Bull & Bear Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
Everyone was super friendly and attentive
The food was delicious
I ordered sea bass and it melted in my mouth, so good! Mac and cheese with lobster AMAZING!
It was my parents anniversary and they even put an anniversary card on table! So kind!
We will definitely be returning.
We are able to make it to this wonderful restaurant 3-4 times a year and it never disappoints. The room is lovely. It is elegant and timeless. The service staff is impeccably trained. Ashley is our preferred server. She knows what we like and can anticipates what we would like. The menu is lovely. But the specials of the day are fabulous. We dined on grilled veal chops this time that were out of sight. Try the frozen lemon for a very light dessert......we will be back
This was our second time to this restaurant. First time was the most amazing experience I have ever had. This bill was $310 and worth every penny! The last time we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes from the time we finished our salad until our $150 steak arrived which was overdone and smaller than anticipated. Service was ok but for that kind be of restaurant we expected much more. Our bill this time was $281 and I wanted to cry because I think we could have had a better experience and food at Black Angus Steakhouse for about $50. Very disappointed! On a lighter note, Tim was our waiter the first time so ask for him if you ever go there! He was amazing!
We have been dying to try this establishment. we had friends treat us to dinner and we had a few martini at the bar while waiting on our table. Once seated we had a knowledge server named Ryan. He went over the menu with us and made some great recommendations. We stayed with escargot gnocchi which the gnocchi were absolutely perfect and we had the tuna 3 ways which was not as good as we hoped. Enters ny husband has the strip steak which was cooked perfectly I had the braised short rib it was so tender and fell right off the bone our friend had the stark for 2. Dessert we had the reveal which was a cool presentation and that's about it... the chocolate candy bar was good and did not disappoint.
A fantastic dining experience! From the valet to the come back soon handshake, the experience was unique. The dining room was richly appointed yet very warm and comfortable. The service staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. The fabulous food was beyond description!
Both the lobster bisque and the corn soup tasted too strong. Seasoned not to be eaten without bread. The steak was delicious, but there was also considerable unevenness in how to bake. There were parts that were hard enough to be eaten. Sorry, the atmosphere is good.
The food is like a massive orchestra but the service is the center stage star of the show! By far one of the best experiences for dining in all our worldly travels. Our server Tim's knowledge of the food ingredients, prep and cooking was incredible. The entire experience was top quality!
This is one of our absolute favorite restaurants. Get Tim to help you plan your evening. The wines were spectacular. We actually did 2 nights this time... We did our comfort menus the first night and took some chances the second. The fired chicken and th short ribs were grat as usual. The Dover sole bones were fried, of course, and brought to us to demonstrate that the fish was fresh. Everything was absolutely perfect.
Everything about this restaurant exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is located inside the Waldorf, so parking was valet but that staff was great as well. We were greeted by the hostess and sat a few minutes later for our special table arranged by the window to view the fireworks. The restaurant staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Our dinner was the steak for 2, but I cannot remember how to spell the name of the steak, all I can remember is how amazing it all was. The most tender and tasty steak that I have ever had paired with an amazing potato side dish. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an upscale quiet dinner with delicious food and quality service
Our service team was awesome! We felt welcomed from the time that we pulled up. They went out of their way to make my 40th Birthday feel really special and very attentive. My friends and family raved about the food and the atmosphere and service. This was an elegant and romantic dining experience. The next time we are in Orlando we would love to come again. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to other people as well. Thanks again for making my birthday and dining experience the best ever!
Bull & Bear is wonderful in many ways. The entree selection is varied and the food is impeccably cooked and presented. The servers include a Captain who offered suggestions and explanations. The menu was digital, offered virant pictures and categorized all the food and wine selections. What made the evening so special was the service. Beginning with cocktails and ending with delicious desserts, we were attended to by knowledgeable and lovely servers. We were never rushed, but were allowed to enjoy each segment. This was a gift from our children, and was truly a very special evening.
Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The wilted spinach had too much garlic. Table service was excellent. The kitchen took about 30 minutes longer than expected to prepare our entree. Since they were only steaks, we think order got misplaced. Manager was attentive to issue and gave us each a complimentary glass of wine.
Great ambience with the classic steak house decor. Located in a first class Waldorf Astoria hotel.
