Buddakan - Philadelphia
Need to book at 2:15 AM?Other great restaurants with availability.
Great family dinner. Never disappointed.
My family went for the Chinese New Year Celebration. As always the food and service was perfect. Although was disappointing when the restaurant ran out of 2 Chinese New Year’s brunch options. I am not sure how you run out of this when the restaurant should expect all tables will order the dishes.
Chinese New Year celebration featuring lion dancers!
Always wonderful! Food and service! One of center city’s gems!
Dave, our server was wonderful. Dave was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great suggestions. The food was delicious, my favorite was the lamb chops.
This is still a reliable go-to for Asian Fusion food in Philadelphia.
The place just delivers every time.
David our server was wonderful and attentive for how busy it was. Food was excellent!
The food and service were excellent. We selected Dim Sum Sampler, Crab dish and Beef Satay with Tempura veggies and shared all 4 small dishes. Service was very good and food arrived quickly. Only drawback was a loud and crowded Saturday night that made conversation with a friend I had not seen in months a bit difficult. Would recommend trying on a weekday evening instead if you want to talk, but it might be just as popular then.
Food was incredible, staff was wonderful. Would have preferred a more exciting seating location. We were seated in a corner by the bar. Hopefully next time we can see a different area of the restaurant.
Great food, great service a little noisy but that is part of the ambiance
Very nice. Food was hot.
The food felt overpriced for what was essentially mediocre-quality food. Dessert was great, but the main courses were lacking in flavor and size. Waiter was also a bit abrupt and unfriendly. Wouldn't recommend.
Very good, worth the ride to Philadelphia. Me and my husband got the restaurant week lunch bento. Service was great!
Considering it was restaurant week and the restaurant was very busy the staff was very attentive and very helpful with explaining what they suggested on the menu , this is why I gave them 4 stars. Portions were small , even ordered off the regular menu which was very over priced but the food was ok nothing to rave about .
AMAZING ❤️❤️ Definitely a place to revisit..the customer service MARC was thee BEST..
Wonderful experience the only problem was the server was a little slow, however he was very busy. I would definitely recommend wonderful people, food and great prices
1st time there, went for lunch during restaurant week. Will go back
It was good not great. Waited at least 30 mins for our food and was almost served someone else’s meal until we notified the delivery person that was not what we ordered. Service was adequate. i prefer the dinner here over lunch.
Delicious food! Excessively long wait for food to arrive (but it was restaurant week, so it was pretty crowded!). Upstairs seating was pretty loud. Would definitely go back, just not sit upstairs!
Food was very soyty service not that good
This was my third visit to Buddakan and once again it was a hit. Service, food, drinks and ambiance are always exceptional. My only issue was the cold draft blowing into the restaurant and easily felt since we were sitting at a table in direct line with the front door.
Excellent dinner with great company! Buddakan never disappoints!
I don't see the hype in this restaurant. It was packed with a lot of millennials. The look is nice. The food was okay. With a party of 5, no one was impressed. Not worth the money. Glad it was restaurant week because the bill would have been at least $350. On to the next.
Wished duck wings we actually crispy. But my boyfriend loved! all of the food. He was in heaven. Donuts are a must!
The food was delicious. I ordered a bottle of wine that was on their by the glass list. They came back and told me they were out of it so I chose another bottle. After a while the waiter come back and said they had a manager looking for it. They finally found it but 3 of us were sitting for 30 minutes waiting for a glass of wine. And no offer to make it up to us. Left me feeling that my business wasn’t that appreciated.
The miso soup was too salty. The chicken was tough and chewy. Atmosphere was nice and the service was good.
We love Buddakan and, our ladies lunch group, always go for birthdays and Restaurant Week lunch. The service is always good and the food never disappoints. If you go, get the donuts.....trust me!
Great atmosphere, food was great! Would definitely go again
It was amazing. The service was fantastic and the food was all delicious.
Went for anniversary
I took my parents and my boyfriend out to dinner and it was perfect!!
went with my bf for restaurant week because we are broke college students that still occasionally like to indulge in some of the pleasures in life. the food was well worth us splurging a little. the vibes are incomparable here.
Amazing food, service, ambiance, etc. You won't be disappointed.
Restaurant week meal. Excellent value and quality
We had great service at the bar during restaurant week. It was fairly busy for a Monday night and everything came out promptly and tasted great. Service was superb.
Amazing!!! No complaints at all. Food and service was amazing and the ambiance was outstanding.
What a great dining experience. Professional staff and excellent service. Our food was delicious.
Delicious food and romantic modern ambiance. The cocktails were intriguing and the entree choices were unique and tasty.
