Prime Sirloin Steak
Food was amazing we had the porterhouse and lamb chops perfectly cooked ! Sides was very good hash browns very yummy
Very noisy and tables close together. Food and service excellent!
Amazing service topped by better foid
The cajun Ribeye is a must try
Great food, service, atmosphere.
Everything Was Awesome.
As expected, the food is simply prepared from the freshest, top-quality ingredients and served professionally. This restaurant is everything you want if you are looking for a tier-one steakhouse. We started out with cocktails and a half-order of their french fried onion strings to nibble on while looking over the menu. My wife and I both had salads followed by the 10oz. fillet mignon which were cooked to perfection and delicious. Since I am a meat and potatoes kind of guy our sides were the sauteed spinach and the corn (that's how we got to celebrate our 54th anniversary). Dessert was a piece of their banana cream pie (my choice).
This is one best places for steaks in NY.
Much better than Peter Lugers! Bravo!
The food was delicious there are many steak houses in that area of great neck in Roslyn but this by far is my favorite. Fresh delicious food and wonderful service
Been here many times and one of our favorites. But last night was horrible! The steak was chewy! I ate the Colorado rib which was
Big disappointment. Can’t get a table for 2 without being on top of another table. Nothing about your conversation is private and the closeness to other tables is downright awkward. Steak was unseasoned and filet not tender or flavorful. Hash browns not crispy. Super expensive. Only bright spot was the tuna tartare- up there with best I’ve had. Unfortunately, not good enough for return visit.
Great food and service. Too noisy!
Had a great meal service was perfect and my son had a great birthday
Our salads were wilted and tiny and came out wrong three times
When the bus boys give you better service than the waiters there is a problem
Also when you ask how much the 4 lb lobster is and they say $ 95 dollars and the bill says $ 125 that’s a problem too
Service was TERRIBLE
We had to serve ourselves they just threw the food on the table —are we at a diner ? I think not !
One more chance and then I will never go back.
Get your act together for the prices
You charge & get some trained staff !
I have frequented this place for over 30 years. i stopped going for several years as it became to much "the place to be seen".
this is however the first time that i had a bad experience there.
i understand sat is the night out but they are so busy that quality drops. i reccomend going weekdays
there were 2 main complaints
1- we love their mix of fried onions and home made chips. there were hardly any chips on the plate and those that were were very rubbery, hard to chew. i told the waiter to please bring new order. we got the same order that was reheated! even worse than before. we never saw the waiter again to have it reconciled!
2- i enjoy filet mignon. there is only one listed on the menu at $58 for 10oz. i dont eat that much and asked if they had a "petite" fillet. the waiter assured me that there is. When the bill came i was charged $58 for the fillet . i pointed it out to the waiter and was told thats the only filet they have and at 10oz he considered "petite". generally a petite portion is 6 to 8 oz!! i was too frustrated at this point to argue but felt it was very wrong! i had never ever seen something like that anywhere. had i been told we only ave 1 size i wouldnt have ordered that.
When we left it was raining very hard. the valet brought up the car but offered no umbrella. At these prices you would expect to see more professional and courteous service. it will be a while before returning, and not on a sat night
Great food, service and ambiance.
Jam packed on a Thursday night, great for the business owners, not great for a Covid. Tables are butted up against each other.
We were a party of 5, after waiting in the lobby for 20 min, they sat us and our table had a leak that was coming from the ceiling. They moved us to a new table after a few min.
The food is good, cocktails are not made professionally, perhaps they can’t handle the amount of orders coming in.
The staff is your typical steak house staff.
Very disappointing experience - food was sub par, considering the prices. But the worst part was that after specifically requesting a birthday candle on the dessert , the dessert was brought out without one… how awful did my guest feel when people around him were being sung “Happy Birthday” and his was not acknowledged. After noting this to the server, his response was non-apologetic in that he “was not told” about the birthday and he brought out a dish of half-melted ice cream with a candle to “make up” for the omission. The bill was not adjusted to grant us free dessert or drinks, as would normally be the case when a restaurant screws up… and it was a fortune! This, as many other NY steakhouses, rely solely on their legacy and make little effort to please their customers ( Peter Luger is even worse, which is why I did not choose to go there). The days of “good ole boys” business dinners have waned and there are plenty of other culinary options that are less expensive, with much better food and service. My guest remarked the same - his steak was not good and he lamented that the place seriously “went down” - he is a local. Never again!
