Love Buku! The food is amazing and so is the service.
NYE- it was perfect!
Great food. Good service
An excellent New Years Eve dinner.
Awesome service and great food!
Great food and good ambiance
Great spot for brunch. I have only been for brunch. Great for networking groups, dates, and family brunch.
BUKU is out go to place for Sunday brunch with friends and out of town visitors. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is very casual. We never feel rushed.
Good variety of delicious breakfast and lunch items and perhaps the best fried chicken in town. The only problem is the difficulty in controlling myself not to eat to much. A real challenge.
Good food and good service
Very good Birthday dinner with the family.
Awesome food and drinks!! Great atmosphere! Love this place.
Really enjoyed every dish we had and the fun beverages! Great choices for our vegetarian and gluten free family
It was very happy with my experience
Our waiter was phenomenal. He was very attentive and held a conversation with the table to make the whole experience great.
This restaurant will soon be moving to Cary. Make plans accordingly!
Sunday brunch is great. I love the freshness and tasteful buffet. I will miss going to the downtown location.
Large variety of food
Annual Christmas dinner with my friends. Did not disappoint. I will miss y’all being downtown. Good luck at your Cary location.
Our party of six had a very enjoyable dinner at BuKu on a busy Saturday evening. Nothing on the menu is spectacular but BuKu is a fun place to go. I’m not sure that their model will work in Cary but we’ll find out soon enough.
From the minute we walked in the restaurant to the last bite of our chocolate soufflé, our experience was perfect. The service, the wine, the food were all a 10!
Went for a pre-theater birthday dinner. Party of 7 easily accommodated. Everyone’s food was excellent. The service was outstanding! Aware of our timeframe and working with a late arrival, our waitress, made everything run so smoothly. Best service I’ve experienced in a long time! Thank you
Service was bad, kitchen was slow, had to send multiple things back, eventually we had a decent meal. Took us two hours to eat. We only went here because we went to So'ca and that was so bad they gave us a gift certificate to Bu'ku. Everyone involved in both need to get it together.
Last time we were at Bu•Ku, we loved it so when my best friends birthday came around, we decided it would be. A great place to take her. Unfortunately it seems the restaurant has gone down hill since we were last there.
We ordered 6 small plates (sushi roll, vegetable dumplings, pork gyoza, shrimp larb, beet hummus and pear salad). The pear salad was dressed in an extremely salty and oily dressing - to the point we couldn’t eat it. The other small plates were good but everything was extremely heavy on the salt so we were left feeling underwhelmed.
Lastly, and most disappointing, they charged us for my best friends birthday cake!! I have never had a restaurant charge you for the birthday dessert!
Needless to say, unfortunately, we won’t be returning any time soon.
The food just wasn’t what I was hoping it would be. The atmosphere was great though.
My BFF and I went to buku at its Raleigh location this week 'one last time' for our traditional hotpot with iced tea (note: it's better with rice than with rice noodles). And I FINALLY thought to get another bowl for takeout (duh!).
Food was interesting and good. I had a "large bowl" and I thought the broth could have hotter. We sat in a booth which I found a bit uncomfortable as the seats were to low for the table.
Tandoori chicken was incredible. Tiramisu was awesome. All very flavorful, well prepared and presented. Great food.
The food is awesome! You can’t miss with anything on the menu.
Dined here to celebrate son’s birthday. Wasn’t sure I would like it but the food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. We sat next to the water wall.
Delicious and affordable brunch with free parking!
Staff is consistently pleasant and accommodating.
The absolute bbbbeeessssstttt brunch spot in Raleigh. The different stations gives you an a amazing selection of flavorful food.
We had the best experience at buku! Our server was absolutely incredible, and the food was delicious. (The ramen was some of the best we've ever had.)
Good as always.
I’m very disappointed because my friend and I planned a whole night out and made reservations for 7:15pm on Sunday and we got there and found that the restaurant was closed. Not only were they closed but there were still employees there (four hours after closing time) outside smoking and they just said “um we’re actually closed, we close early on Sundays now” and when I mentioned that I had booked a reservation on opentable and that it wasn’t listed as closing early here and they responded “oh yeah we just haven’t updated our hour there”. It was handled very unprofessionally and honestly ruined our entire evening. They should have at least seen that they had a late reservation and called the reschedule us.
I enjoy taking friends, especially those from out of town to Buku. The menu and the setting are impressive; the ambiance is good for conversation.
My fiends are inevitably impressed with the menu choices, the quality of the food and the experience as a whole.
I am sad that it is leaving downtown Raleigh, but will follow it to Cary.
The service is great!! The food was increadable. Great selection of hot and cold dishes, carving station, egg station, and fresh.
Awesome!.Ambiance!............ Making me type more than I wanted too......too......toooo......
My husband and I enjoyed an amazing dinner last night at Buku. The restuarant is low lite and beautiful. We enjoyed Hawaiian Ahi Poke and Vietnamese spring rolls as appetizers; both were wonderful. I selected the Vietnamese Pho. It was by far the best I have ever eaten. To top it off, my husband raved about the filet he ordered. The service was just as amazing as the meal
Fantastic food! Had the ramen and it was unbelievably delicious. Their craft cocktails are excellent, too. Highly recommend!
