   Nice menu, limited choices but the mussels were outstanding. Say at the bar after dinner, fun watching John, the owner, show off his talents behind the bar. Very clean and great presentation. Would go back!

   Excellent food and service. You can tell that the cocktails are made by experts in their craft. A very enjoyable meal and experience overall.

   Buffalo Proper is the best value in Buffalo!! We eat here every time we’re in town! The farm-to-table menu coupled with the Chef’s incredible creativity is delicious and the price is far lower than you’d expect for such quality. And the drinks!!! I have no problem spending $10+ dollars at the bar when each drink is made with thought by a true mixologist. Just tell them your favorite flavors and they will mix something you’ll ask for every time. Dinner for two with an app, multiple plates to share and a couple of drinks a piece for around $100; you can’t beat it.

   We tried this place for the first time and we were thrilled. We chose the special which was pick 1 small dish, 1 main dish and a drink each. The food was amazing!! We could have been full with the small dish though. The mixed drinks menu seemed interesting too. Next time we will have to try one. I would have liked a few more beers on tap. But I found a Stout that wasn’t bad.

   Food was absolutely amazing and the drinks were fabulous. Steak was awesome.

   Decent food, good ambience, friendly bartenders, accommodating waitress. *BUT* Snooty host/ not welcoming of families. Seemed bothered by our mere existence from seating us up until half-heartedly offering the dessert menu. Although I've dined here a number of times, I would not recommend it again at this price point if the host is going to make your party feel like an unwelcome burden. If they can be nice and a little less pretentious, then yes, it's a cool spot for the atmosphere.

   Food was excellent. I had a burger, and said it was the best burger I ever had. My husband had a pork dish and he as well loved his meal. Only complaint, I made reservation on line. They did call me to confirm. It was snowing out and when they called we told them we would probably be a little late to which they responded “no problem”. We had trouble with an Uber ride(we are from Long Island), and they kept calling us. When we arrived, there were plenty of empty tables. When we finished dinner, same amount of empty tables. Not quite sure for all the phone calls.

   Service was excellent. Food was just too odd. Too many flavors competing with each other. Music was odd and very loud. Beautiful place but menu needs to be toned down with more traditional, appealing dishes. Trying to hard to make unique food doesn’t always work.

   Bartender makes your drink taste and look like a piece of art. Food was, as always, amazing.

    My daughter and I attend every time we go to see a play at Shea's. Not only is the food delicious but the service is great and we don't feel rushed and the staff is very friendly. Some people might say it's a little pricey but I don't tend to go out very often and coming here is a treat!