The food was spectacular and the waiter was amazing
Excellent service and top notch meal.
My wife had the Halibut and it was delicious.
Amazing food, perfect service, nothing negative to say about this place will be back very soon !
Great food and service
Always great consistent quality food and service
Bryant & Cooper is the best steak in all of NY. Have been coming for years, the Cajun ribeye is an elite level steak!
Porterhouse was so tender. Amazing. Service was good. Tuna tartar also good as was wedge salad. Tables a little cramped for COVID.
We were a party of 5. Not the first time coming here. Steaks were all overcooked and no taste. Very chewy. Sides were not up to standards. The waiters did not seem to care about our table. Was it because we did not order any drinks or appetizers? Sure seemed like it from the facial expressions. Not happy.
Went for a a birthday dinner. Packed and LOUD on a Tuesday night. Ordered porterhouse for 2 and looked for waiter to guide in prep as far a temp. He looked at us as if we were stupid. Most steakhouses pride themselves on waitstaff providing that intel. Was near to impossible to get second round of drinks. Has planned to have a birthday dessert there but asked for check while still eating as we couldn’t wait to leave.
There are so many steakhouses to choose from and all better food and value . Take a hard pass.
Food was excellent. Highly recommend the Cajun Ribeye!
Great portions and great price!
absolutely the best raw bar anywhere!!!
Never ever disappoints. The cajun ribeye is simply the best anywhere.
The worst place ever it was my first time and my last time there, the waiter was rude beyond belief! We ask what was the best steak on the menu he said he didn’t know for me to look so we did then I said we will take the porter house for 2 he said you know that’s 120.00 I said yes I know I don’t care about the price then processed to say well you can’t get it well done everyone at my tables order he messed up nonetheless I was still upset about the price reference my daughter said maybe he just has to be clear with ppl ok then a young couple around 20 if that sits down right next to us and they order the porter house never once does he say ya know its 120.00 so I definitely had to approach him about that and his answer was because you looked at the menu!!! Wait didn’t you tell me you didn’t know what the best steak was and to look at the menu ??? Are you serious and the menu clearly stated a price that couple didn’t look at the menu maybe you should have said the price to them just despicable!!! I asked for the check and paid with my BLACK American Express card . Very rude and disrespectful I will never be back there again!
Lovely upscale establishment. As it is a steakhouse, you can expect higher prices, but well worth it if you love a good cut of meat. Avid fans of soft-shell crabs, we were pleased that they were available and made a terrific start as appetizers before we moved onto the Porterhouse for two. Absolutely delicious. The staff are pleasant, accommodating and knowledgeable.
Birthday celebration, the staff did a very nice job with the dessert presentation, singing “Happy Birthday@.
One of the elegant restaurants. The entire staff makes you feel like a VIP. Food was tremendous!
Amazing amazing amazing! Impeccable service, outstanding food, perfect ambience. We will absolutely be returning as soon as possible. Worth every bit!
We had our anniversary dinner here and it is now our favorite local steakhouse. We hop around to a lot of different steakhouses because it’s our favorite splurge food for special occasions. The Cajun Colorado Rib Rye steak and sides blew us out of the water with freshness and taste cooked to perfection. I’m not a fan of Cajun spices because they tend to be too spicy for me. However, this was the tastiest rub I’ve ever had on a steak. We can’t wait to go back!
Have been here a few times and each time is just as awesome as the previous. Great food, service and ambience. I highly recommend this venue for your dining pleasure.
Love the porterhouse rare, side of the home fries, clams oreganata and Ofcourse creamed spinach. Red wine ofcourse
They were rushing us out after our bill was $800 and will never go back there
