I had an amazing experience but had to wait 45 minutes to get my table . This is way too long !
Was very nice
Very impressive space, but quite 90's in its vibe. Personally, it didn't do it for me.. the food was good and the service too, but it felt like "been there done that".
Increíble. Es la Segunda vez que voy a comer a este lugar indescriptible. La comida es única. Vale la pena
Very disappointing diner . The place is huge and very unpersonnal... the only nice room is the big one in the middle otherwise there is nothing in the decoration.
The food is average and way too expensive for what it is.
We took the dim sum platter to share for 2 and there is just one real dim sum and the taste is absent!
Regarding the main course ( pekin duck ) still the same disappointment.
No real Asian flavours...
And the worst of this place is the awful noise which just makes you want to leave quickly.
You can't even hear the person you 're eating with! Even the waiters complain about that ...
Great food. The chef is crazy great. Decent ambiance.... a little loud for date night. Bench seating puts you in the conversation of your neighbors.
Everything from the ambience to the food and service was absolutely great! Very impressed and I’m a major foodie so that says a lot !
The music was pretty loud, but the food was great, especially the dim sum tasting
The food was excellent and authentic. But needs a lot more improved with the service, especially the staffs which set up the serving cutlery, they just threw the cutlery on the table and even hand all the cutlery to you and have you to set up by yourself which didn't match with the price tag. Tables are too close together without any space.
Awesome as always
Great ambiance, great food and fast service
Excellent food! Not that wonderful service
wonderful evening, fantastic food and most friendly staff. Thank you.
Really fun special venue. Waited 30 minutes after checking in for our reservation which was not so fun but once seated had a great time.
They kept pressuring us to order. We sat down and within 10 minutes asked us 3 times if we were ready to order. And the same thing happened with dessert. It really took away from the experience. We ordered appetizers, main course, and dessert - this was the worst experience I have had here.
Would just like to say that it was a little dark to read the menu
45 minutes waiting even if after with excuses and free food
Waited over an hour for our table
Great food, great experience , best food we had in NYC
We had a reservation for 7:30 but were not seated until 8:10. We were only seated at this time because my brother in law was asking every ten minutes and eventually said that if they didn't seat us immediately we would leave for the restaurant across the street. The food was pretty boring and nothing special. It was very loud. We could not hear each other and we are all in our late 20s and early 30s and used to NYC restaurants. Worst birthday dinner ever.
Fabulous as always... it’s my go to in NYC
Catering for the masses. Huge restaurant with a small menu so good comes out on a conveyor built. The service was good but the atmosphere and food was disappointing, especially for the price.
First time here. The food was outstanding and would definitely come here again - despite a very, very noisy place. If you want a quiet place, go somewhere else. We had multiple intercom messages from the Chelsea Market, a fire alarm - and even without all that, it is extremely noisy. That being said, the food is incredible. We got the chili rock shrimp and General Tso’s dumplings as appetizers. Excellent. Our entrees were the Black Pepper Beef (to die for) and the Sweet & Crispy Jumbo Shrimp. Our side was the lobster fried rice - unbelievable. Highly recommend if you’re into food and not concerned about all the racket.
We had amazing time, the food, drinks and service were outstanding.
Great food as usual, but we had to wait 20 minutes to get our table.
Great place, but the music was not that great. If your hitting the clubs later you wouldn't mind. I would come back to this place because dinner and staff was outstanding.
We enjoyed our meals overall. However, we found the service was rushed and that our server could have been friendlier. We have been to Buddakan many times, and this was a bit of a disappointing experience.
Amazing food and service. However would not recommend this restaurant to people with hearing impairments. We were seated in quietest table but still had trouble carrying on a conversation. To us, the noise distracted from the food. And the food should be savored!
We liked the atmosphere, the food and personal touch of waitress. BNice for a good meal with friends or business
Food was average for the price. This was meant to be our dinner treat for holiday but it didn’t live up to expectations.
Food, service and ambiance were all very good. They do
make it very dark, which can be annoying sometimes. The worst is the restrooms. They are lit with two or three tiny lights that shine straight down, and there are no lights near the mirror. You can’t see if you have food in your teeth, or anything else really. Your reflection is of your silhouette. If they’d add a few lights by the mirror, it would actually be useful. Other than that, it’s one of my favorite places.
Amazing restaurant. Bill came out to be cheaper than I expected. It was lovely, a little too dark but it makes for a more comfortable ambiance. Amazing food and service. Would definitely go again.
Always great food! New server and had an issue with some spilling but over all a nice meal
Great food! Loud, but exciting. Pricey, but worth every penny!! Loved it
My husband and I stopped in here for a couple drinks and appetizers on a Saturday night. The atmosphere is dark and clubby...a little too loud for our liking in the bar, but it is a very cool interior. Young, trendy vibe. We each had The Royal champagne drink and the dim sum sampler appetizer - good for 2 to share for $40. We really enjoyed it and the bartender (our server) allowed us to switch the two carrot pieces for one of the lobster rolls cut in half, which we really appreciated. The bartender gave good service and found the time to be engaging. The design of the bar is EXTREMELY poor for anyone sitting at it....to the point they should seriously consider redoing it. It is just a block of metal with no hangover top, so your knees go right to it and you have to lean far over to eat or drink - NOT comfortable at all. The bartender says people complain about it all the time. Really surprising that it made it past quality control in the design/functionality area. Other than that, this is a nice place for a drink to start the night and we would consider having dinner here, as well.
Excellent as usual!
Great recommendations from my waitress when finding something different to try
Long wait to get our table expected at 11pm
Very good place, faboulos food in a beautiful atmosfere. I'd like to came back tomorrow but i have to came back home.
A place to be in NYC
everything we ordered was overcooked. we ordered black pepper beef and prawn noodles which were both overcooked and under seasoned.
we also order lobster egg rolls which surprisingly had no lobster but shrinps in them !
the food was very poor but the ambiance was nice.
overall: never again !
Kept us waiting for one hour even with reservation. Had to return a cocktail, so bad. Music too loud, people louder. Food ok. I don't recommend. Over rated.
