The service was poor. I mistakenly thought that going to a nice restaurant near epic Bryant Park would be fabulous and the service would match. However, the server was not pleasant, we felt rushed and it was disappointing all around (in regards to service). We had an 8 o'clock reservation and arrived on time, or 5 minutes early. We were seated quickly and began our dining experience. But the server was so rude and off putting. Even when I asked for the bathroom, one of the servers did not even turn around to speak with me. Made me think that they did not like our presence. The hostess was great, and the food was good. But you interact with the servers more often then note and I was not pleased, personally.

We enjoyed our food very much. Great lunch and short walk to theater. Right in Bryant Park-always a pleasure. Service was good. It’s nice to be indoors but almost outdoors with all the windows.

Went for Sunday brunch, ate in the outdoor tented area which was much less noisy than inside, and just as warm. Food was great, service terrific. Would definitely recommend for brunch...looking forward to trying it for other reasons.

Brunch was outstanding. If you want a quieter brunch, make a reservation for 11:30 or earlier. We noticed that the bulk of the crowd arrived after noon.

We wanted something to celebrate our last night in NY. It ticked the boxes....America menu, fun location. The waitress was very helpful with advice, including GF. Pork chops were delicious as was the apple pie. Would recommend for a traditional, not too trendy night out.

Dinner before an 8:00 show. We sat in the gorgeous and festive holiday tent which was surprisingly warm and cozy on a frigid night. Wonderful ambiance, food was spectacular.

Brunch and lunch was not good. The eggs Benedict were overdone (the yolk was like a hard boiled egg). The scrambled eggs were disgusting...they are supposed to be scrambled eggs and truffled potatoes but instead they put truffle on the scrambled eggs and put some bland potatoes on the plate. The ravioli seemed microwaved as did the sausage. Service was bad to match. Coffee came, no sugar. Could not find our waiter. By the time we actually got someone to bring sugar the coffees were cold. same thing with our food, it took fifteen minutes to get the waiter to come over and try to rectify the food. And when we did show him the eggs were over cooked, he couldn’t care less. When we told him my daughter’s scrambled eggs tasted funky, we were told it’s the truffle on the eggs. I point out that the truffle was supposed to go on the potatoes, not vice verse, again he gave a shrug. At least, they did remove the eggs Benedict and the scrambled eggs from the bill.

My pork chops were so salty and they first arrived with the wrong sides. The tables consensus was on Food was average at best. The server was non existent when we needed him and hovering when we didn’t. Beautiful area of the city. I’m an executive in the hospitality industry and wanted to take my team there while the Holiday decorations were still up in Bryant Park. Very dissatisfied.

The restaurant was very nice, excellent atmosphere. The waiter was very pretentious and became agitated when we ordered something that was listed on the menu but was not available. We had no prior knowledge that the item was not available and he became even more put out when we asked if there were other items that were not available, there were 5 more.

Outside of the waiter, I would say that we enjoyed our experience at Bryant Park Grill and would try it again in the future.

My favorite dining place from November through December, with "tent seating," where you can actually carry on a conversation (not so much in the main dining room) while looking out into the glorious park.

We came up for the weekend with family to experience Christmas in NY. The Bryant Park Grill was near our hotel and a perfect setting to take someone special, or in our case, Grandma. It was decorated beautifully and you couldn’t ask for a better setting overlooking the Christmas Market. You also must make time to visit the NY Public Library next door. We are from DC and are used to large, beautiful public buildings, but this took our breath away.

Our server was wonderful, really personable and made the evening special. Unfortunately in spite of good reviews the food was mediocre at best. The yummy desserts are the only reason I gave this restaurant 3 starts rather than 2. It was expensive given the quality of the meal, but the ambience was nice.

The best part is the ambiance, great location right on Bryant Park. Bright and cheery dining room. The food was not bad, but not spectacular either, the chicken on the chopped cobb salad was dry and chewy and the steak frites lacked flavor. It was not a bad place, but I would not rush to go back.

Everything was almost perfect but maybe because it was the holidays the wait staff were very busy. We had to request for bread table since they seemed to forget to put the bread on the table. The pan seared branzino was yummy good!!

Great spot to warm up and grab lunch and a drink after doing the Market. A tad pricy but the decorations for the holidays, and the heat, were worth it! Everyone was pleasant and friendly. Not always the case in the Big Apple, especially around the stressful holidays. Would definitely go back!
