We went for my fiancé’s birthday, loved it so much we went back the second night. Everything was excellent! Shrimp rock bao buns ( might be incorrect name but similar) are a must!!!
Went for our anniversary; great meal, great service - we had the ponzu chicken and wasabi filet and without a doubt two of the best options on the menu. Our server was even nice enough to surprise us with a happy anniversary glass of champagne at the end of the meal. Altogether 5 stars for this great restaurant.
Excellent as always. Food and drinks were fabulous.
We had one meal that was not good. We wanted to send it back but didn't :(. All else was delish. Love the place/ atmosphere. food and drinks too.
Never disappoints!! Consistency amazing!!
We visited Buddakhan Atlantic City this past Saturday. We were a party of 4, my brother in law and his wife were first timers and Buddakhan did not disappoint. The food and service was outstanding as usual and we all enjoyed our food immensely. Buddakhan is a great couples restaurant with a very laid back ambiance and the food is always excellent. Buddakhan is me and my wife's favorite restaurant and I highly recommend it especially if you like Asian food.
Place never disappoints. Everything is really good . The cocktails are a little pricey so we tend to skip them but the almond bread pudding is a must as is the shrimp bao buns and filet Mignon, specifically. Overall my favorite place to dine in AC.
Our Server Morgan(female ) was wonderful knew the menu by heart and came up with great recommendations.
We went for my husbands birthday and had a great time. Food was delicious and the service awesome.
Excellent as usual
Love the suggested price fix menu for two. A great sampling especially for first time visit. Waiter was professional and very helpful. Made my birthday a especially nice!
The food is consistently good here; better than their Phila location and better items. Can't go wrong with the Asian Caesar Salad, Edamame Ravioli, and Vegetable Fried Rice with Coconut Curry Foam. The Chilean Sea Bass and Wok Chicken were good though a little overcooked. It was a birthday and the tiny cake (about the size of a cupcake) they brought out was FANTASTIC. If it was on the menu I'd order it every time.
This location of Buddakhan is great. I have been to others and they were uncomfortable with tight seating, very loud and I don't think the food was as good. This buddakhans food is always excellent and consistent, service is very good and it's set up with side booths with curtains for more privacy. It never feels crowded. This restaurant is very beautiful as well. I love their prix fix menu which is a bargain for all of the food it includes as opposed to ordering a la carte. The wasabi crusted filet mignon and cashew caesar salad are always exceptional. The desserts are a real treat. Bite sized and very eclectic but always 5 star in flavor. They have a sample platter of desserts which is always fun and delicious. Would eat here every week if I could. I travel over an hour to get to this location and it's totally worth it.
It was excellent as always!!! One of my favorite restaurants in Atlantic City!
Had a wonderful lunch. Was running late and they held my reservation with no problem. Very accommodating to my son’s food allergies. Love this place!!
Second visit in 3 months and can't wait to treat more of my family and friends to the sensational dining experience at Buddakn. Our waiter Joel, and the entire staff at Buddakan was most attentive. Actually, they were perfect. The first visit I was with a large group of friends, seated front and center in the main room. Also know as the "Communal". This past weekend I introduced my wife and two others to Buddakan. This time we were seated along the perimeter of the restaurant. The ambiance was the complete opposite to that of my first visit. This time it was perfectly private and intimate. The table was draped off with elegant sheer panels with a mid-east flare. The soft lighting was perfect. Our wait staff was perfect. And the food . . . Phenomenal. I highly recommend that when you visit - Put your phone away, and the menu as well. Allow the chef and staff to show off a bit. For a mere $80 per person "They just keep bringing it". A stimulation of the senses that you won't soon forget. I would love to describe each delicacy in detail. But, I couldn't possibly do it any justice. I'm 55 years young and well traveled. My recent discovery of Buddakan ranks as one of my TOP TWO dining experiences in Five Decades. Put in on YOUR Bucket List. And if you're ever in Tampa FL . . . . Never mind. It's late and I need some rest. Cheers! And Thank You Joel and Team Buddakan.
The food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly, accommodating and great
My sisters and I take our mom to dinner for Mother’s Day, every year. This year we chose Buddakan AC. We had a wonderful corner table with a beautiful view of the entire restaurant. Our server, Jennifer, was absolutely wonderful. Not only was she attentive and friendly, but she was personable and extremely helpful.
Let’s talk food...
