Lovely visit this with my wife and mum. Seated straight away - very good service and lovely food too. Had the fish fingers - which were very tasty (portion size a bit small though). My wife and mum had the special which was roast chicken / very tasty too. 2 glasses of champagne which was nice as you don’t often get it by the glass. My only negative is that the wine seems a little pricey! Other than that very pleased thanks.

Food was excellent, especially the fish. The wine complemented the meal perfectly. Desserts were great. Service was well paced and slick. Really enjoyed our first visit - we will definitely return at some point.

Windows in the Bistro were covered with seagull poo. Most unpleasant! We ordered the charcuterie nibble and paid £4.00 for 3 slices!! A silly quantity for a table of either 2 or 4. The wine we ordered originally was so acidic it was undrinkable , but was replaced on request without an extra charge. We were however told that we would be charged the full price if they were unable to sell it by the glass over the course of the evening. Starter and main courses were lovely but the rice pudding dessert was very sweet and not fully cooked. Seems to have been a bad day at the office as we have always enjoyed our many previous visits.

I must say I was disappointed with the food, I had prawns for starter and they were tiny and tasteless, for mains we shared a fish pie, this was also lacking in taste and was mainly mash potato and hardly any sauce in the pie, I had to season with salt and pepper to get some taste in to it, service was excellent
