Love this place! Great food and great service!
Usually good food, the green Chile scramble is literally disgusting and I definitely wouldn’t order again. You can’t go wrong with chicken here so I’ll go back to my old fave next time.
It was some of the best BBQ I've had and that is including when I lived in Dallas.
I've been here once before for a live performance and this was my first time dining in. I honestly did not know they had a full menu. It was definitely worth the return. The entire staff not just our server were overly friendly and courteous. I ordered a half rack and they easily fell off the ribs. Their sauces were amazing and their Texas toast was mediocre nothing to special about it. We also learned they offer whiskey flights so we will definitely bring our whiskey-lover friends in.
Some of the best food I’ve ever had. The waiter was educated on the food , nice, attentive and did everything with a smile. The live music was a wonderful bonus. I would eat here all the time if I lived in Chicago. A must stop when in the area.
Love Bub city! The food is so tasty and we always have impeccable service! The Choose Two meat meal is perfect for sharing!
Great vibes at Bub City
Waitress was amazing. Took large group of customers for fun night out. Bub city is a regular visit when I come to Chicago. Highly recommended it!
The food is really good, especially if you had a few drinks the night before. We were there for Sunday brunch and it was crowded and a little noisy - no problem for us, but they have live music and talking at the table can be a little hard. The music was pretty good too, if your a country music fan.
A wonderful evening and got to sit outside. We had the two meat platter and two sides. Wonderful.
The biscuits and the cinnamon buns were delicious. I liked my cocktail which was the lawbreaker but my friend's sangria was terrible. The fried chicken sandwich was ok. very basic nothing else on it other than coleslaw. I would go and stick with breakfast options if I went again.
We had a great server who added a lot to our experience.
It was a great place to eat and enjoy ourselves
Great live music! Service and food fantastic as always.
Best Sunday morning destination in Chicago thanks to the world class Bloody Mary Bar!
Great food and decent live music and always plenty of beer to choose from
The food was average at best. The chicken and brisket were dry. No sauce at all. The ribs were average. It's listed as one of the best bar b q spots in the city and it definitely isn't. It was overpriced for what we got.
The food was delicious ! We made our reservation later cause we wanted to stay for the band. Second time we have been to bub city and both times very impressed. Service is friendly and amazing. 32 below rocked the house! Had a wonderful evening we will be back!
Slow service. Waited 12 minutes from the time my platter was picked up to the time server came and presented the bill. Yes, I had timed it.
Our server was super friendly and wonderful! Always great place for live music!
Fun brunch on Saturday with lively atmosphere and live music. The brunch is pretty good but recommend to stick to the bbq meats menu. Bloody Mary bar is a must if you like to make your own and is a meal in itself. Service is excellent.
Had an amazing evening. The music was as awesome as the food.
Great place for bbq and the lunch menu with 3 side options is awesome.
Terrible bbq. Burnt ribs that were dry.
The server was outstanding - very friendly and knowledgeable and offered great recommendations!
My colleagues and I needed an after work / happy Friday and Bub City delivered. We were all very pleased with the service food and drinks.
Thank you. We will visit again.
One of my very favorite brunch spots! Love the Bloody Mary bar and my breakfast tacos! Try the chicken biscuit with cheese!
First time back in a while and the food quality and value have definitely gone down. The ribs used to be the best. These were a very small half slab with little meat and very dry. Then $18.95 for a few slices of brisket with no sides other than a piece of plain white bread that they call Texas Toast? Def won’t be back for the food - maybe the drinks and some live music. There are much better barbecue places in the area.
Food was great and the employees went out of their way to take care of us.
Great food and service. Great food options for gluten free
Very bad food and surprisingly small potion for BBQ place.
Awesome place, very cool performances, great food. Will definitely come back
We are here during our stay in Chicago. It was close to the hotel and we were tired of walking/Lyfting... we had Classic Mac & Cheese for an app... a couple of tiny weak homemade whiskey shots... ordered a dull rack of ribs and 2 baked potatoes. The Mac & Cheese was the best out of the dinner! Ribs were sparse and kinda dry... but service was outstanding and it’s a fun place. Just not 5 stars.
Music was waaaaay too loud. Couldn’t hear anyone at the table.
Not only did we enjoy a delicious dinner, but we had an enjoyable visit and bourbon tasting with a knowledgable bartender. We will definitely return here the next time we're in Chicago.
Very good BBQ. Great Brisket. Would be nice to have the full menu for lunch.
Food came out quick, plus it was not hot nor fresh..
Great spot for BBQ food to entertain my clients!
Great food and even better service! Highly recommend for any occasion!
A favorite for brunch every time! Don’t go if you’re trying to eat healthy, but it’s delicious. Great country bands on Sundays beginning at noon!
