    Like so many other things these days, it’s just not as good as it once was. We hadn’t been back since the Pandemic but prior to that, Buddakan was on our regular rotation. All the Starr restaurants are in the same boat for me…great service, great atmosphere, the food isn’t as good as it was before the pandemic. I don’t know if they changed distributors to save money or if they’ve simply cut costs, while raised prices but it’s too bad. I once bragged about Buddakan and Barclay Prime here in Philly and 954 and El Vez in Fort Lauderdale, now I won’t even recommend them to fiends coming into town. Still decent, but no longer elite.

    Excellent restaurant. Right from the ambience to the service to the food...five star rating. Edamame dumplings are great. Definitely try the dim sum platter and the lamb chops. The Buddha's temple for dessert was amazing

    The menu was a bit overwhelming. Would recommend taking a good look online before coming. Our server was very helpful though. Didn't think I had quite enough to eat, also thought it was very expensive for what we got. Would also appreciate if there were more vegetarian offerings.

    I love the food, but it’s a haste making reservations and it’s very loud. The servers are nice but busy so there isn’t an exceptional level of service. That is also highlighted by the fact that the kitchen sends out whatever dish is ready instead of working to plate simultaneously. That’s their choice and the own it up front, but I prefer everything at once. I guess that as long as the food is as delicious as it is, nobody will really care.
