Although the atmosphere and service were quite professional and accommodating, the food lacked sufficient flavor. Between my husband and I, we tried the shrimp spring rolls, the hanger steak, the burger and the creme brûlée. The hanger steak was sufficiently flavorful, but again, none of the flavor profiles in these dishes would persuade us to choose Buckhead Diner over the wealth of other, better options in the Atlanta area.

Perfect dinner out! It was a busy night due to lots of events in town, but our food and service was top notch! Try the pecan encrusted rainbow trout and leave room for banana pie!

I ordered the sea bass and it was spectacular. It melted in my mouth. The blue cheese chips was great and enjoyed by the other guests as well as the spring rolls.

Living on it's laurels, I guess. If you are going to offer dishes from the other Buckhead Life restaurants, do them as well, or don't do them at all. The crab cake, Hong Kong steamed bass and the veal meatballs were all lesser versions. Service was sporadic, even if friendly. Drinks took forever. When the manager asks how it was and you don't feel like listing everything that has disappointed you, you know it is time to move on to other restaurants - even if they are Buckhead Life restaurants.

The classic diner look, the elegant wood paneling separating the tables, the chrome fixtures all added to the ambience of the evening. The food was very comfortable with their 30 for $30 allowing appetizers, entrees and deserts that have passed the 30 years test of time on their menu to be sampled. A bit on the pricey side but worth it if you are in the area!

My wife and I ate here on our way to the Fox to see a show. The service was good and quick. That was important because we had to get downtown for the show. Great atmosphere and great food. The coffe Cake dessert is out of this world!

We did priority seating and it was very crowded! They sat us within 10 min of arriving which was fantastic! Our waiter was INCREDIBLE and attentive! Food was tasty, well seasoned and comforting! Just what we needed after a long day at the furniture market for work! The decor was Art Deco and cozy! Highlights were the Cuban Sandwich , crab cakes and shrimp spring rolls! My vanilla milkshake was delish! Can’t wait to go back in July!!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful date and we recommend the chili spiced mahi mahi (it is not very spicy) and hanger steak. Also, save room for the white chocolate banana cream pie! It is worth it! The service is excellent and will be back! Our server really took the time to make us feel like guests.

This is the second time we have used priority seating. Both times we were seated almost immediately. One note: this was an intensely cold night. We were seated in the back between the bar and kitchen. Everytime waitstaff came through the service door, we got a blast of freezing air. Recommend requesting a seat on the the other end in cold weather.

That aside, the staff was wonderful, prompt, accurate, and thoughtful. Every response was either "my pleasure", "of course" or "thank you". Never did we hear "no problem". The food was warm when served and delicious. The wine selection was good, not overpowering, and the wait staff informed about the selections. Food was served soon after ordering. Valet parking was quick and careful.

We like Buckhead Diner when we want a nice meal but have to be on time for a later event. They always deliver, and it's uniformly satisfying.

We had a great meal. My parents had cod and chips and I had meat loaf - which really did melt in your mouth.

Unfortunately we got an arctic blast each time someone came into or left the restaurant so we needed to cover our legs with coats and didn’t stick around long.

I can count on the BHD. It's always a great experience with great service and yummy meal. Always always always save room for dessert. Order the white chocolate banana cream pie and something else. I don't care if it's just a bite - blissful.

We had a great time here. The food was excellent. It was very busy and also New Years Eve so the service was a little slow but everything was worth the wait. We will definitely be back!

This has been a go to place for us. We were so disappointed this time. The experience started with a dirty wine glass at the bar and went downhill from there. The shrimp and grits my husband ordered was more like shrimp soup. When they brought him something else that we asked them to select, it was better but not by much. My entree tasted like glue. Definitely not going back.

Noise level too loud. Tables too close together. Asked for round 6 person booth and was led to middle of the room table when the booth was available so had to point it out that I had requested it.

Fried chicken was listed on receipt list of orders as Pan Seared Chicken so was a little confusion we had to ask about. Soup was served cold.

Must have been an “off” day for an establishment that usually provides a great experience. The sewage in the bathrooms were backed up, causing the entry, waiting area, and front dining area to smell something awful. The hostess was in a foul mood (probably from the smell she had to stand in the center of). Most of the food was decent, but each plate had something minor wrong. For what we paid, this was a very unpleasant experience.

Never going back. The appetizer (chips and blue cheese) was underwhelming to say the least - literally just chips and blue cheese on a plate, nothing else. There were three of us, and one person's entree came out 25 minutes after the other two. By the time her feed came, ours was cold and unappealing.

My food was sort of cold and Although I thought it tasted “ok” I expected allot more than that from the Buckhead Diner. The value certainly wasn’t there in my opinion when you take into account the price. If you are going to pay a little more for your food you would expect that it would be better than average. I would even say that the food was just mediocre at best

The food was awesome as usual, (Calamari is my fav) the staff was extremely accommodating, fitting all 11 of us at one table. Lauren, our waitress had 11 people simultaneously giving her instructions about their orders, but she handled it very well. My children had never been to Buckhead Diner and I was very proud that they enjoyed it so much! We will definitely do it again. I highly recommend it for any occasion.
