Wine Bar
Welcome to Salt Lake City’s first and only wine bar--BTG Wine Bar! Located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, BTG (By The Glass) offers over 75 wines in pours of 2 ounces, 5 ounces, bottles, or flights. We also procure premium and artisanal spirits for our craft cocktails. We offer international & local brewer's beer, a small bites menu, and the full menu from Caffe Molise to complement our libations. The upscale and relaxed atmosphere lends itself to an intimate date or a large party. The close proximity to Abravanel Hall, Capitol Theatre, Energy Solutions Arena, City Creek Center, and the Salt Palace Convention Center make the wine bar a perfect pre or post event venue. The bar is available for private functions, private tastings, and banquets.

Definitely a rough start to the night. Took a long time to get drinks or refills and we had to send our food back because it was cold. When it came back it was still wrong. We usually love this place!! once we did get our food it was great and Halfway through the service got a lot better…

Great wine list and excellent food served in just the right proportions. Moderate noise and not so loud that one couldn't hold a conversation with one's date. Thanks

Nice big booth which gave this girlfriends ‘ gathering some
Privacy. Our waiter was very patient. We were talking so much we couldn’t get around to ordering. We ended up staying for a great and shared a bottle of wine recommended by our waiter. It was a great evening.

Food was superb and came out very quickly. Waiter tried his best but they seemed very understaffed with only one or two servers on a busy Friday night. We were initially served another table’s food, and it was a while before we could get anyone’s attention to point it out. Once we notified them it was fixed very quickly and there weren’t any further issues, but staff certainly seemed very stressed and huried.

First time. Great selection of wine, not too outrageously expensive. Food is pretty good, disappointed in a couple of our selections though (either ratio or taste). Had a fantastic server, seemed knowledgeable and was super fun. Overall may try one more time.

BTG is always a great dining experience and their new location offers even more space. The wine selection is broad and one can almost always get just a glass of a particular vintage without having to purchase a whole bottle. The food is excellent and service great. While a bit noisier, one can still carry on a conversation with your table mate(s). We really enjoyed it and will be back soon. Highly recommended.

Great place for wine tasting - they even have a sommelier (Louie) who can make expert wine pairing suggestions. The food menu, while small, has sufficient options of quality Italian food (which come from the Cafe Molise kitchen, I believe). Great place for a lovely evening meal.

The place was so dark we couldnt see our food or the menu! The server was just okay. Our orders got messed up but was fixed. When I asked for the bread that comes with the meal the server got sort of cranky at us. Wine flight was good but not stellar.

Very excited to finally go to BTG Wine Bar! My friend and I went for his birthday dinner before attending Wicked at the Eccles. The food was delicious and I appreciated the opportunity to taste test their wide selection of wines. Servers were kind and knowledgeable. I made a reservation through OpenTable and it was no problem to push back our reservation when we were running late.
Thanks for the great experience!

We have had good food and service at BTG Wine Bar in the past, but not this time. Server was pre-occupied with a table of people more attractive than we are, we felt the sting of ageism (not unusual among servers). All that we could overlook (we do it all the time), but the server forgot our order, food that was supposed to be hot came out cold, and we had one dish that was tasteless and dry. We won't be going back for a while.

Arrived on a Sunday 1000 pm. It was a mellow evening and when we arrived we were informed only drink service. We had had a rough weekend with a death and my wife really wanted a cheese platter. The manger must have sensed her disappointment and made it possible to get a cheese platter and dessert! That was so huge and thoughtful! We had a nice evening!

Miss your old location, yet looking forward to new patio. Only issue this evening I ordered small plates as my meal and asked them to be served as my dinner, as my fried ordered from large menu. 5 minutes later my food arrives, his not until 15 minutes later. Lost in translation
