I love how they turned on the TVs they just added to the dining room to allow us to eat in the restaurant but still enjoy the game

Sitting by the fire on a cold day with a bowl of one of their delicious soups, warm bread and a glass of wine ... nothing better!

This was our first visit to BRX. WE each had the soup and 1/2 sandwich luncheon special. The clam chowder was quite hot (temperature-wise, not spicy) but a bit too thick with cornstarch. Our ham and fontina sandwiches on a baguette was excellent. For dessert one of us had the miniature pecan pie (cleverly presented in a small martini glass) and my guest had the pistachio ice cream. The booths by the window let you view the lovely outdoor seating area. In nice weather, that would be the place to dine! The service is quite leisurely, so if you are in a time crunch, be certain to tell your server. Also, the lunch special does not explain that only three of the listed sandwiches are available as the 1/2 sandwich option. We would return if we lived in the area (Great Falls/McLean) but since we drove over 45 minutes to test this out, we would probably not return.

Consistently superior in service, cuisine, wine & ambience. Owner Ashwani know how to run a restaurant. Marco is a top-notch bartender/server who always makes us feel welcomed. We highly recommend Brx!

This was a fave restaurant but the last couple visits have underwhelmed. The food is just eh (in fact the mahi mahi special i had recently had no taste) and the service was down right bad. too bad, lovely restaurant.
UPDATE - I received a call from this restaurant very soon after I posted this review. They were extremely interested in hearing details of my experience and were very knowledgeable on the specials i was describing and the particular evening in question. They explained a few things that might have impacted our dining experience and were very apologetic but more than anything, seemed genuinely concerned and eager to hear what I had to say to make improvements. I will certainly give them another chance!

The portions are small but the food was tasty! The dessert had more food on the plate than the entree by almost double.

The hostess was in a little over her head. The walk from outback to the front is long and she had to hustle and wasn't comfortable with that. She called us after checking us in to see if we were still coming for our reservation.

There was a ruckus group of ladies on their moms night out and echoed into the whole restaurant, that made having a quiet dinner impossible.

The price was high given the portions and not terribly blown away by the food enough to return.

Service was really great!

Chef creates wonderful dishes. Marco is a warm, attentive, and professional server/bartender. Wine is 1/2 off by the bottle every Tuesday. Who could ask for more? We love brx!

Our Sunday lunch was very nice. We had a table by the window overlooking the outdoor eating area; the table was a good size for three people - no shuffling of glasses and condiments for more room. The service was prompt and efficient; waiter kept an eye on us without interfering with the meal. The ambience is OK - large, wood-floored dining room and adjacent bar might be noisy with a bigger crowd. All in all, we loved it and would not hesitate to go back.

BRX is a great little spot--especially if you're on the road to Wolf Trap and want to avoid the clutter of Tysons. We had the Lasagna special--very good and the Blackened Salmon Sandwich--also good! Good beer list and great service--I would go here any time before heading to Wolf Trap for a performance.

Went to this restaurant when it first opened and it was delicious. Had lunch yesterday with friends and it was nothing special. Food was just okay - had the guacamole tomato burchetta and it lacked flavor. The crab cake was good, but the bun was just ordinary, noting special.

The food quality you was well below what we expected. The dining room is fairly empty yet the hostess sat very large table with kids right next to us even though there was another option. I wouldn't eat there again.

I was worried because the restaurant looks very class in photos online, but it's location is in a very plain shopping plaza. However, the inside is beautiful! The appetizers we had were better than 5 star restaurants I've been to. (Particularly the almond brie and tuna sashimi). The entrees were good, dessert was okay-good, but because of those amazing appetizers? I'm bringing friends. If they can bring the level of entrees and desserts to the bar the starters are currently at-no doubt this place would be 5 stars in no time.

As always it was lovely. Service and food are great. My only complain is that we ordered 2 Raspberry mojitos and when they brought them of one looked very pale compared to the other one b cause it didn't have enough fruit. And then we realized that they didn't have raspberries but was made with strawberries without asking us if that was ok.

Haven't had such a good meal in awhile!! Wasn't sure what to expect but knew after we had the amazing French Bordeaux wine and delicious bread as a starter that we were in for a treat. Started with the Greek salad and then the chicken Milano which was perfect if you're in the mood for a creamy comfort food. So happy to find such a gem nearby!

A cozy, somewhat upscale, family friendly restaurant that is a fixture in the community. The menu is diverse, including traditional as well as eclectic offerings, always fresh and prepared with care. Price point is below what one would expect for a restaurant of this caliber -- a great venue, at a reasonable price, offering wonderful dining.
