Buddy V's at The Venetian Ratings and Reviews
The service was rude. The staff at the desk were hopeless despite us booking in advance they made us wait to set up a table which should have been set up as they knew we were coming at midday, then they put us on an empty table in the corridor. We complained and then they put us on a table indoors
There was five of us and they gave us one menu. They were rude when we asked for more menus and even more fed up when we asked for a child menu.
The food was good credit to the chef and his team of cooks, but the reception and waiting staff were not only daft but rude with it. So would not recommend.
As alwaya, a terrific, authentic Italian meal. My friend and I eat here on every visit to Vegas. We both recommend the same dish, Sunday Gravy. We are both 2nd generation Italian and this reminds us of our childhood and what it was like every Sunday. Get the dish with rigatoni!
Went for brunch and was a bit underwhelmed this time. Dirty coffee cup with something stuck to the inside of it. Food was dry and only warm, not hot. The previous times i went for brunch it was on a Sunday and thw restaurant was busier. When the waiter was notifes of the dirty coffee cup, no apology, just a new cup.
Italian birthday cake just ok. I was expecting better.
Sunday gravy, lasagna and spaghetti were excellent. The tomato based sauce is delicious.
Service was ok. Had to ask to be served bread and had to ask for drink refills which in my opinion you should not have to ask.
From the beginning to the end of the evening, everything was great. Started off with cocktails, then had the best tasting Caesar salad with the best croutons ever.
For the main entree I had “my mother in laws shrimp scampi pasta”. A must try go to restaurant
My wife and I enjoyed our meal. We were in town on vacation. We split the Caesar Salad, Chicken Parm, and garlic bread. All of which were fantastic. The only disappointment was the blueberry cheesecake that was on the online menu but not available in the restaurant. We left empty handed without dessert.
This was THE best food we had while visiting Vegas on this trip. Everything was delicious, there was a great variety of items, and the separate food stations vs a normal buffet seemed to help things not feel too crowded. It also meant i almost never waited to get to what I was wanting to get to. Sometimes pasta on a buffet (especially Mac-n-Cheese) can be iffy. The pasta sits too long and gets over cooked easily, but I didn't have that experience at this restaurant. Everything was cooked in small batches, which meant it came out fresh and pipping hot. And don't even get me started on the tiramisu! Holy Moley....!!! I even enjoyed the bread pudding and I'm generally not a fan. When we get a chance to come back, I hope this is one of the places that sticks because I've gotta have that incredible mac-n-cheese again! I would enjoy seeing something with angel hair or vermicelli, as I enjoy that type of pasta more, and I am a huge potato fan, and there were no potato choices.
The bottomless Bloody Mary bar and mimosa/Bellini/sangria selection is the best deal in Vegas. Combine that with amazing food and you’ve got the makings for a legit food coma! Go only when you have time to nap afterward, you’re not going out after this brunch! We go every time we visit Vegas, and we’re never disappointed. Everything was beyond delicious. And obviously the desserts alone are worth the price of the buffet. Yum!
PHENOMENAL. Seriously hands down the best brunch with the best service in Las Vegas. You can get the bottomless drinks and swap from drink to drink. Start with a bloody, switch to a Bellini, go with a Caesar, it's all good and it is all delicious. Incredible service, we will definitely be back!
Food was fantastic, once they got the order correct. Upon recognizing their mistake they went above and beyond to be sure the dinnng experience was good. My problem with the evening was the tables are very close and the 4 people dining next to us ruined a great meal by being extraordinarily loud, with unacceptable language for a public dining experience.
I found the food average. The sauce was a little too acidic tasting for me. The food was served hot. The portions were above average. The price was more then other restaurants for Italian. I'm sure because it's in the Venetian and on the strip, that accounts for the cost. I was disappointed.
