Great food and atmosphere, but bad service. We never received our appetizer. Our water glasses never got refilled. Also, the waiter never stopped by to check on us or ask us if we wanted a second round of drinks, which we did.
Food was ok,veal meatloaf which I used to love was just average! Bread took too long to come out,
Strawberry Shake was Awesome but serving size very small especially for 5.75,Server Hendrick was very good, parking valet was excellent also.
Delightful, as always.
The service was great, the food selection was good, the restaurant was packed but didn't seem to matter, everyone made sure we were taken care of. I would put this as one of the top restaurants in the Atlanta area.
Wonderful meal with friends
Always consistent. So glad they brought those delicious corn muffins back!!
lovely evening with Midwestern friend she loved the southern touches
Great time! Waiter was awesome, great personality!!!
Very good service, very wholesome food served ad attention to detail. Waiter recommendations were very good. Wwe will come again for dinner again soon.
I have never been to Buckhead Diner for brunch so we decided to have a friends brunch get together. Great grilled cheese and tomato soup option. Lots of good options for both breakfast and lunch go-ers.
My husband and I were visiting our son at Emory and we wanted to take him and two friends out for a nice dinner. This was a great spot - nice atmosphere with good food, lovely service. "Diner" is a misnomer - this is a nice restaurant
The service was horrible , never brought anything to drink unless we asked for.! And it took them forever to bring something
Excellent service!!!
Our server (can't remember her name but she was from Michigan) was great and very attentive. Great food and awesome service from all who stopped by the table.
My husband loves the food at Buckhead Diner.
Especially fish choices and salads
Everything was perfect. Food was delicious!
Great spot for a date night with my 4 year old granddaughter!
Good experience with good food, order got mixed up a little and our guest meal was incorrect.
Always consistent and I love it
Buckhead Diner is as wonderful now as it was when it opened in 1989 - I know, I was there. Understated class, delishious food, excellent staff and classic decor. I love this place.
I had dinner at Buckhead Diner 20 years ago and was impressed by the innovative menu. 20 years later, I am still impressed. The food was fresh and exciting. The service from Hendrick was top notch. This may be one of the first urban hipster restaurants but it still offers excellent food and great service.
Buckhead diner is a solid choice always. I enjoyed my lunch date with a good friend and we were pleased . The waitress was a cute friendly lady that did a fine job. I must comment that the entrance is looking a bit tired though.
Immediate seating with priority seat booking, friendly, knowledgeable server, great food as always. Had the mixed green salad with fried goat cheese (delicious), I had the always fabulous fried chicken. My husband had the veal meatloaf (raved about it) & our friend had the crab cakes which he ate every bite. Unfortunately we didn’t have room for the award winning banana cream pie this time. Next time for sure!
We love the brunch choices
Priority seating, especially on Easter Sunday, can be a crap shoot. We were told when we arrived that it would be approximately an hour before our table was ready. This actually turned out to be a little over 15 minutes which was fine. That being said...the restaurant was absolutely packed and after ordering drinks (which we had received) we had still not received our food. We spent almost two hours there. While most of the food was very good one meal came out cold. Once again, this is probably one of the busiest days of the year but one would expect a restaurant that has been around as long as this one to be able to handle it. We will return but will not on this day again.
Easter with daughter, husband and granddaughters.
We had a wonderful experience at Buckhead Diner for Easter Brunch. The stars were aligned as the service was great and the food was almost perfect, except the poached eggs were barely warm for two in our party. I am giving them a pass on that as it was super busy.
Note to self. Never go to Buckhead Diner for Easter brunch. Even with a priority seating reservation for 12:30, we didn’t get to a table until 1:45. Then they were out of menus. Finally got our order in and soon the host comes to tell my husband they were out of the blueberry waffles he ordered. So he ordered an omelet. When the food came, there was the blueberry waffles. Shortly after that the omelet showed us. A few minutes later another omelet showed up. It was chaos for such an established restaurant. The food was good and the host comped us a round of mimosas but it was a complete comedy show. Just not laughing.
Excellent Easter brunch.
Went for Easter and was immediately seated which was great. That’s where it ended. Waitress took forever to ask us what we wanted to drink and we never got them until after we got our meals. We barely saw her and she was clearly overwhelmed but it wasn’t that busy. Had high hopes since we heard good things.
Kostas the host is a hotty w a body 😍
This was our first time to Buckhead Diner and we decided it would be a good spot for brunch for Easter. The lemon poppyseed muffins were really good . We both ordered omelets with grits. the grits were AWESOME, but the omelet the veggies were still raw in it. Then I asked for ketchup from the bartender as we saw our waiter once during our whole visit . I luckily poured the ketchup on the side of my plate and not on my food. I took a few bites of food and something tasted spoiled. Finally I figured out it was the ketchup . Service was awful. Our server was very stressed. I tried having some sympathy as I have waited tables for 8 years. But she was just not pleasant. I spent $65 on 2 omelets and a kids meal. I don't mind spending money when its worth it. Unfortunately this was not worth it.
Truly awesome food, Service and price.
Even better than the last time.
Our server was very attentive and friendly. We got in to sit right away with priority seating. We enjoyed the local beer. Decor was fun. I would go again.
This is currently my favorite restaurant in Atlanta so that says it all, right?
Enjoyed the Chicken & the Strawberry dessert - Great meal & Brian took good care of us - he is great on recommendations
Buckhead Dinner never disappoints...quality cuisine; classic dining atmosphere; excellent service
Food was great. Staff was lovely, courteous & friendly.
Only complaint was we sat in a booth, so when the front door open we we met with cold air.
Our food was excellent and so was the service!
Priority reservation does not do anything for you, the wait was still 30 minutes.
