   Celebrated my birthday here for a party of 6. Everything was overall great but the service was terrible. We felt a bit neglected by our server. He didn’t go through the menu with us at all so we just ordered whatever felt right. When we ordered, the server failed to mention to us how many pieces were in each dish and we ended up having to cut up the small bites and sharing it. We 100% would’ve ordered additional plates or pieces had we known. When the food hit the table, we had no idea what we were eating since they were speaking under their breath what the dish was and we couldn’t hear them over the music. At some point a runner kind of threw the plate on the table and startled everyone. Server had some redeemable points since the first bday dessert didn’t have a candle (initially made me feel some type of way) but then came back out with the candle but to be honest, the damage had already been done. Food and ambiance was absolutely spectacular. I enjoyed the cauliflower lollipops, the tuna tartare rolls, and the drinks were unique.

   Dim sum dreams & perfect filet—Buddakan delivers! Buddakan was pure magic from start to finish. We went with the dim sum tasting and the filet, and y’all… I’m still dreaming about it. The dim sum tasting was the perfect way to try a little of everything—each bite was more delicious than the last, and beautifully presented like little works of art. And that filet? Lord have mercy. Cooked to perfection, buttery soft, and packed with flavor in every bite. It was the kind of meal that makes you close your eyes and savor. The atmosphere was jaw-dropping—dark, moody, and glamorous in all the best ways. You feel like you’ve entered some secret, opulent hideaway. And the service? Top tier. Our server was kind, attentive, and knew that menu like the back of their hand. If you’re looking for an unforgettable night out in the city—this is it. Don’t second guess it. Buddakan is a whole experience and an absolute must. Five stars with extra sparkle!

   Fuimos mis dos hijas y yo. El camarero trajo la bebida para mí y tardo en traer el resto. Nos trajo la comida a mí y a una de mis hijas y la otra esperó media hora a que le traigan su plato, probablemente lo habían olvidado. Lo mismo cuando pedí una segunda copa de vino. La tuve que reclamar y tardaron demasiado. La comida muy bien

   Great food and friendly service as always. The noise level could be improved, however. It’s too loud so having a conversation is not easy. But its a NY iconic restaurant with a clubby feel to it and it’s fun to experience it time and again.

   It was perfectly paced, the drinks were perfect, the wait staff was flawless. I never give compliments so this is a 10 of 5 stars.

   Wow! Just wow! First off, the whole space is just spectacular. And the best part, the food and the service live up to it in every way. If I have to criticize something, I’d say maybe add just a touch more light in the bathroom.

   Overall experience was amazing ! Our host Richard was very knowledgeable of the entire menu, recommended great choices and made the entire evening run very smooth. Buddakan is a must go when in NYC. Will be returning!
