Everything from the host wine recommendation to the attentiveness without over bearing waiter service was fantastic. Not inexpensive but I would recommend it up

This past Valentine's day was my 5th visit to the Bull & Bear. As someone who lives in Orlando, in my personal opinion, this is the absolute best restaurant experience to be had. I haven't had the opportunity to visit Victoria and Albert's just yet; so perhaps until then, the Bull & Bear holds the trophy. The service is unmatched. They think ahead of you. When you start to think about asking for something, there they are. The food is amazing....all of it. This is an expensive restaurant, but as long they continue to set the bar for what a dining experience should be, I'll continue to return. If you're considering this restaurant, have absolutely no hesitation. It's what they do. Still the best!

My husband & I celebrated my 58th birthday here. It was wonderful. I had the lamb and substituted asparagus as my side instead of the lentils that came with the lamb. My husband had filet minion and we shared a side of mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. I was happily surprised to receive gratis, a creme brulee dessert which was served flaming to the table. As an extra special surprise we were specially seated at a window that allowed us to watch the Disney fireworks at ~8:15pm, which were fabulous. A very good evening indeed.

Disappointed!! We had been here once before and thought is was great. Thus time the service was not as attentive, the food was medicaid for the price, ( asparagus completely bland, steak had not much flavor, lobster mac seemed like it had been sitting under the warmer for 3 hours, all dried up, we didn't even eat it! Cesar was too briny!)
We will pass on this next time and head to Del Frisco's. Sorry! Waste of money.

Our meal took a long time to arrive and then steaks that were asked to be cooked medium-well (for our guests...not ours), were brought out rare and then sliced up, put back in the grill and then brought out very well done. These were $145.00 steaks. Nothing was removed from the bill, not even a cup of espresso.

From the start this was a great choice for our dining experience. The atmosphere was romantic and comfortable even though the room was mostly full we still felt as though we were alone.
The service was impeccable and every course carefully implemented with precision timing. Our server Tim explained each item and made sure we were satisfied with everything , he also gave us detailed information on our selections. I highly recommend The Bull and Bear to anyone looking for a special evening out.

The service is impeccable. The food is cooked to perfection. They pay attention to every detail including patron's chairs and refolding napkins if you should arise from the table. Most impressive to me was the fact that even though I had not been back for a while, they came to me with a list of my previous medical concerns regarding food items. They had these concerns filed in their system and checked to ensure there were no changes. I cannot think of a better place to celebrate a special occasion. You are treated like a VIP.

By far the best overall experience in the South Orlando area where dining service has generally dropped off significantly, even a "celebrity" restaurants. But not here! World-class food, wine, service, attention to EVERY detail. Perfect combination of attentive service without being overbearing during my business dinner for six. Make reservations early. My best business dining experience in many years from NYC to L.A.

Wonderful evening with my husband. Staff was great and very accommodating! Asked to be moved and it was arranged. Had the ceasar salad made tableside that I would recommend. Had the chateaubriand with spinach and it was delicious. Our waiter recommended a dessert on the lighter side - their special "lemon" that I am so glad we tried - especially if you like lemon meringue! Ate way too much but enjoyed it all!!

Service was beyond amazing!! Corn soup delicious, steak was pretty good (I've had better but was still good!) The ppl here literally were amazing and also very Interactive/ sociable if wanted ( I was by myself so I definitely didn't mind a little small talk)

Is it expensive? Absolutely. Is it worth every penny? You better believe it. This is what exceptional dining is all about. Candlelight, attentive service, delicious and inventive food preparations, perfect wine pairings, every aspect of the meal was perfect.
You are ushered to your table through the romantic, dimly-lit restaurant, and immediately introduced to the 3 waiters who will be taking care of you. The electronic menus are not just a gimmick here: they are essential for being able to see without a flashlight, and you can zoom in if you need to. Tap on the item and a full-color photo of the exact item is shown.
For wine novices like us, the wine list can be organized by pairings. Tell it what you are ordering, and a list of the perfect complementary wines is shown. Idiot-proof.
We chose to share the escargot gnocchi, and they split the plate for us. It was delicious, and literally melted in your mouth.
This place is about the steaks, and while we usually opt for the filet, we instead chose the signature Tomahawk for two, a monstrosity of deliciousness carved tableside for you. The chef uses the fat drippings to create a candle, and the candle "wax" is poured over your sliced steak for extra flavor. Incredible!
Now you are probably thinking, "isn't there something else they can use those fat drippings for?" How about for frying the most delicious French fries you have ever had!
For dessert, we chose the "Black Forest" which was a work of art consisting of a giant "cherry" filled with chocolate mousse and cherries, surrounded by a "forest floor" of sponge cake "moss" and crumb cake "soil", revealed from under a dome of dry ice "fog". A culinary masterpiece.
Throughout the meal the service was impeccable, and several managers stopped by to make sure we were happy. Yes, we were!
This is not a place you dine every week (your bank account and your coronary arteries would both decline rapidly). But this is a place that will make you believe in fine dining again!

The Kobe Wagyu sirloin was the best steak I have ever had. Simply amazing. Great service. Menus are on iPads complete with photos of each entree. Would recommend for a special occasion as their price points are higher than those for a average meal.

We had an excellent time here for our anniversary dinner. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable and the ambience was just right for us, quality but not stuffy. The server was friendly and professional and the food and drinks were to notch. This is the kind of place you want to linger over your meal and there was no pressure at all on time from the staff.
Also for the overall quality and surroundings it is surprisingly good value against similar level of top class establishments, I'm not saying its inexpensive but if you are used to the best restaurants it is good value in its class.

The food was mediocre. The service was average despite there being a staff of 5 to Service each table. It was way overpriced and not worth the value. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I have nothing more to say.
