   Everything was excellent except for the service. The waitress had to be new on the job and needed more training. She got one of the two orders completely wrong and seemed to forget our table often. When the correct order arrived I had finished and ordered a glass of wine while my wife eat. The wine did not show up on the table for 20 minutes; my wife had finished by then. The manager was helpful in trying to correct the problem although he seemed to have problems at other tables at the same time. We were there for2+ hours.

   Our meal was one of the best we have had at this restaurant. The strip steak was perfectly cooked and the veal meatballs and spaghetti was delicious. Chad was a great waiter and that makes all the difference.

   Everyone was nice. The wine was stale but they opened a new bottle so I can have a glass. The food was mediocre ambience was great

   The “fresh fish” was frozen cod, over cooked and had to be returned. The service was great and ambiance is definitely unique. I’d just avoid the seafood options.

   The Buckhead Diner has been around for many years and consistently has quality food a reasonable prices. The Sea Bass Hong King style is great as well as the long standing meatloaf dinner. We like the fact that we can requested priority seating via Open Table.

   The service was terrible, the food took over an hour to arrive and was not very good, never got refills, had to hunt down the server for the check. All in all, pretty bad experience.

   When we arrived there was no wait at all so that was great. Our server was outstanding, making recommendations based on our questions (first time there). Where things went downhill was when the salad was served with brown in the lettuce and visible mold on the cheese. When we showed our server, she left the salad there and sent a "manager" over. The "manager" did NOT introduce himself. He looked at the salad, said "thank you for bringing that to our attention" and can I get you another one (uhhh NO) then he walked away. No apology, no nothing. It took asking THREE people for bread - it's like once the salad was brought to their attention no one cared that we were there. I was very disappointed as I had really been looking forward to going.

    I enjoy eating at Buckhead Diner although on Sunday I found service a bit too slow. We decided against ordering dessert because of the slow service during lunch (we went to a different restaurant for dessert). The double patty melt was yummy, and my sister enjoyed the salmon blt. and the homemade chips. I will be back again, as usually the service is excellent and the servers are friendly.
