    Buddakan was a huge disappointment. Don’t be filled by the influencers. Service and food are pitiful. You only go for the pictures. It’s laughable that this place gets good reviews.

    The food is very good but very expensive. It would be worth it if you are seated in the main dining room which is why I booked the restaurant. It looks beautiful in the pictures. However, there were no tables available so they sat us in an empty room which was dark and far away from the action. We asked for another table and then they sent us to another dark empty room. I don’t understand why they didn’t close off all these empty rooms and then they wouldn’t all be empty. We felt like we were in time out and forgotten most of the night. At one point some influencers decided to use the room for a photo shoot and we were treated like we were in their way and no one working in the restaurant felt they should stop the photographer from flashing strobe lights through our dinner. At the end of the evening they gave us a $500 bill for three people and I never had a more disappointing experience for that amount of money. But, as I said, the food was good.

    Consistently delicious Asian fusion dishes in an amazing vibe with super attentive and friendly service. Has been one of my favorite restaurants in New York for years

    This was a wonderful and easy way to make our dinner reservations. I needed to change our time and it was incredibly easy to do so. The restaurant was amazing and helped make a dinner out to celebrate one to remember.

    The food was outstanding. It was just the two of us dining, so a larger group would have allowed us to try more variety without wasting it all. However, we could barely hear each other sitting caddy-corner at a two-top table. Trying to have a conversation with a group would be nearly impossible. It was perhaps the loudest place I've ever dined -- perfect if your date looks great, but doesn't have a lot to say. Alas, mine looked good and is fun to talk to.
