   The food was absolutely amazing. Our service overall wasn’t what we were used too. We are are frequent diners at almost all of Steven Starr restaurants and Buddakan is our absolute favorite. Our server’s name was Danielle, she was very short with us, we were trying to order items to go, she told us we couldn’t and the manager explained that we could. Other than that, the food and spending time with our friends was awesome.

   We dined for restaurant week so it was very crowded, however we were seated at our reservation time and service was efficient and friendly. The menu offerings were excellent and even when crazy busy, Buddakan delivered!

   I didn't like the Restaurant week menu, so I ended up ordering the pricey food which was good, the Plum sake was good. We had lobster rolls which was okay but too much pepper in it, which was odd. The shrimp dumplings were good. I didn't like the lobster fried rice though. Not enough lobster and it was also dry, with no sauce provided. I had the beef with bok choy substitute, my bestie had the lamb chops and we shared. So all in all it was good. As a fruity cocktail drinker, I didn't like their cocktail list.

   Well I love every single visit we have had to Buddakan, this one was especially good because I was with a very good friend who has gone through a rough patch in the last few months and because Katie our server was really spectacular. The meal was delicious, as usual, but what was really surprising to me is how large the portions were, given that it was restaurant week. The only downside is that it is a bit loud, although I do tend to like a “buzz“. Can’t wait for my next time to get those delicious bao buns. Thanks so much for another memorable dinner.

   I had a great time. I loved the energy. It was loud in a very positive way. It seemed like a space to really enjoy friends and good food.

   We were earlier and the host was so nice and accommodate us super fast. He was so eager to help us. Food was amazing!

   Amazing atmosphere at the front of the house! Truly delicious 3 course meal from the back of the house. Always my favorite!

   As always, food was perfect. Service with Russ was impeccable. We were sat near the kitchen so it was very energetic and bustling - but never a burden.

    Friend was in town from Dallas and it just so happened to be Restaurant Week. Great vibe. Awesome ambiance. Top notch service. Amazing food. Never had a bad meal there. Convenient parking garage (Bourse) or Valet (only cash or Venmo)
