Bryant & Cooper opened in 1986 with big ambitions: to bring the top tier New York City "steak house experience" to Long Island. Not only would the very finest quality, hand picked prime aged steaks be served, but an ambiance would be created that makes everyone feel like they are part of a special private club. For membership...just make a reservation. Founded by the three Poll brothers with two generations of restaurant ownership experience, Gillis, Dean and George learned at an early age that the secret of a great restaurant was to start with serving the very best. That is why the steaks, chops and jumbo lobsters are selected on a daily basis, and only the freshest side dishes find their way to a plate served at Bryant & Cooper. Over the years Bryant & Cooper has received superlative reviews for its entire menu. The New York Times has proclaimed it the "best steak house on Long Island."

    was my worst experience at Bryant and Cooper in over 25 years. we were being rushed by the staff. server actually just grabbed my dates appetizer plate while i was still eating and 3 different servers tried to clear our Bryant and Cooper Salad while still eating and i actually had to tell them to give us a few minutes.the restaurant was extremely noisy and overall was unpleasant. there are too many overpriced steak houses for me to tolerate a $300 dinner for 2 where we were rushed out the door.

    The car is great. The dining room is a little too crowded with the way they set up tables making it not the most relaxing meal. I was disappointed in my server when I asked specifically if the lemon pepper chicken dish with boneless and he told me yes, and then it came out as like a half roasted chicken, so it was bone in. But the service was quick and overall, once an incredibly rude table left the rest of the night was great.

    How wonderful to go into a restaurant….havve drinks at the bar and meet new friends, then sit down and have an amazing meal!

    Everything is ok food drinks 🍸 and location the worse part is the waiter service. The one we have was very rude and it was my wife birthday I didn't wanna act up in there to mess up her day he want a high tip but didn't provide a great service. So as for me I will never go back i give them 2 star.
