It's hard to beat the location of this restaurant, tucked away in the park behind the New York Public Library. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The service was pleasant and attentive. The prices were typical for lunch at any decent Manhattan restaurant.

This is our annual tradition - the Holiday Fair at Bryant Park and the Bryant Park Grill for lunch. The food is very good as is the service. I had the Bronzino special - it was very good. Actually, everyone enjoyed their appetizers and meals. Lovely place to go at any time, but especially around Christmas.

Demasiado ruido!!! Pedimos pan y trajeron unos panes frios!!
Para un restaurant de esta clase, debieran ser calientes o tibios al menos

Great location for a pre-Broadway matinee lunch. Elegant indoor/outdoor space, extensive menu. Prompt service but not rushed. Fun to people-watch from the cafe or have a quieter more elegant venue inside the Grille.

The food was excellent, we had the Wild Mushroom Ravioli and the Pan Roasted Bronzino, both were excellent. The Ravioli was in a broth like sauce, not cream based so it was light and refreshing, and the Bronzino was cooked to perfection - a little crisp on the edges on a bed spaghetti squash - amazing!

I hosted a business/reunion get-together lunch, and could not have been happier with the location of the restaurant, the table assigned to us which was at the back of the restaurant, a bit out of the way from the main dining room which was nice as it was almost as if we had our own room. The lunch menu selection was excellent; there was something for everyone! Our server, Jessi, was attentive, professional, cheerful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the Bryant Park Grill for a business or friend get-together and look forward to returning soon!

Had a business meeting and a party of 6 and hadn't dined inside at BPG for a long time. It's a very beautiful restaurant in a beautiful location and the food was still excellent (we had the salmon, various salads and the burger) but the tables are very close together and the acoustics are terrible -- it was very, very loud and very difficult to hear anyone other than the person closest to you. Our server was nice and the service was moderate - although hampered by the very tight tables. The food came quickly. Birds do fly overhead even inside, but there was no accident in our case.

It was our first experience and it was a very pleasant and tasty. I had not expected such a large space to be cozy but it was and the welcome was friendly and efficient. One had the imoression that we were expected, a nice feeling. Our table was well located away from th entrance on a "banquette". The Calamars were excellent and with the before dinner drinks the crab cake delicious. Portions were substantial! The champagne was not very fizzy but the glass was generously filled and the rose was good. For our main courses we ordered Raviolis with Mushrooms and Braised Beef with couscous. Every dish came with enough greens or vegetables: this not only gives the plates more color but definitely a healthier and elegant look. Not of sweet tooth, we skipped desserts. It was a very pleasant dining experience to be renewed when in that neighborhood, busy ,yet quiet at the GRILL.

Always excellent service and food. Holiday time is especially nice as you are overlooking the skating rink and holiday market. Great for lunch, and drinks. For business meetings, it can be a little noisy, but once the lunch crowd thins out, it's fine. Make a reservation ahead of time, the restaurant is often booked for private parties.

Great location - Decent food (it's really the scene and location you're going for) - The biggest issue is the noise level, makes it impossible to talk without screaming. Big issue.

I had pork belly sliders which were okay. My SO had a salad that was good but the lemon chicken entree was subpar 80s style food. Chicken pounded out served with mushy, oily fries and a couple of lemon slices on top. Prices were not bad but not good for that chicken plate. Waiter was good but service from the kitchen was hysterically bad. Stone faced man brusquely offered one word (Pepper?) and was not personable or approachable. Ambiance was great - atrium in Bryant park I just wish it felt more cozy than a wedding reception set up. Wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend unless you miss 80s style plates of food and flavor (as in minimal flavor)

Bryant Park grill is a pretty standard restaurant for the several block radius around GCT: standard food, standard service, slightly above standard atmosphere, standard high prices. The service is always a bit disappointing -- never as graceful or sophisticated as the scene. But it's a solid business lunch bet, and it's a great location if the weather permits a short stroll around Bryant Park after. Don't rush to go but don't shy away if you need a basic, nice meal in that area.

Location and ambience is hard to beat. The Menu looks impressive but the execution needs improvement. Presentation is impressive, serving is generous and the spectrum of taste and flavor is a remarkable improvement from previous experience. However the charred porkchop whilst flavorful was hard to the bite and overcooked. the ginger shrimp appetizer has great flavor but the shrimp itself is rubbery - sign of overcooked, the cauliflower risotto, great flavor but watery - poor execution of recipe - poor prep of cauliflower hence the watery dish. I love this place -the location is fantastic, the staff gives great service .

When you get seated but have to ask for a waiter after sitting there for near 20 minutes, you cant expect a fun review. I was hoping for much more, being right on Bryant Park amongst all the holiday shops on a wonderful friday night weather wise. Unfortunately the soda was flat, and the ribeye I ordered was inedible it was so tough. I have never had such a poor piece of steak. Thankfully the oysters and crabmeat appetizer was delightful , wonderful lemon chicken, and desert took the edge off, but quite a disappointment to spend what was spent on dinner only to wonder how such a lousy steak ever came out of the kitchen

Beautiful setting, we sat in the closed in garden area. The food was good much better than average, but not amazing. Our server was excellent, but I didn't think the hostesses were friendly at all. All in all, good meal, probably wouldn't go back, sort of a "I did it, check, next restaurant please" experience

It was a last minute decision for my husband's birthday. I usually went there when I was a student in NYU, like that place. We sat outside so it did not have so much echo and the noise level was acceptable. It was a nice night with NYC light as back drop. Relax, great food, warm service. We skip dessert and went across the street to Lady M. Food is great and not pricey. My husband enjoyed his steak so much. He was so happy!
