My first time there with my two boys. We all loved it and my teens said we need to go more often. The food was great. Portions were decent. Ambiance was fun/casual. They validated our parking so that was a nice surprise! We’ll definitely go back.

Worst experience I have ever had in any restaurant. We had a reservation under the name Ruh. I party of 8 that ended up being a party of 6. No biggie. We ordered drinks with our server. When she got to me and my friend, she carded us. I asked her if she carded the other ladies and she said no. She said she carded me because I was wearing a polo with a letter on. . .WHAT? You're going to card someone because of what they're wearing? No you don't, because there was a man at the table next to us wearing a polo and you never carded him (we watched). Fact of the matter is, you carded my friend and I because we are African American. And then the server had the audacity to tell my friend she didn't card, that it's unfortunate people take things that way. Well, Tina L., please tell me how I should've taken it. A table with 3 Caucasian women and 2 African American, and you only card 2 of the 5? Get out of here. You were rude from the beginning. Then came and asked us if we were hanging out or leaving. Clearly we're hanging out. It's Saturday night and we're drinking and eating. Then we had someone join late and you were annoyed she didn't know what she wanted to eat. She'd never been Bub City and wanted to see all her options. The only reason why I didn't say anything last night, because it was my going away dinner and I wanted to enjoy it and not make things awkward for my friends. Really disappointed in Bub City Management. How do you allow a team member like Tina to take care of your guests? We will not be returning. There are too many other options that'll happily take care of us regardless of our race or what we're wearing.

I wasn’t impressed. I loved all the lights hanging but that’s about it. The service was very slow for us but it didn’t seem as bad for others. The food was okay but nothing special. The bun on my BBQ sandwich was soggy and food was luke warm. Same with our waters, no ice just warm water in a cup when it’s close to 90 degrees outside. A bit disappointing to say the least.

Everything was great! We were running late due to construction, I called the restaurant and there was no issues at all. Our server was fantastic, we only have her last name I believe Burke. I hope she gets recognized Bub City is our “go to” for Thursday night concerts in Rosemont. Thank you!

We made a reservation for 8 weeks in advance for a birthday party and the first thing they did was try to seperate our group into two booths. Then they gave us a table but instantly told us that we had to be done in an hour, we responded that we would be there till at least 8. They then told us we had to be done by 830(Res was at 6pm)It was a busy weekend, but this conversation happened before we even sat down. With a reservation. It was very unprofessional. Besides that, the food was good. Bartenders were exceptional and so was the waiter. Our waiter was AMAZING. Overall good experience due to awesome bartenders and waiter but the hosting team that seats people need to be retrained.

My wife and I ate at Bub City in Rosemont prior to a show at the Allstate Arena. From jump, it was a haywire experience. It took 45 minutes to get our food. Once we did, my order was unfortunately wrong, so we had to send it back. It ended up being an hour before I received my food. We were told by the manager that the restaurant was cooking for a 400-person prom and that our service was affected by that. By the time we had paid our check, it had been nearly and hour and a half of mostly looking for our waiter, who was mostly out of sight. The manager was amazing in getting us taken care of with my meal comped, and that pushed this to a 3-star experience. Overall, I’d recommend checking out if there are any conventions in town before going to Bub City Rosemont on the weekend—there was an anime convention when we went, and the atmosphere was extra haywire.

We had a marvelous experience dining at Bub City last night!!!!! It was recommended by Elizabeth at the front desk at the Marriott O’Hare. The Caliburgers were delicious as was the Caesar Salad. Even though it was pretty noisy, we could hear each other & Bub City has an exciting & fun ambience.

First time at Bub's and it was a nice atmosphere with the decor and friendly staff. I ordered the nashville hot chicken and I was expecting the chix not to be on a plain hamburgar bun, it could have been elevated a bit more. 1 round pickle and a small amount of coleslaw. The chicken itself had GREAT flavor, but the sandwich def needs some TLC. Tator tots and Fried Pickles were very good. Thursday special-Patty Melt was good and tasty. Our waitress was very accomodating and friendly. I would def return!

We enjoy the location and the atmosphere. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Reservations are easy to make, and parking in the parking facility is validated by the restaurant. The wait staff work at a glacial pace, they are pleasant but there is no hussle, on refills or checking if your food is what you expected, if you need anything else, etc. The managers are great, they are definitely hands-on with seating, bussing, and serving and the food runners definitely move but we've been there several times and I can't say we've had a server that's more than good enough.

We love all restaurants within the Lettuce Entertain you world, including Bub City. However our visit to the Rosemont location was very underwhelming. There was a large group from US Bank sitting in the middle of the restaurant thst seemed to get most of the service. Several times I had to hunt for our server to ask for refills on water / iced tea etc…- each time I found her in the back either folding napkins or chatting with colleagues. Our food was lukewarm at best. It was very strange because I know how good BC can be so this was extremely out of character.

Very interesting... After we ordered the waiter told us our food would be served in 12to14 minutes. It came out in ten minutes. Never had a server tell us the amount of time it would take for the food to arrive at the table. Very impressive.

Went to dinner here with a friend before a concert at Rosemont. The pros: food and atmosphere was great. Our server was terrible, messed up our drinks and order multiple times and kept trying to blame other people. It took no joke 50 minutes for me to get a beer.

Went with my family on a random Wednesday night and were very pleased with the service, atmosphere and food! Booking a reservation made the experience even better, although the group in front of us walked in and were able to be seated right away. Highly recommend the Wednesday special, Bub’s Watson sandwich, if you like a spicy BBQ sauce. Definitely plan on returning again!

I reserved a table for my friends and I. First time for everyone else and it was a great experience. I ordered 2 orders of Brisket nachos. Probably the best value for your money. The waiter told me that they are getting rid of these and replacing them with the chilli nachos. Nooooooooo. This would be a huge mistake and disappointment. Add the chilli option but keep the BRISKET NACHOS. Also the waiter was cool!!!

The food is good but our waiter was not. He was trying to be funny but it was not helpful. This was our first time here so we had questions and he would rather joke than answer questions seriously. Read the room fella. I requested my burger medium well and he said he would see what he could do. That's not a tall order!? And then it came out well done. It sucks that he sucked because the place is nice and right next to Joe's Live which we took in a concert afterwards. I would try a different place if I'm back in that area as there are more restaurants and they all validate parking so that's not a great selling point. Also, read that they would walk you over if you had tickets to Joe's but looked at me like I was crazy when I inquired about that. Poor first impression. I would recommend but I personally will likely not return.

When parking in the self-park areas of the garage, park closest to the Aloft / South end spots, which are closest to Bub City & Joe's Live. Head towards the exit to the park, and Bub City / Joe's Live will be to your left (south end of the park). Valet parking in the garage is also available.

Both Bub City and Joe’s Live offer event and party options for groups ranging from eight to 1,500 guests. From corporate dinners and bachelorette parties to VIP experiences in one of the private rooms that overlook the Joe’s stage, the space offers a wide variety of entertainment for groups. In addition to in-restaurant event capabilities, Bub City also provides off-site catering and rents out “The Rig,” a mobile barbecue trailer that brings the barbecue experience right to guests’ doors.
