Celebrating our anniversary

We had an outstanding time at Buddakan. The food was excellent but the service even better. The check in could be a bit better. One of our party was late and rather than honor our request to be seated to wait, they insisted we go to the bar that was crowded and no place to sit. other than that, it was a great experience.

I have been to Buddakan on multiple occasions. I am never dissatisfied by the atmosphere, outstanding service, and the ambiance Buddakan possesses. However, on this particular occasion, the meat (On both my steak and chicken) were subpar, and dry.

Great experience at Buddakan. The main room is beautiful, all of the staff were extremely attentive and helpful (we wanted to switch tables and they easily accommodated), and the food was excellent. Service was great. Highly recommend.

Pricey but it's an experience

Lovely hosts and servers.They were warm & explanatory when it came to choosing from the menu. Music a little to electronic for my liking. We enjoyed everything we ordered and had no complaints! Overall a nice experience :)

Our favorite annual NYC dining destination. Such a great experience every year that is consistent and exceeds expectations. NYC trip would not be complete without dining at Buddakan!

The food was absolutely amazing and the service was top notch. I sprained my ankle and I asked the waitress if there was an elevator instead of those stairs and she contacted the manager and the manager took my friends and I through the back way. So sweet and thoughtful.

I’m sure by now people know how awesome this place is, so nuf’ said

We went there for my birthday and it completely lived up to expectations. We had cocktails in the lounge area, were seated perfectly on time. Our waiter was very informative about the dishes and suggested perfect wine pairings. The food was spectacular! We are already making plans to go again.

Amazing service and food- great Location- Destination for large crowd or romantic celebration- Been many times- never disappointed:-)

Went last week for dinner and just loved everything about this place.

The only thing that could do better were their cocktails, The food was fantastic and so was the service.

When my date and I entered the restaurant to checkin with the maitre de they were lukewarm. Didn’t even bother to look up for several minutes to check us in for our reserved table. Disappointing! On the other hand our server was exceptional. She was thorough with taking our order and made great recommendations given some of our diet restrictions,

Everything I ate here was fantastic. The oxtail dumplings were to die for. Our server Ryan was knowledgeable and friendly and gave us the best food recommendations! Travis the manager also stopped by our table and was super friendly! My whole party had such a great time. I will definitely be coming back and I would recommend to anyone visiting NYC!

Our waiter was A+ in all aspects of service. I have a funny food allergy (potatoes) and he was completely thorough in making sure I was served well. He even found which dishes had potato flour in them. Great experience start to finish. Food, decor, good for a group. Fantastic.

Such a lovely venue. Service was spectacular and the food just delish!

The food was great and so was the atmosphere, the only caveat is there was large gap in time from when our first entree came out to our last although all items were ordered at the same time. Timing is everything to ensure and completely great experience!

Buddakan never disappoints! I actually dream about their Edamame dumplings.

The food was amazing! Service was good. We waited 45 mins to be sat after our reservation... it seems they couldn’t find us in the lounge. That was a bit annoying but the food made up for it.

In town for a meeting, gathering with good friends.

The restaurant was not full and they put us at a terrible table looking at a small kitchen that they have plates and everything. Very noisy because they go there every time to get things.

I think they should skip the worst tables when it’s empty. Not sit the reservations.

Sincerely it was my anniversary and they did not care about that at all. That experience was not good at all.

Aún con reservación esperamos más de media hora para poder sentarnos, la atención fue regular, muy lentos en traer la comida y la trajeron por partes no todo al mismo tiempo.El postre estaba excelente como siempre pero no volveré a ir en muuucho tiempo. Mi sea bass no estaba tan bueno como otras veces.

Food is good but service is ok. Great vibe and atmosphere. Great to celebrate.

My wife and I have been here before and are always satisfied with the ambiance and great food! Great place to bring a date. Our service was terrific also!

Very expensive for fairly average food. Beautiful building but music more like club level than restaurant so hard to chat. Lost my coat at coat check.
