Only my second time there. The waiter was awesome for the first half or so and then just dropped off of the planet. He would glance our way in a millisecond but not check in. The cab I ordered was outstanding but I went close to 20 minutes waiting for another. Just odd as he was killing it in the beginning. And, I hate to say this but the NY strip just had too much gristle, etc. I had to trim away like crazy and it just wasn't what I was expecting. It was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor and texture. The veggies and mashed potatoes were outstanding however. I hope this helps. My wife was crazy about her filet. I tried a bit and it was fantastic.

Sauce on veal tomahawk little salty and masked the delicious flavor of veal. Fabulous portion meat. Escargot small, tender delicious. Too much butter which detracted from escargots. Will definitely return and request reduction in sauces and butter. Carsar salad had a mustard flavor. That being said, others who ordered same as myself, loved their dishes. So, it's a personal preference. Sadly, too full for desert and will starve in future before dining here.

Yum! I always get the Oscar filet with extra vermouth Demi glacé. The meal Comes with a salad, choice of potato and vegetable of the day. More than enough food. My favorite steakhouse in Richmond.

Everything about the experience was phenomenal. You are greeted by a friendly and professional front of house staff. We had a reservation and they were right on time with having us seated. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Attentive service but they allow you to have time to enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. The steaks were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. Sides were all fantastic! No negatives to think of, this was a great experience and an extremely well-run restaurant! While it's on the pricier side, you get generous portions and leave full.

Delightful experience. Scallops were superb, as were the escargots. My surf and turf special was delicious, and the meat beautifully rare! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his cowboy steak. Baked potato and vegetables were precisely done. Birthday treat chocolate squares was scrumptious, as was my husband’s warm pecan pie a la mode! We will be back!

Wonderful meal. Atmosphere is a rarity: you can actually have a conversation at your table! No background music! Seriously, I didn't know there were places left where you could actually hear silverware rattling any more. That alone is worth every penny. Most patrons, however, dressed as if going to Red Robin rather than to a white tablecloth establishment. That's sad. $100+ for your meal and you're in shorts. But I guess if they enforced a dress code the tables would be empty.

As always, Buckhead’s does not disappoint! Wonderful service, great ambiance and the best steaks in town. I ordered the Filet and Crab which was medallions of filet covered in jumbo lump crabmeat. It was done to perfection, side of loaded baked potato and came with a salad choice. My companion and I ordered 2 additional sides, the creamed spinach and the star of the show… mushrooms. We finished off our meal with the chocolate terrine with a side of raspberry sauce! We a great meal with tons leftover for lunch. The prices are not cheap but given that 2 average sandwiches can be almost $50 these days it is most certainly worth it!

This was our first time eating at Buckheads , it was my husband’s birthday and I wanted to take him somewhere special. Buckheads was definitely the place! The food and service was superb, one of the best steaks I’ve eaten in a long time. It was a little wait but it was well worth it! The steak was so tender and very well seasoned and even the vegetables were good. The overall experience was wonderful! We definitely will be repeat customers 🙂

Buckheads is always a great meal. My fiancee and I both had the filet and it was phenomenal. It's truly an excellent and indulgent meal. Everything comes out hot and is house made. The cost is justified for a special occasion and I love coming here
