Buckley's Great Steaks Ratings and Reviews
First time there, but place was well recommended. Everything was perfect, my dates
steak was slightly under cooked and they took care of right away. Even got fresh
new vegetables and a free drink. Which more than made up for the inconvience.
Service was friendly and prompt. Food was impressive and atmosphere was also
just right. Would go again for sure
The food here is amazing. Perfectly cooked, and seasoned. Well worth the price as you'll savor every bite. 1 bottle of wine, 2 entrees and 1 appetizer = $215.00 before tip. (Just so you're not shell shocked when you receive the bill.)
The staff was great as well. I will go back, it's a great place for a special evening.
First time here by recommendation. Took my husband here for his birthday and he was very happy with his food. Have taken him other places that were highly rated before and was disappointed. Definitely not this time, a bit pricey but for special occasions, outstanding!
We went to Buckley's for a special dinner to celebrate our first Christmas together. We had heard good things about this restaurant, and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is located in a restored Early American tavern, and the interior was very congenial and cozy, good spacing between tables, and a quiet atmosphere conducive to talking privately, without overhearing the conversation of others around us. The waitress, Bridget, was outstanding, she had a good knowledge of the menu and was very helpful answering our questions. Great wine list and amazing food! Bridget did not rush us through our meal, but always seemed to be around if we needed her. We are already planning to go back to try other items on the menu!
Price-wise it is a bit on the expensive side, but quality of food and service it was well worth it.... We would have liked to hear Christmas music during our meal...there was very quiet music playing but not sure if it was Christmas or not.
Overall an excellent experience for us both! Definitely win be going back....
We always get a great meal here. The staff is very attentive without being intrusive. This experience was no exception, the waitress had several parties including a fairly large one and she managed to balance it all without seeming frazzled or leaving any one party ignored. Everything here is top notch. The quality of the meat and the sides are outstanding and could comepete with any of the top steak chains (mortons, capital grille, etc.)!
Our meals were outstanding. Though the restaurant was very busy (Thursday) our server was attentive and out drinks and meals came out after a decent wait.
I always say the sign of a good restaurant is that the meal - all components of it come to the table hot and ours were piping hot. I had the beef stroganoff - it was superb in every way. The husband had the filet mignon which was cooked to his liking. And our third party had cider gazed salmon. He said the brussel sprouts and spatzle were to die for and the salmon was crispy and perfectly cooked.
Though it is a touch expensive - $180 for three - it was worth the cost and we will be back soon for more scrumptious meals.
My meal was not correct with the exception of the mashed potatoes. I asked for green beans got asparagus Asked that my stake not have pink and well it was very red so I guess they did not give me pink. I asked that my plate not be wet with sause and I had to replate it at the table. So overall a big fail for Buckley’s
Recently dined at Buckley’s for a dinner with friends. We have visited the past few years and luckily this great find hasn’t changed a bit. Though the dinners can be a bit pricey, the meal is large where even taking home leftovers is the norm. The quality of food was excellent, and our server was pleasant and knowledgeable. We of course will be back when we visit the area again. Don’t miss out on a great place to eat.....but don’t forget to make a reservation......this place gets very busy during peak hours!
Arrived early for our reservations but they sat us right down in a perfect location.
Service was prompt and accurate.
Had the prime rib and it was perfect.
The only thing I would like to see is more by the glass wine selection.
The desert selection is better than the last time we were there.
