Leo was great!
We’ve eaten here several times for the years of skiing Beaver Creek. Have always had a positive enough experience to keep coming back. Except maybe this time. Service was good and the ambiance remains wonderful. The food was a huge disappointment. The hamburger was over cooked and dry. The truffle fries were soggy. Not what I expect from a lunch for two that costs $100!
Great food. Terrible service. We had the manager comp the meal
The taste of the food was great but I ordered the tacos and the waitress asked if I wanted avocado on the three small tacos. So I did she never told me how much extra it would be. We got the bill and she added $12 for a few slices of avocado ridiculous. To add bacon to a sandwich it was $3. My advice don’t add avocado.
Great staff and Wait staff Joel (?) from the east.
service was good, truffle fries and pork belly lettuce wraps were so good!
Anna was so sweet and helpful. She offered great recommendations!!
The Ritz Carlton - Bachelor Gulch is a beautiful building and fits the area well. We went for a Saturday dinner. Food was mixed, the burgers were very average, not worth the price. Over peppered and under dressed, kinda meh. Chile and nachos were a hit.
Two minor complaints, the music was overly loud and the room very HOT!
We were comfortable eating at Buffaloes, it followed all the need COVID guidelines, properly spaced tables etc. However, we were appalled by the bar however, it looked like 2 years ago, unmasked people, piled upon each other.
Todo muy rico y bien
We were very disappointed. The restaurant was very understaffed and our server was overwhelmed. My $58.00 steak was served lukewarm at best. We had to ask for steak knives. A grain bowl served to my adult daughter was in her words "tasteless". This is a place for a beer and soft pretzel at the end of the day. It is a not a place for an expensive dinner.
Amazing place. Make a point to go every time we ski. Highly recommend!!
Had Bavarian pretzel and bison burger. Both delicious.
Food was mediocre compared to other options at the Ritz.
Bison burger very good! Server was friendly and efficient.
The woman working the hostess stand was incredibly rude and uncommunicative. There were a number of seats inside and when we asked to sit there (rather than in the 10 degree outdoor area) she said they were all taken - when they weren’t (I doubt she even checked). Those tables were empty from when we sat until when we left. Too rude of service to be paying that much for lunch.
I was with two 15 year old guys and they said these were the best wings they had ever had. Burgers were good, grain bowl was yummy. great service.
My trout was small and dry. Our waitress was so nice and we enjoyed our drinks. My husband really enjoyed the beef burgundy so not a bad experience. Too bad the trout was so disappointing. There was live music fighting with the piped in music so that should have been coordinated as well.
Stayed at the resort for 3 nights and spent most of our time at buffalos! The food & service is amazing! Highly recommend the cast iron nachos- we got them twice! Also special shout-out to Juan the manager and Tracy the server! They were both fantastic and provided superb service during our visits. Very professional and friendly.. no detail went unnoticed thanks to the two of them! Sad to leave but can’t wait to return!!
Dined at Bar was top notch.
Another good experience at Buffalo's. I met with some clients there and they thoroughly enjoyed the service and their lunch selections. Bryan did a nice job and was very attentive.
We have eaten at this restaurant since it opened and this was a terrible experience on all levels. Food was not good, overpriced 32.00 for a salad with chicken, and chili that was half a bowl that lacked taste. We understand everything can be blamed on COVID, but the RITZ...its unacceptable at any price. Our lunch for 4 of us was 200.00, and it add insult to injury the parking fee is 200.00 if your picking up skiers. They have ruined the Vail Valley experience.
Always delicious at Buffaloes! Elk chili is a must have!! Eric is always attentive and adds to the experience! We’ll be back this summer!
Angie and Chris
The night started with complimentary valet parking, followed by a kind escort to our table. We were served our drinks fast and efficiently and the quality was great. Best glass of wine I’ve ever had. Our appetizer came out fast, and our entrees were to die for. The noise level was perfect, the lighting dim but not too dim, the service kind and professional, and the food was amazing.
The meatless impossible burger and fries were DELISH! Great service and atmosphere after several hours of skiing! Highly recommended.
This place is delicious! I love the choices and the hatch chili fries and Bison burger is a must try! Our waiter was great, so polite, but a fun personality. He was An Irish gentleman!
Service was great, as you’d expect from the Ritz. Sat outside and enjoyed live music, lively happy hour scene, beautiful views and stayed (relatively) warm from heaters/ fire pit.
Our server Mark was wonderful. Will definitely request him in the future!
Food was cold
Not worth the cost
The staff was super friendly and made the experience fun!
Our server was a new employee from Florida, wonderful woman. But there was this Ritz employee, a man in a diner jacket, who came to tell us to put our masks on right as our drinks were arriving. Sort or ruined the whole occasion. We had our masks on until we were already seated knowing our food was on it's way. Wouldn't recommend this spot.
Excellent as always!
Perfect in every way
Delicious burgers, salads, & the tater tots are not to be missed!
The service and food here are just right! Friendly, thoughtful service and well planned, excellent food and choices make this an easy dining experience you'll enjoy tremendously. Loved the fish and chips, burgers, drinks and cowboy cookie with ice cream!!!!
Good cocktails and bites!! Diverse comfort food menu. On Thursdays there are some
wild game specials. Delish!
Many unique menu items. We could have eaten here
every day trying something different. Good job!
Great food-- beautiful scenery. A terrific evening. Our waiter TJ was outstanding-- extremely fun, witty, professional -- all of us ( 7 adults-2 children) thought he was one of the best waiters we'd had in years!!!
