   The food is EXCELLENT! But, prepare to dine in a nightclub or an aerobics class. The music is extremely loud to the point you cannot hear the person across the table from you or your server. You can expect to feel like dancing or working out to the noise. It is dimly lit so prepare to use a flashlight to see the menu, Consider this a high review on the food and a very low review on the ambiance. I would get takeout to enjoy the food, but not eat in the restaurant.

   The ambience was amazing.. loved the decor and vibe. The main hall reminded me of the "great hall" from Harry Potter. The candles on the table were a nice touch. the food and drinks were lovely too. Would definitely recommend and come back :)

   Fantastic food but service needs work. When we arrived we were sent to the lounge area but you had no way of identifying us which made for a rather odd experience where people that work there continued to come around and ask who we were. I really think you could improve this experience by inviting people to order a drink at the bar or having a system where you can identify who people are. We waited a while for our table to be ready despite having a reservation so decided to get a drink at the bar (lady behind the bar was very good) and then when we were ready we couldn’t find anyone to seat us. Once we were seated it took 20 minutes for someone to come to our table to offer water/ talk about the menu. A plate was taken away from my husband whilst he was still eating - the waiter didn’t seem to care or notice. Maybe things are different in the US but I think this is a pretty basic standard of service. All in all a pretty disappointing experience on my 30th birthday!

    The duck was very dry. The drinks were tasty. Did not like that when you start at the bar, you must check out at the bar and they will not walk your drinks to the table for you either. Expected a little better service than that.

    Experience was “ok”. Used to be one of My favorite spots in the city but it seems like everything’s changed in recent years. Came here to celebrate my partners birthday and ended up just feeling embarrassed. One of the vegetable plates were not even cooked and was cold, had to send back. Waiter dropped off a menu with no menu in it. Menu pages were sticky and looked like they had not been reprinted in years. Birthday dessert came with no candle. Had to ask for one even though this was noted in the reservation. Overall I wish I had the same experiences I’ve had in the past here, but I doubt that will happen again. Such a shame. Drinks are still great though so if anything come hang out at the bar for some awesome cocktails.

    It was my girlfriend birthday and they went above and beyond for us to make sure she had the best birthday. We had a great table down in the ballroom and the food and service was amazing.

    The name is Buddakan and the dishes go by the same names but the flavor is missing and not at all as robust as it was and the portions are small and over priced as in the glazed cod. The new chef needs to up his game and make the food as memorable as it once was. We live nearby and frequented often before Covid but shall not return. The young manager offered his apology but nothing tangible as in an adjustment to the check.

    It is a very pretty restaurant, but it was hard to get someone to serve us drinks and the waiters were impatient. The food wasn’t wonderful- we went for the Peking duck and were disappointed, but maybe we ordered wrong. It was very expensive and very loud. I honestly wouldn’t go again.
