Buddakan - Atlantic City
Buddakan’s spectacular yet dreamlike ambience adds a new dimension to the array of destinations at the Pier at Ceasars.
Was seated promptly, service was excellent . We totally enjoyed our dinner at Buddakan.
The service was great. And while the food was absolutely delicious, it was pricey. Also, you have to pay for parking in Caesar’s parking garage as well. I feel the restaurant should offer validated parking if you’re eating at their restaurant.
One of my favorite spots!
Amazing food and service!
I took my wife here for her birthday because we had 2 prior experiences here and we both loved the food and atmosphere. Once again, they did not disappoint, food was high quality and delicious and wait staff was very attentive. I really love this place and anytime I’m visiting AC, I will be sure to come back.
Food and service were excellent! Went on a Thursday night at 7:30. Place was lively...speciality cocktails were great. We had rock shrimp steamed buns, oxtail dumplings, duck, and lobster fried rice. All were outstanding and would order all of them again!
Business dinner. We shared the Buddalan green salad - plenty and delicious. Mushroom potstickers were superb. Pepper steak stir fry for me was excellent. Nice Manhattans, too.
One of the best meals we ever had. I brought a very special team of people and they truly appreciated every bite . We did the $60 a person get everything in column A and it didn't disappoint
I went for my boyfriends birthday! The ambiance was incredible, service was awesome from the server to the host! Food was amazing!!! Would definitely recommend for special occasions. Overall wonderful experience.
The hospitality and service was great. The food was ok but I’m guessing it was what i ordered so next time i will definitely try something different. Overall great experience.
The brought all the food out at once - appetizer and the main meals. This made us feel rushed. Otherwise, the service was excellent and the food was outstanding. In the future, we will order the appetizer first, and after eating the appetizer, we will order the remainder of the meal. However, once we completed dinner, they did not rush us out of the restaurant.
The food was ok the service wasn't what we expected she was rushing us all the time
My experience was excellent from the minute we wakes in! The food was fantastic and the service was excellent!
Tremendous food and service. Without fail we had an incredible time. Thank you!
This is my favorite restaurant and I was extremely disappointed with my experience Saturday night. It was my birthday and my mother and I went to dinner at 8:30.. there was a large loud party sitting in the middle of the restaurant (no big deal) however, they were climbing all over the gaint budda, literally sitting in its lap.. everyone was mortified but not once were they told to stop so the rest of the restaurant could enjoy their meal. Also extremely disrespectful considering it is a religious figure. Our waiter rushed us, never even gave his name. Food was out before the drinks. Specified it was a birthday reservation, but nothing was done to make the night any special... if you don’t do anything then don’t ask while booking. Food was good but I’m very upset my mom spent the amount of money she did only to be treated like we were A. At Panera bread, and B. Like we were a burden to our waiter.
Great fresh food....great atmosphere.....awesome drinks
Incredible food and top notch service. Everything that we have experienced at Buddakan in Philadelphia was replicated in AC.
This was my second time here and even better than I had remembered. Great food, service and atmosphere. The ravioli appetizer was fantastic, a must have!!
Perfect as always. Consistently consistent
We did the tasting menu and we did able to switch the type of fish without any issues, very accommodating. We had so much food and each item was better then the next including dessert.
We are long time fans. Sadly the food took much longer than usual and the restaurant was not busy.
We love the quality of the food and service. This was our second visit. We ate here on our last visit in July. Buddakan never disappoints.
The ambiance of the restaurant is wonderful. We ate in the main dining room and loved the surroundings. Service was great, everything was explained and recommendations were on point. We were well looked after by our server. The duck breast was perfect, smoky with the unmistakable flavor of five spice. The Brussel Sprouts and Calamari Salad were both excellent. The one item that I wouldn’t recommend is the Zen-gria. We ordered a pitcher and it was the most expensive quart of ice I’ve ever had. The sangria might have been great, but who would know, having been so watered down by all the ice. Definitely avoid ordering it. Otherwise, it was a very nice dinner experience.
Great food great dessert great ambiance great service
Service, food, drinks and atmosphere all outstanding.
Waiter was rude. Usually I would never say anything but made the whole party uncomfortable by how abrupt and rude he was.
We were a few minutes late. I called them on the phone. They said our spot is now gone. Then they told us wait will be 25 minutes. After 25 minutes they said another 25 minutes. In addition they said, we told you the wait will be 45 to 50 minutes (not true). In the end we were seated an hour later. Not a pleasant experience.
Go if you can, you’ll be glad you did.
Great food. It was busy but the service was still on point. All good, as always!
The food is always great and our server was awesome.
Food was amazing along with the cocktails.
Excellent food!!! Ambiance was superb, waiter was very kind and curteous. The whole experience was amazing from the second we walked in until we left. We will definitely go back again when we are in town. Loved this restaurant!
Wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary while on vacation. We will definitely come back.
After hearing about Buddakan (NYC) for ages, I decided that their Atlantic City outpost would be a good place for dinner on our recent trip there. While I have no reason to complain about anything, I have no reason to rave either. Pork buns were fine, the filling of the ox tail dumplings was tasty, the wrappers fairly rubbery. We also shared the lamb chops and lobster fried rice. The rice had a nice amount of lobster, but the dish seriously lacked seasoning. Lamb was good, but not noteworthy, maybe the best thing we ate was the eggplant that came with the lamb. Unfortunately, the location is at the Playground adjacent to Caesars, the whole area was a sad ghost town.
The place is very nice, food is good, but the service was not good the waiter was not friendly, he even got me the wrong check .
Everything was exceptional. Highly recommend the edamame raviolis and bbq pork.
The chef's tasting menu is really great value and allows sampling a good variety of menu items.
