Bryant & Cooper Steakhouse
Founded by the three Poll brothers with two generations of restaurant ownership experience, Gillis, Dean and George learned at an early age that the secret of a great restaurant was to start with serving the very best.
That is why the steaks, chops and jumbo lobsters are selected on a daily basis, and only the freshest side dishes find their way to a plate served at Bryant & Cooper.
Over the years Bryant & Cooper has received superlative reviews for its entire menu. The New York Times has proclaimed it the "best steak house on Long Island."
I always have memorable dinner with my family. The food is great as well as the atmosphere.
Always great. Steaks are always great but the fish dishes are better than seafood restaurants. Also split linguine and clam sauce as an appetizer.
probably best steakhouse on Long Island. Excellent quality meats, appetizers and desserts. Classic steakhouse.
Always great steak and service but of course once you expect it, they let you down. The soda was flat in our drinks and we had no luck getting our waiters attention. I’ll chalk it all up to a bad night because they are never like this.
Wonderful Easter lunch . Flawless meal from service execution and amazingly prepared meal . Never disappointed best restaurant on Long Island .
Delicious steak and a very authentic steakhouse experience
This could have possibly been the best steak I ever had. The bone in Cajun Rib Eye is what we had and it was delicious. This restaurant is truly a great steak house we will be back soon
Always love this restaurant! Staff wonderful. Food was
spot on. Total delish!!
Best steakhouse on Long Island.
Wow! What an amazing birthday at this centrally located restaurant on the gold coast of Long island
I love this restaurant. The food is excellent and the wait staff accommodating. Always a treat......
The meat had a great flavor. However we asked for ot meat to be medium well and the waiter discouraged us from that. We told him that we wanted the meat pink inside however when it came to the table to was far too unser cooked and we had to send it back. Then it was perfect
Food and service were excellent and contained in a very elegant atmosphere. Some of the specials were overpriced compared to regular menu items
Nice last minute meal at the bar. We had to wait to be seated but it is understandable as we made last second reservations and despite that we were greeted kindly. THANK YOU
The service was excellent as always, appearance is old world classic steak house but very noisy. The steak was good quality and cooked medium rare exactly as I requested. There is little or no seasoning added to the meat and I think it could use additional seasoning to enhance the flavor of the meat.
I recommend the restaurant because of it’s good quality and very consistent service.
For prime times you need to make reservations a couple of weeks in advance.
My original plan was to go to Petre Lugar but saw on open table Bryant and Cooper had a similar ranking
but that was NOT my experience. In fact, I definitely would NOT recommend bryant and cooper
We had the tomato and mozzarella appetizer, porterhouse for 2 broccoli (sauteed w/garlic) 1 baked potato, 1 drink each --the meal was a total of 189.00. Food was marginal at best--the tomato was too green and too thinly sliced relative to the size of the mozzarella (which bland even by mozzarella standards). More problematic was the steak which was flavorless and chewy.
Service was just ok..the 'busboys' were probably the best
An upscale steak house with excellent steak and ample selections other than meat. The flounder was very good, the linguine and clam sauce was bland, the steak was superb. Gorgonzola salad one of the best, as was there cream spinach. Good solid dinner.
The perfect place to relax and enjoy s great meal with family and friends. Our waiter answered all our questions, with no hesitation. He made some suggestions which turned out great. Make sure when you come to this restaurant you bring your appetite.
We were seated promptly. Seating is cozy but tolerable. Our waiter Charlie was excellent and did whatever he could to make our dining experience a success. Staff is professional and friendly. All our food was cooked perfectly to order and as expected. At the outset we requested not to be rushed, and our meal was relaxed and paced properly. The food was excellent : Gorganzola salad, Porterhouse steak for two, baked potato etc. Popular place for celebrations. We heard at least seven choruses of Happy Birthday while seated and two more while leaving. Pricey but worth it !
Great food and service.
Had to wait 45 minutes for table in crowded space
Best steakhouse on the island!! Our favorite !
Food not cooked as ordered. Sent steak back twice and still not right. The waiter gave the table two complimentary sides, which was nice. Disappointed after hearing and reading a lot of positive reviews.
Wanted to try this place after a number of recommendations. The food is certainly on point. My biggest issue was the service. I felt extremely rushed. Our entrees came out immediately after we finished our appetizers. I noticed a free other tables had the same issue, with entrees coming out while appetizers were still on the table. I find this to be unacceptable. I want to relax and enjoy a meal at this price point, not feel as if they’re desperate to turn the table over. Otherwise it was a pretty good experience.
We went to Bryant and Cooper on a Tuesday night which was perfect, quiet elegant fabulous meal
We ate the tastiest stone crabs, rib steak cook to perfection, cottage fries and creamed spinach, perfect meal in a perfect setting.
Service was excellent. Our waiter was exceptional. Food always good
Best steakhouse on Long Island
Excellent meal as always.
Always fun and delicious! Food was incredible and the service was the epitome of B&C. Colossal stone crab claws, perfectly cooked steaks, and asparagus that has no comparison. There’s a reason I always come back here.
This was our first time here. The food was excellent. Our waiter was wonderful.
Always top notch. We had the Cajun Ribeye, 4lb lobster, Hash browns, string beans. Everything they makes is so delicious. If I had to make one criticism, and I am being nitpicky here, it would be that the Cajun Ribeye, which I consider to be one of the most flavorful and delicious steaks I have ever had, was a bit too fatty. I realize a ribeye is fatty, but this one was just a bit too much for my tastes. I have had it here before and I will order it again. Must have been a one time thing. The 4lb lobster was an absolute homerum. They shelled it for us. The sides were excellent as always. Get the hash browns well done. Overall a great experience as it has been every time I have been before. Highly recommend.
Great food and service, especially during lunch time when your guaranteed to get a higher level of attention since the restaurant is usually not busy at all.
Food very good. Service a bit slow that tonight but usually better. Noise level a bit too high.
I had gone to Peter Luger's the past week and was perfect not here salad was so so steak was chili and full of fat certainly not up to par
Val the waiter and Rasim the bartender are the best in the business
The dover sole was amazing. We always have steak (also amazing) but tried the fish on Monday. Wonderful! Made request for a specific table and pleased to say we were seated there. Thanks!
Love Bryant & Cooper so much! The food is absolutely delish & everyone is so friendly. I’ve been here 3 separate special occasions & they NEVER disappoint. I highly recommend!
We come there all the time and love it but this one guy serving us was awful. He was clearly trying to up sell us on every single thing and it was obnoxious.
Very disappointed. We haven't been to Bryant & Cooper in a few years. We ordered filet mignon - medium. It came out blood rare. We sent it back and they cooked it well done - with attitude. The sides were very good. For the price that they charge for just a piece of meat, they should cook it to the temperature that you request.
