Everything was perfect- our server was fabulous!!!
Excellent food. Portions are just the perfect amount. pizzas and desserts are great to share while.
I don't get it. This place is way overpriced for what it is. The food is pretty boring to be honest, even lacking in flavor in certain courses. I don't get what the fuss is. It is also extremely loud.
My wife and I chose Buca to celebrate our 2 year Wedding Anniversary. We were both glad we did. Our server was attentive and helped us to curate a delicious meal based on our tastes. Stand out for us was the Pizza with Burrata. Ridiculously tasty. We would go back just for that pizza. Everything we tried in clouding pasta with duck ragu, fish charcuterie and the fritura mista was well prepared. Be prepared for a larger cheque then most nights out, but a treat is a treat. Highly recommended.
Excellent service by Blake, great food, nice parting gift for the Birthday Girl. Other than being out of the kale salad, great overall experience!
Never disappoints! Always good.
I took my brother for a birthday lunch and it was special.I had the brochino row fish which is wonderful
the restaurant treated Alan. with a dessert and a take home dinner for th next day
Food and service were fantastic!
Was very disappointed in both the food and the service. Very overpriced and very average. Will not go back.
Exceptional cuisine. However, overall experience hampered by pretentious server and excessively noisy ambiance.
Service was excellent, food was decent for the price . Not a venue you want to book for special occasions because the lighting and atmosphere is most for causal setting.
Awesome service. The service team was kind, helpful and attentive.
The food was mediocre at best.
The appetizers were all lovely: olives, bread, artichoke.
I had the gnocchi w/ crab and really regretted ordering it as my main. It was banal.
It was not as expected. I think we were looking to go to the one on Eglinton which had a different brunch menu. I find there website confusing. Anyway we ended up at the one in Yorkville. Food was ok. Both my husband and I Don’t feel we would return to this one but will absolutely try another one. And perhaps for dinner. The pasta looked very good. But because we were going for brunch it was the wrong choice.
The meal was great. Service exceptional. One little complaint was lighting. Could have used a lighted candle on our table. It was a bit dinghy where we were seated.
It's a lovely room but almost empty for a Thursday lunch. The pizza was tasty but the pastas were very salty - and I love salty food. The Buca chain might have changed their food - I was at the King Street location recently and the food was also very salty which I've never noticed that in the past.
Awesome place for a fun dinner with great wine and food options. Staff was amazing!
Fantastic service! Thanks very much! Have a great week.
So over priced Staff was very nice though which makes sense as you are tipping $40 on a bottle of wine that probably costs $40. You are paying for exclusivity which is to be expected.
Love this place, they have nailed it. We have been to many restaurants in the city and struggle with, quality, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and have decided that we will be cooking at home and doing take out only for emergencies. The standard of restaurants in Toronto are abysmal. I have to say Buca is one of the two restaurants we love in Toronto that have nailed it in terms of everything! The other one we love is Jacobs & Co. steakhouse.
Buca Yorkville is a top choice for us. We always enjoy the experience - from the food to the service, everything is consistently above our expectations. Also, do yourself a favour and try the Burrata pizza at least once. You won't regret it.
Absolutely wonderful from start to finish.
Delicious food and excellent service, highly recommend!
Always great food/service, their pizza is probably my fave in Toronto (for thin crusted, at least). Efficient and friendly staff all around!
Only drawbacks are..
...the noise factor. Tables in very close proximity to eachother and almost no sound deading materials on the walls/ceilings means that it is always intrusively loud when dining here..especially when packed (and it often is)
.....Wine list. Somewhat limited selection of wines, if you aren’t a fan of Italian wines..be prepared to scramble a bit.
The “by the glass” wine prices are simply outrageous given the quality of the wines available...even when accounting for the Yorkville location.
Lovely contemporary-classic menu. Italian Village style dishes elevated to a superb degree. Pemium fish & octopus. Best menu at Four Seasons.
Never disappointed with the food, service, attention to detail at this restaurant. Always a treat to come here.
Pricey but unique flavors and delicious pizzas.
It was a most enjoyable dining experience celebrating a friend' birthday--so much so, I plan to celebrate my birthday there in early June.
Buca was good but if you're just looking for pasta or pizza - lots of other fabulous Italian restaurants for less money.
If you’re 1 or 2, go sit in front of the kitchen and watch the chefs working...amazing. Oh and the food was amazing.
Simply incredible, food, service and wine, well done Team Buca!
Great meal! Very good service and excellent food. Very busy for a Wednesday.
Great presentation of food and very tasteful. Wines are rather overpriced.
Hard to not spend $250.00 per person
Chef Mathew served up some of the best Italian I've had in the city.
My husband and I enjoyed every bit of our evening at Buca. The service was top notch and the food was even better. Can't wait to go again.
The only problem is the lack of WiFi. It is important for foreigners needing it when they enter in a shop or restaurant and spend time there
I was there for my Birthday and really enjoyed everything
Not children friendly place but the service was good.
Great service, ambiance and food
We had a great family dinner at BUCA before heading to a show. We were having a great time and hadn’t noticed that our mains were taking a bit longer than normal to get to us, but our server brought us some complimentary oysters to apologize for the inconvenience. And the Nodini was so good as well ... had to get an extra order of that for our table!
The service was awesome, the waiter was very experienced and efficient. Offered his honest opinions about the dishes which helped us decide what to eat. Overall it was a wonderful experience.
Waiter was weirdly creepy and on auto pilot. He asked us if we had allergies three times
