Buco Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
Have Jeremiah million times decided to give it a try. Was pleasantly Surprised. The crowd was a bit older but it was a great atmosphere. Singer on Friday night was awesome. We ate like kings couldn’t finish half of what we got and the bill was ridiculously cheap for the value of what we got. Will definitely be back again
Dirty carpet on the floor, sangria bad server in a coke glass, appetizer came uncooked inside and burning out ,mushrooms not fresh , meat uncooked, the main course completely without salt, the creme brûlée not good also
The only thing good was the soup and the bread
And we like the garçon
The food was very tasty and well prepared. Al dente pasta was perfect. Only issue was the salmon was a little dry for me, but my friends dinner was perfect. Fresh veggies too. But all in all its a lot of food for twlight hour specials in December $16.95 and all very exceptional. full 4 course meal was delicious. I would recommend Buco.
Waiter was not accommodating at all continued to forget that a guest had a food allergy. Your menu clearly states that you are accommodating with food allergies there was nothing on the menu that could be eaten that did not have Black pepper. The shrimp fried Diavolo was smothered in sauce. The gnocchi dishes we're not fresh at all. The overall food was room temperature nothing was served hot. The crab cake appetizer was still cold in the center. I have eaten there quite a few times in the past and was never disappointed don't know if there has been a change in chefs also your staff definitely needs to be reprimanded. No hospitality whatsoever they acted as if they were doing the guests a favor very disappointed.
Every time I have been here, I am never disappointed. I have recommended it to so many people. There is so much to try. Plus I love the live music on Friday nights. This restaurant would be wonderful for any occasion. The food is always excellent. And the atmosphere amazing!! Recommended.
Booked this place for my best friend's surprise birthday dinner and the food was absolutely divine. All 7 of us at our dinner table loved the food and the waiter was super friendly and accommodating. The menu has a great variety of tasty vegetarian dishes as well. We ordered 3 different appetizers and everyone got a different pasta dish to share. Every single appetizer and pasta dish that we all shared was phenomenal and tasted authentic. Great wine too. The atmosphere was wonderful and the live piano music was a great plus! Definitely will be coming back here again for sure! You will not be disappointed!
Food was mediocre. Calamari was tough and terrible. Zucchini flowers were tasteless. Pasta was good but other dishes were over sauced and merely satisfactory. Wait service was initially attentive but we had a wait for the main and then the dessert menu. We were unable to catch our waiter’s eye to order dessert so eventually asked another waiter to get us a check and then left without dessert. Room decor, menu, etc. are all out dated. Apparently appeals to the geriatric crowd.
My wife, sister and I enjoyed our meals.
I had the risotto primavera with chicken and shrimp which was very delicious, however the shrimp could have been a little more tender.
My wife enjoyed her veal dish, however she like my sister's veal cacciatore more since the veal was so tender.
The only thing I would change to your restaurant would to not have a liquor license and become a BYOB.
It has been a while since we last dined here. The food was as good as I remember. While the service was not bad, it was not exceptional either.
Here is an example...I happened to overhear the specials for desert being given to another table by a different waiter. When we were offered desert, no mention was made of any additional selections not on the printed menu. I had to ask about one of the items I was interested in and only then was I informed of it being available. Had I not overheard I would never have been informed of any other options. Somewhat disappointing being this is not a cheap place to eat. Overall we enjoyed our meal and will return in the future.
Food quite good; very large portions and moderate prices. We were there at 6PM, at which time not crowded or noisy. Not haute cuisine but very tasty Italian specialties. We especially enjoyed the beef ragu over polenta as an appetizer (large enough for 2 people). Service is friendly and attentive. Easy to reach with parking onsite.
I found the restaurant on OpenTable, and visited with my parents in honor of Father's Day. It kind of looks like a little hole in the wall, but once you get in it's a special gem. The food was delicious, and the service very attentive, but they knew when to give us time to enjoy our meal and drink our wine. I would definitely go back!
Poor service marred what should have been a good experience.
We have eaten at Buco's numerous times with good result; this meal was very disappointing. Dining with another couple, we made it very clear to our waitperson that we did not want to be rushed and, once the appetizer was served, to check with us prior to ordering up the main courses. We were assured this would be no problem. The waitperson told us to simply get her attention when we wanted the meal to be fired up. Unfortunately, immediately after the last salad plate was taken away servers attempted to serve the main course. We had the food taken away.
Subsequently, the manager/owner came to the table to assure us that fresh meals would be prepared; we would not be served reheated food. Confusion in the kitchen was reported as the problem.
After the main dishes were cleared two dishes were to be saved as leftovers. One came back without any of the vegetables that were on the plate. We asked for that to be corrected. Several minutes later the leftovers were returned, with vegetables. The server stated that he found the original plate in the kitchen and used those vegetables. Yikes! As those leftovers could no longer be trusted, we chose not to take them. A waste. The manager did not return to the table regarding this issue.
Throughout the meal (appetizer and main course) our conversation was repeatedly interrupted as waitstaff removed each plate as each diner was done. Proper serving in fine dining restaurants have waitstaff wait until all diners are finished with a course before clearing dishes.
There is obviously a need for better staff training in the front and back end of this restaurant. The food is usually good and we like the live music on the weekends. This experience, however, left all four of us with a bad taste and questions as to whether or not we should return.