Bonsai martini, Tito’s, cilantro and lime with a splash of simple syrup. After sipping mine, my sisters and mother all requested the same drink! Scrumptious!! I downed three of them before our meal was complete and The only thing I regret, is not ordering a fourth.
I don’t know if there is any one word to perfectly describe our food, so here are a few that come to mind; Delectable. Creamy. Bold. Exquisite. Sexy.
We ordered a few app items to share:
Edamame ravioli, creamy filled pasta pockets, bursting with a smooth cheese with a hint of nut. *
Glazed pork belly, cut like butter, and literally disintegrated in my mouth!
Lobster puffs, had a lovely flaky fried exterior and a filling of buttery crustacean happiness.
But my absolute favorite was the wasabi crusted filet Mignon.... holy mother of God.... every flavor in this piece of meat, literally exploded in my mouth! I felt as though I needed a cigarette after eating it. * trust me, get it!
Executive Chef Kris Neff did an exquisite job preparing our food, we seriously couldn’t of been any happier.
Go to Buddakan. Your senses will be stimulated, your appetite will be aroused and your belly will be satisfied.
The seabass was really good. The ceasar salad can be shared by everyone at the table
This was our first visit to Buddakan after seeing it many times while dining next door at the Continental for Sunday brunch whenever we're in AC. We enjoyed a late lunch on a Saturday, mid afternoon when Buddakan was largely empty. The service was attentive and very efficient and the food was delightful! Everything that came out of the kitchen looked beautiful. I had the dim sum, which was quite good, especially the oxtail dumplings, which I'd never tried before. I was slightly disappointed that the lobster puffs were fried, but that was my own fault for not reading the menu carefully. However, they were light & airy, and the lobster filling was quite tasty. The coconut rice pudding with pineapple sorbet was yummy for dessert. My hubby loved his sweet and spicy shrimp entre - delicious! And he's not fond of this type of food in general, so that was quite a compliment! Both of us want to go back for dinner the next time we're in town.
Our server, Ashley, was exceptionally helpful with recommendations. The spare ribs appetizer was so flavorful and was more than enough for 3 people; the lamb chops were seasoned and cooked perfectly and accompanied by the most delicious Chinese eggplant; and, the sea bass was outstanding, so melty! The calamari salad offered plenty of raw greens and a nice dressing to balance out the meal.
Great as usual!!!
The service was amazing and the food just as amazing!
One of the best meals I've ever had.
Consistently excellent. We love the edamame ravioli. They surprised me with a small complementary dessert cake for my birthday.
Great food and service. We would come back! The tasting menu that was $80 per person was a lot of food, and was the perfect selection of foods, the calamari salad was so fresh!
Amazing from start to finish
The service was incredible. I always order my favorite appetizer which is the edamame raviolis! The crusted filet and sea bass were delicious! We will be back!
Amazing food and service
Food was delicious and Service was Impeccable. 5 ⭐️!
I just had to change my way of eating and the server was amazing! Everything was so delicious!
Went here for my five year anniversary and it was such s great experience! They also gave us champagne for us to celebrate :)
Awesome restaurant! Awesome food! Awesome atmosphere! I would recommend Buddakan to anyone.
I asked for a quiet table and we were given a booth, which was awesome. The food was very salty - I was gulping water all night and so was everyone else - but it was tasty. Portions are huge, which helps offset the higher prices. Too bad they can't "comp" the parking and that it cost us $25 to park at Caesars. Makes me not want to go back there again.
We got to Buddahan at 3:30 on a friday. We ordered The wisdom and Lucky Budha to deink. Both were great recommendations from our server. For our meals we ordered- 5 spiced duck (excellent), tempura vegtables(excellent), and the lunch special- dumplings (excellent), calamari salad (excellent), cashew chicken (pretty flavorless). The runner brought out additional food that we did not order. The server then took it to the right table. That is a little unprofessional.
It was our anniverssary so they brought out champagne and an adorable cake. we were quite suprised and enjoyed it thoroughly.
When it comes to Starr restrooms, it was pretty unexciting. Compared to anywhere else, it was spotless and awesome.
Our server was wonderful- lovely lovely evening
Very cool atmosphere, attentive service and creative fare!
Buddakan in NYC is very chic and the food is amazing. That was not the experience in Atlantic City. The food was at best Pretty mediocre and the place was very small
Always an amazing experience. I would highly recommend Buddakan on your next trip to Atlantic City.
