. Not a problem. When the check came, they had added $10 ($5 for each of the "add-ons"). when I told the waitperson, she said there is always a charge to add chicken to a salad. I explained that she did not tell us there was an up-charge & said that we could substitute chicken for ham. when she said there was nothing she could do, I said that I would split it with her & take $5 off of her tip. At this point she went to the manager, who said because chicken cost more than ham, the chef decides on the up-charge & he would take one off. I was not happy, but agreed. He came back with the check & said he took off both. The decision to pay $19.50 for a salad should be the diner's choice, not the server's. It was an unpleasant exchange that should not have been necessary.
Excellent service and phenomenal food!
The brunch here is a little pricey with the unlimited sangria, but the food was delicious and our server kept the sangria coming! The music was great. The brunch menu is a 3 course selection, which was more food than I was expecting. The huevos bulla is my favorite here.
Music is always just a little too loud.
Loved the fried garbanzos and the ham croquettes! A must! Sangria was pretty good as well. Very varied menu and pretty ambiance.
It was really good.
We were pleasantly surprised
Croquetas were really salty for some reason. Other than that everything else was great.
This tapas restaurant features both dining space and space for large groups. Although the menu is largely fixed, there are seasonal options available. The food is truly outstanding, however, in some cases, the portion sizes of the tapas are smaller than what one would find in other, similar restaurants in this part of town (but, in most cases, they can be comfortably shared between 4 people). The service is also outstanding. The only thing about this place is the noise level: I would not recommend this place on a Friday or a Saturday night for an intimate meal. Between the overall ambience, the large bar area, and the multiple speakers blaring music throughout the restaurant, it is almost impossible to hear even the person sitting next to you. However, on other week days and weeknights, the restaurant is quieter.
Great happy hour and excellent tapas!
Our waiter forgot about us
Nice restaurant. Good tapas and drinks
This was a delightful dinner. Menu is varied with healthy tasty dishes. Food & service were terrific and well presented. Highly recommend.
Love this place! Great food, excellent service, and convenient location. One of my favorite lunch spots.
Excellent service and food. Will go again!
Bulla was a Latin treat! Great tapas items with wonderful flavor and had a superior Spanish wine that was delicious! This restaurant has something for everyone and was a great opportunity to chat and make new friends. The staff (Diane) was on her A game for our party of five. I would love to go again and have Diane as our service partner for the evening again.
Service was terrible
We love to go to Bulla in the Gables, but very disappointed this time around
Drinks took forever & food was not cooked well
Regret going last Sunday
Fantastic food, great service. Not thrilled with table/chair height.
Excellent service and great food. I recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
Dinner with friends that are family.
Food was delicious the service not so much.
They said we didnt have a reservation after even receiving the confirmation and three text messages. The hostess was ready to send us out of the restaurant because she couldnt find it, she was a bit rude, didn’t even check to see if there where other tables and quickly responded that they where full until way later. Another person of the staff saw the situation and came and check and couldn’t find us, im their system either, but quickly turned it around and located us a table.
So, I made a reservation of 5 for saturday and my friend for 4 so we could hopefully sit together for brunch and they did accomadate our whole group. I LOVE and everyone LOVED this place! the value of 50-55 bucks for a 3 course meal and bottomless mimosas for 2 hours is hard to beat. our server was amazing and suggested her favorite things and even better kept bringing us more and more mimosas. She was super fun and very attentive. I am definitely coming back here when I come back to miami.
Servers may not be getting the required training.
Yolanda was great!
Food, service and atmosphere all hit it out of the park! Luis was an attentive and knowledgable server. And the happy hour drink prices were a pleasant surprise.
We had a wonderful lunch. We are Spanish and we miss our typical food, bulla is the place to go if you wanna try Spanish paella, huevos rotos or jamón serrano.
Luis, very well service oriente, made our lunch, an unforgettable one, he went above and beyond. Thanks Luis.
Awesome service and awesome food - nothing more I can say!
Excellent service. Great food. Coffee and sangria amazing.
It was great lover our server Yolanda, the food was excellent
Not only does Bulla offer a fantastic menu of Spanish tapas with great flavor and great value, but the service during our last visit was impressively fast! Bulla is #1!
I've been to Bulla multiple times and it has always always been a great experience, awesome food, warm and fast service, and reasonable prices.but today the service was AWFUL...I have no idea why but we waited 40 minutes to see our waiter for the first time, then they got my drink wrong....then the put double the salt into one of the dishes.....it was a terrible terrible experience . I will double think next time I want to take my friends there...
The white sangria is a must
I love Bulla! The food is sophisticated but unpretentious. Traditional Spanish, yet reimagined and innovative. The list of Spanish wines is excellently curated and offers a wide range of prices. Their happy hour with 1/2 price bottles of wine on certain days of the week is extremely generous. The gazpacho is genuine (almost as good as my mom's, who is from Spain) and the special seasonal chef's menu is always worth trying.
However, it is a bit noisy (hence the Spanish slang term "bulla"--meaning a busy, noisy gathering of people—for its name) and you have to be willing to sit on high bar stools across the dining room (they have regular height tables and chairs only upstairs, which is not always open).
Nonetheless, it is this Spaniard's favorite Coral Gables restaurant.
The food and service were outstanding!! We enjoyed the tasting menu for Sunday brunch so much that we returned for dinner the same day. We have never done this before.
Food was very good. Some contemporary interpretations of classic Spanish food.
Vibrant and noisy place.
Service was OK. For some unknown reason they did not bring our drinks, for a while. First apetizers arrived before drinks.
Great spot for a casual night out. Interesting selection of small plates, good service and reasonable prices. Rivals Xixon for authentic Spanish tapas
Fantastic Tapas. Great deserts. Good wine list
