Bub City - Rosemont

Brought my girlfriend for her birthday. She had never been here and sohe oves BBQ. Well it was a hit she loved the place. We will be back for the live entertainment. Thanx again Bub City fior a good time.

Food was really tasty. Our server, Christine was excellent and friendly. She knew her menu, advised us on what to order and she was spot on. The bourbon selection is top notch and the prices, even for the really good stuff, are fair.

Our waitress barely waited on us- we had to flag her down several times and even when she did we were only allowed to ask for one thing before she cut us off and turned her back to us. She’s lucky we tipped her at all. Food was excellent as always! If the food wasn’t so good that bad service experience would scare me away from this location!

Not bad, but not great either. But if your looking for a very Broadway street in not vibe it's great. The BBQ was just ok.

We dined at Bub City because we were attending a concert next door at Joe's Live. Love the decore and atmosphere. They had $5 Old Fashioneds which were extremely smooth. Had a cheeseburger and the potato salad. Cheeseburger was great. Potato salad was good. For dessert I chose the Apple Crumble ala mode which was very good. Since we were attending a concert next door, they took us the back way to Joe's Live instead of us having to walk outside and stand in line at the door. Overall, service was decent, food is good but it's kind of overpriced. Probably would go there again only if I was attending a concert next door.

Our servier Ashley was outstanding. She not only gave us good food advice but she helped us get our music plans for the evening worked out...we were seeing a performer after dinner and wanted to upgrade our seats...she was great. And Robert from Joes Live was great also. They are great help. Nice employees make the visit better.

karaoke night was awesome

Very busy night but overall was good. Server was really nice but was busy! Kept up with everything though.

Everything was great! Fast, helpful service; food came out very quick! Good portions for a good price and yummy ;) We will return again.

This is my 4th or 5th visit. This place never disappoints. You can't beat the Friday $5 old fashioned special at the bar. My friends enjoyed the barrel aged beers as well. Love the Mac and Cheese - wish they had the brisket mac more often. My husband is really hoping they start adding fried bologna sandwich on the daily menu!!

After sitting down waited about 15 min before we were acknowledged we were there. They messed up 3 orders out of six and had to wait again until it can be rectified. Waitress didn’t apologize nor manager. When leaving and had my ticket validated the hosted asked “how was dinner.” I told her it was a horrible experience. She immediately said I’m sorry and that was all.

I love this restaurant and the service is normally pretty good. Yesterday, however, our waitress ignored us for the majority of our time and we constantly had to flag someone down to order food, drinks, to go boxes and the check. I was really disappointed with the waitress but the food and drinks were amazing when we finally got them

I already loved Bun City but this was my husbands first time there. I was a little nervous he wouldn’t like it because he is not a fan of country music but the live band was so good, it was impossible not to have a good time.

Long wait for table despite reservation. Excellent food!

We took my daughter and friends for her 17th birthday. My husband and I ate at the bar while they were at a table. Service was wonderful and Jesica at the bar was great. Wonderful cocktail fabulous food and service. Such a fun place to celebrate. Thank you!

Awesome before concert meal, it was slightly awkward eating on stage once more people showed up it was less awkward but we made it work.

I went to Bub City to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant itself is very nice. I was a little disappointed in the food portions. The food was also cold when it arrived to the table. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and he recommended several items on the menu. I will probability the restaurant again in the near future.

The food was delicious and perfect portion size. Great and friendly server.

Took utterly forever to get drinks - bar very backed up. Food came out in minutes though! Our waitress vanished for long periods at a time, despite us running a $$$$ bill. Still, drinks were good, food was good, band was good, everyone had a great time.

Our table was ready for us when we arrived. Our server was patient, friendly, and helpful. One of my friends is allergic to gluten and they have a gluten free menu to choose from. She was delighted to have a gluten free sandwich that was just as delicious as a regular one. I’m not a whiskey drinker but for those of us who are, there is an extensive list to choose from. A good beer selection too. Food is excellent. Everyone was happy with their meals. I definitely recommend and will gladly return to eat there

It was a girls weekend for us. Love the food and the atmosphere and the location is great.

Went with 3 teenagers and my husband. Everyone loved the food. Nice atmosphere. Prices were reasonable. Only negative was the music was very loud.

Went for our anniversary before a concert. Service was great and the food was good but choices a little limited. I had the 2
Meat combo with ribs
And wings and 2 sides and there was more than enough to eat. They also gave us some champagne and ice cream as part of the celebration. Overall a good experience.

Live going here before attending concerts next door at joes live , easy to eat drink and have backdoor access to venue but this time are waitress was very rude and acted as if we were bothering her everyone has a bad day I get it but we were very disappointed with her attention and attitude !! Otherwise love the place

We had a wonderful time, we stopped for dinner before a concert at Joe’s.
We were seated immediately, our server was excellent. He asked if we had been there before, we had and told him so. He told us what the drink specials were, and gave us plenty of time to decide what to order.
The atmosphere was great, everyone on staff were friendly and helpful.
The food was wonderful, and served quickly.
We will return soon.

Claudia the hostess was so friendly and accommodating especially since we were late to our reservation and I love the convenience of going into Joe’s bar without having to stand outside

Bub City was great spot for our Sunday brunch -- from the Bloody Mary bar, to the delicious bites and live music!

Wasn’t a fan of warm water. Plus server was barely around. Food was pricey for the amount you get.

Was visiting from Austin, Texas which has one of the best BBQ scenes in the world, so I was a little apprehensive about how this 'Cue would be. My wife and I both thought Bub City was excellent - nice to find great BBQ far from home!

My husband and I came here to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks. It was a Satruday afternoon we had reservations and it was quick service. I would recommend this place to anymore.

Had a great meal and truly enjoyed everything. I never understand why Open Table asks if it is a special occassion because every time I say it is the evening is no different than when there isn't a special occasion.

Good BBQ. Nice atmosphere. A bit pricey . Service was excellent. The wait staff was superb. Bourbon and Whiskey selection was amazing. Very trendy
