Not impressed. The appetizer baked oysters tasted like a puddle of butter. The server talked up a nice spicy flank steak, so i ordered it. 15 minutes layer she comes back and says chef mis counted and they were out. It was only 7:00pm. She said chef is really sorry and will take care of you. Not sure what that meant because nothing was comped and the steak i ended up ordering was way over cooked. Asked for medium came out with no pink. For a steak house i was more than surprised. Mashed potatoes were bland. My wife was not impressed with here steak either although was cooked perfectly just boring. The rooms were echoey and we could hear every conversation as if we were at their table. Server seemed distracted or inexperienced . .........i will say the blueberry crisp was amazing. Just not gonna go back for just that......its a shame because i love Surf and MTs

This was our third time visiting Buckley's, and each time has not disappointed. Each time I have ordered the filet, and it was been so tender and such an amazing flavor. Even two days after, the flavor was still there. I highly recommend Buckley's!

We went for Valentine's day dinner with our 11 year old son instead of our usual resort getaway. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly! We got fresh breads to start, baked oysters, and the parmesan truffle fries for apps and they were both amazing! My husband had the Cowboy steak which was huge (Highly recommend)! I had the Surf & Turf-Filet Mignon with 1 1/4 lb. lobster shucked. My son had the 8 oz. Filet Mignon. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and very friendly. I will definitely go back and recommend to friends!

Nice place. The noise level wasn’t too bad. We had a large group seated next to us. The prime rib was over cooked so we could not get in a medium and went with a rib eye. A nice meal, but not worth the money. Two people, no drinks $140!

The food was excellent as always! We had a Tuna Poke appetizer that was fabulous, and the rubbed rib eye with risotto special that I ordered was delicious and perfectly cooked.

The wine list is fairly pedestrian, but pricey with average bottles running 3X the retail price versus 2X at competing restaurants.

Buckley's is still one of my favorite places for a special occassion!

Rather disappointing Valentine’s dinner. We were seated between two doors and in a room (with a 9 PM seating) with a crying baby. Food was mediocre. French Onion soup had a unique cheese which was good. Salad was off (not fresh), hamburger was small but acceptable, steak was grissly especially for a $40 steak.

We opted not to finish our nice bottle of wine not get desert due to the ambiance.

Absolutely superb dining at this wonderful treasure in Merrimack! My wife and I shared the Valentine special chateau briand and it was mouthwatering meat along with great creamy whipped potatoes and a mixture of grilled mushrooms and asparagus - delectable!!

Steaks are always cooked to perfection, always tender and flavorful. I happened to order
the 'Surf and Turf' - the menu says the dish comes with a 1 and a quarter pound 'shucked lobster' - when the dish arrived I only found 1 lobster tail split in 2 nicely drizzled with a butter
sauce - I have no idea where the rest of the lobster meat ended up - but clearly it was not on
my plate. Other than that, overall the dinner was wonderful as always at this restaurant. Service as always was impeccable. Things did move along on the slow side but it was a full house so we were okay with that. We do enjoy the warm and comfortable atmosphere - so staying a little longer than expected is not an issue.

I had the twin pepper crusted petite filet. It was perhaps the most tender filet I've had in a long time. I liked the garlic demi-glace better than the béarnaise cut. I thought it was more tender and flavorful. The creamy mashed potatoes were excellent. I rarely eat mashed but enjoyed every bite of these.

I had a glass of Federalist Cabernet Sauvignon with it. It was a very good not too expensive wine that paired well with the filet.

My Wife had the beef tip stroganoff which was excellent. It was true comfort food with top shelf ingredients. Every bite was creamy and flavorful. The beef tips were just about as good as the filet. Definitely not your run of the mill beef stroganoff for sure.

For desert we shared a small heart shaped chocolate desert. I was like a firmer chocolate mousse on top of a red velvet cake slice. Very good and the portion size was just right when you don't have room for a whole desert but just want a taste of something sweet to finish off the meal.

We sat upstairs which I find to be quieter and a tad more intimate setting.

We really enjoy coming here when we're in the mood to splurge a bit.

I had never been here before, but heard about how great a restaurant it was. It definitely lived up to the hype. Every bite of my steak was delectable. I wish every meal was as amazing as the one I had at Buckleys.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at Buckley’s. Service was very friendly, and the food was all prepared to our liking. Would definitely recommend to a friend and plan on returning soon!

The food was absolutely amazing. It is a little pricey but it is a great place to celebrate a special occasion. We split the 26oz cowboy steak, it was so tender and juicy. The red wine save was delicious, the mashed potatoes so smooth and creamy, the cream spinach was amazing. I had the French onion soup, best I have ever had. My husband had the Caesar salad with the anchovies, he could nnow it stop raving about how good the anchovies were, he brought them home. The charcuterie board was amazing. We each had martinis, again amazing. I highly recommend the Buckley Cosmopolitan. I can't say enough how much I truly enjoyed the meal. My husband even surprised me with a creme brulee for my birthday, again amazing, so rich creamy and smooth.

The restaurant is beautiful! Set up like in an old colonial with so many original features. The lighting was dim and ambient. The bar area was a little small and not much place to stand when waiting for a table. I would absolutely recommend Buckley’s for dinner. The steak was nothing less then amazing!

Also I requested a pain killer cocktail and it was delicious!

Well came here because of a poor experience at Michael Timothy’s in Nashua with a gift certificate they gave as an apology....very classy I must say thanks

This place was good ....my steak was very good...my wife’s prime rib was over cooked so disappointing....It’s quite expensive here so keep as special occasion unless your not concerned

Excellent Birthday dinner from start to finish. Appetizers: oysters and shrimp cocktail; entrees: filet and prime rib, cooked exactly as ordered-perfectly medium rare, melt in your mouth, sides included grilled asparagus and broccolini. Mashed potatoes needed a little more creaminess, but it didn’t take away from the overall meal. Dessert: blueberry cobbler and chocolate layer cake, both with vanilla ice cream and deliciously decadent- amazing finish to a wonderful meal. With cocktails, apps, steaks and dessert, Buckley’s is pricey, but totally worth it for a special occasion. Looking forward to our next visit to be sure.
