They took forever to even give us a menu or for a waitress to come to us! Super loud! Not even close to what I expected!
Steak was over done. Normally I'd let that pass, but when you're paying 73 dollars for it, you'd except medium rare not medium.

My wife and I were looking for a special place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We love steakhouses and have been to most of the heavy hitters out here on Long Island (Rare 650, Black Stone, Prime, Tellers, Mortons, etc). We have been waiting for a special occasion to try Bryant and Cooper as it comes highly recommended. Unfortunately the anticipation was the most exiting part of our experience.
It was very busy when we arrived and we were happy to see a restaurant thriving again in these hard times. Our table location seemed like an after thought. It was up against a pillar right on top of the table next to us and my wifes seat was in the middle of the “walk way” where servers and guest kept bumping into her.
Our server came up, never introduced himself or wished us a happy anniversary, which was in our open table notes. Never even said he name ( I guess so I cant mention it in this review) Our wine and food came out quickly which we were happy with. Clams Casino we very good and the crab cake was ok. I got the 16oz NY strip medium rare which came out over cooked. Not a problem it happens to the best of us and they replaced it with a new one in a timely fashion. Second one came out cooked correctly but the steak it’s self was just mediocre. No one came to check on us in between courses. They didn’t seem to care if we liked the food or not.
My wife ordered the 12oz filet. It was cooked correctly, but unfortunately the cut was terrible. They used the very tip of the tenderloin where the muscles meet which has a lot of sinew and connective tissue running through it. It’s good usable meat, but most chefs and steakhouses would use this meat for sliders and tidbits, not try to pass it off as a 51$ center-cut filet. The picture I attached is of the filet before we even cut into it.
In my option Bryant and Cooper falls short in the food category and even further short in the hospitality category.
Food and service were good. Social distancing was non existent. When we arrived for dinner the environment appeared to adhere to Social distancing capacity requirements. By the time we finished eating and we’re leaving the place appear to be at 100% capacity. People were standing waiting to get in, the bar was nearly shoulder to shoulder. Management is more interested in making money then the welfare of their patrons and employees.Would not go back for that reason.
Again great food and exquisite service.
Overall good, not great. The chicken pallaird was tasteless. The restaurant does have a big selection

When I lived in the area I went here all of the time. They had professional waiters. Visiting LI for the first time in about 10 years so I made reservations for two nights. Both nights I had the same waiter, so unprofessional a big guy who didn’t know how to listen or what side to serve from. Put his elbow in my face several times while serving my quest. Guss the new owner’s do care because the attitude and work ethic of the employees really degraded my experience.

Everything was amazing. We haven’t been here in a long time, and it still does not disappoint. It has been a long time since we have been out because of Covid. They followed all protocols, our food and service were second to none. We will be making it a point to return more often.
Haven’t been in a few years. I forgot how good this restaurant is. We ordered seafood tower. Salads. Porterhouse and Cajun ribeye. For a party of 4 men. All excellent. Service was great. Will be back soon no doubt. Loved it.

We were welcomed by a courteous staff, led to a socially distanced table. Everyone wore masks. Drinks were great. Good was excellent! Simply prepared, served as per special instructions and very fresh!

Highly recommend Bryant and Cooper! Food and Service is “Top of the Line”. We had never been there before but replaces Morton’s as our “Go To Steakhouse”! Whenever I’m on Long Island, Bryant and Cooper for personal or business dinners! Will definitely have to have our next Family get together at this outstanding restaurant.
Like any Poll Brothers' restaurant, Bryant & Cooper is first class in food quality, service, atmosphere and now safety and cleanliness! And, it's wheelchair accessible throughout!

I had the filet of sole and it was kind of dry...

what is new is the COVID policies. I have been to several of the Poll restaurants, Bar Frittes, Tocu, Hendricks, Bryant and Cooper and Cipollini recently. I continue to be amazed at how and why these places place signage up about social distancing and wearing masks BUT there is absolutely no enforcement of the policies. I spoke to managers at each place they just shake their heads but do nothing. Honestly, you are NOT SAFE in these places. Even the owners walk around talking to diners without masks, walking through the restaurants with no face coverings... yet there are signs! I understand that they don't want to be offensive or confrontational with guests BUT they are being careless and disrespectful to those diners that do want to, comply with local and CDC regulations! Shame on them for allowing this behavior. I suggest we all avoid these usually good places until they take regulations seriously!
Had a good first dinner out since quarantine. Food and service very good, tables distanced, staff wearing masks, utensils individually wrapped etc.
Our waiter Charlie was amazing he was very attentive and made dinner suggestions that were unbelievable. A wonderful experience
Long-standing Excellent service and food.
This is my favorite steak house and the meal reaffirmed that opinion. Perfectly cooked cowboy rib for me and fillet for my wife. Creamed spinach is the best I ever had. The only reason I took a star off of service is because they started to clear the table before I was done.
