Lunch was delicious. Great variety of items to choose from. Service very good and attentive to our needs. Quiet day due to snow storm so probably not a good indication of usual noise level. Celebrating a birthday and the special and complimentary dessert was a nice touch. Valet service also tops and most welcome on such a nasty day!

Consistently good food, fresh and served hot. Good desserts. Ample portions. Fine, caring waiters.

Great, central place to meet Atlantans from all over metro & perimeter. However, the wait staff seemed off their game that night. Food was delicious.

Our dinner was good, and the atmosphere terrific! There was way too much ‘sherry butter’ on my (lightly fried) pecan trout, which made it more calories than necessary. There is also an upcharge for substitutions, although the manager offered to withhold the extra charge - first class! Nonetheless, Buckhead Diner is still up at the top of my reataurant choices.

The food was terrific and the service even better. The restaurant doesn't take reservations but uses priority call ahead which we did not need due to the time of our breakfast the restaurant was not full and there were plenty of seats.

Our waiter Paymon, was AWESOME! Such a nice man, so welcoming. And he made an excellent wine recommendation! I haven’t been to Buckhead Diner in many years, but now that I know it is still a great place, I need to plan my next visit.

Came especially for the famous banana creme pie which was so good!! But we all enjoyed our brunch and our personable waiter Paymon who was very attentive and accommodating. We will be back when in Atlanta.

The food was great as usual, atmosphere awesome, waiter was very attentive, we celebrated my husband's 75th birthday.

My husband thoroughly enjoyed the entrée recommended by our waiter. We will be bringing my brother in-law and his wife next time. Keep up the good work .

Thank You

The food and service was terrible. There is only one vegetarian friendly option and it was ice cold when it came. No one came back to ask about the meal so I tried to eat it as I was starving. They did end up taking it off the bill but I would have rather had something warm that did not taste like it was previously frozen and bland. The award winning pie was so flavourless. It was a massive disappointment

Definitely the nicest diner I've ever been too, Super friendly staff. Same restaurant group that owns many high end Buckhead Restaurants. Food was good and came out fast. Highly recommend the Grilled Cheese! Chicken Caesar Salad was a bit pricey, but that's Buckhead I guess.

We were seated and ordered drinks which were slow to come. We had a waiter and then the general manager took our order. I ordered hanger steak and fries and requested that my steak be cooked to a medium temperature. When the food arrived my steak which was sliced was so purple it was rare. I waited quite a while for an opportunity to flag someone to let them know it was not cooked as requested. I finally got up and walked over to a gentleman dresses in a suit who was either management or a maitre d. He came to the table and I told him the steak was under cooked and I had asked for it to be medium. He was defensive and kept questioning me about how I wanted the meat to be cooked. It was really uncomfortable. I just kept repeating "medium". Any trained chef should know what medium looks like. He was quite rude and made me feel like I was somehow in the wrong for returning my food to the kitchen. He returned with my plate and said it was really hot. They had pushed the pieces of meat around on the plate and put it under a broiler or something. It was greasy, black, and unappealing. I then complained to the general manager and she comped the entire bill. That was a wonderful, unexpected gesture which I greatly appreciated. However, what they should have done is offer to cook me a fresh steak and all of this could have been avoided. Only after I told them that, did they offer. By this time, my dining companions where finished and I had no interest in eating anymore. I just wanted to get out of there. I tipped the waiter on what I estimated the total would have been. My dining companions loved the meatloaf and the chicken parmesan, but the spaghetti and meatballs were bland and the pasta was overcooked so it was mushy. I will never return. There are too many other restaurants with great food and customer service.

A very southern experience. Our server was great, he had been in Atlanta for 22 years and was very friendly and attentive but not a hoverer. The food was good however too southern for my taste. We tried the strawberry shortcake sundae and it was good but the taste of lavender was a bit much. However, I would recommend this place to people for sure.

Priority seating worked great. The "diner" decor is fun but this is anything but a "diner" - expensive and the fare was not what I would call diner fare.

Jessica was our server & she was wonderful. We actually arrived at 5 for a 5:30 reservation. Obviously the could seat us but the kitchen ran not like they had just started the evening but like they were already in sink. My date had the crabcakes and they came out very hot. I had the pork chop. It was at least 2 inches think. Cooked perfectly.
