Great food and wonderful service. Would recommend the piped music be softer when there's only a few people in the room.
My favorite restaurant by far. As ever, nothing but five stars all round.
AMAZING FOOD!!! We went for dinner with friends that we haven't seen in a long time and it was difficult to talk because it was a bit loud.... BUT.... the food, staff, and setting was FANTASTIC and I would go back again and again
Interesting, well thought out menu using simple fresh ingredients in unusual and delicious ways.
Lovely casual and welcoming spot where you can relax with a date or with a group of friends and feel that you've been somewhere special .
Lots of people evidently agree.Make a reservation in good time for Fridays or Saturdays !!!
Sauces were wonderful. Desserts (lemon pie and chocolate and cranberries) were fantastic. Main courses (pork schnitzel and fish casserole) seemed to lack flavour. Frites were more like french fries - should have been smaller. Tater tops are to die for.
Great selection of beers. Spectacular food. Turkey wings, brussels sprout salad and the pork schnitzel are all highly recommended. Only issue we faced is we had to wait 20 minutes for our table despite having a reservation.
Food was absolutely amazing, awesome atmosphere and service. No complaints whatsoever, will definitely be returning for special occasions in the future.
Been to Brux House for beers - of which they have a wondrous selection that changes seasonally, with strong standards all year round - but did not eat there till now. Oh, what I was missing! One of the best meals I've ever had. All I can say is: go as soon as possible!
Great service, great beer and great food! we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!
The only complaint would be that this is the second visit where we had reservations and had to wait for over 30minutes for our table. Squished into the corner afraid to move because we were so tightly packed into the bar area.
It was busy Saturday evening. The service was great and the food we ordered was delicious. Would appreciate more desert options. We will return again
Chose this place for a pre-show dinner even though it was a little far from the venue, but were really glad we did. A+ on all fronts: great beer selection, welcoming vibe, prompt and friendly service, and delicious food (we tried the schnitzel and the burger).
Great food, service was excellent, didn't feel rushed and server was very attentive.I've been there for lunch and supper and both times I've really enjoyed my Neal. The tater tots ar a must!
Great meal, and great selection of creative specials. We loved the Pirogies and the beer flight selection.
Craft beer menu is fantastic and food menu complements. Parking is a pain but experience is well worth the pain. Cheers.
This restaurant had a really cozy atmosphere with great food options. We ordered two appetizers that sounded awesome but we're on the rather light side for a portion. The mains were a good portion and were very beautifully executed. Excellent beer selection.
Very nicely decorated with intimate ambience. Burger is good but Brux House needs to find a better bun--the meat kept sliding out from between the layers. A nice place to meet friends for drinks or have an upscale casual meal. It would be nice to see more ways to have the mussels prepared.
The Brux House Craft Beer & Kitchen consistently offers a delicious, memorable dining experience. Service is top notch, reliable and accurate. Dietary needs are readily accommodated. The meals are medium to higher priced, but it is priced well for the quality delivered. We really enjoy the Brux House for lunch and dinner.
Food quality was high, food temperature was spot on. I really enjoyed the fisherman's pie, pure comfort food gluttony. The pork schnitzel was delicious and crispy with great flavour. Looking forward to returning and trying more dishes.
The Brux House is one of my favourite restaurants in my area. The food is so delicious, the service is always great and it is reasonable priced for what you get. Go here! You won't regret it.
Great place great food delicious food. And it's always a pleasure to chat with Kevin.😊
great meal good service, hope to return soon to the brux house, soon, had the chestnut beer was good .. thx
Food was ok
Very little for the price
Lunch for four people 150.00
Will not return
Have let lots of people know the cost for one and half hour
Great atmosphere and service. Food was delicious as well! 2nd time dining at Brux. Will return.
Great spot has never failed us! Good food, excellent value!
Absolutely delicious place. Try the fancy veggie burger. Liked it so much that we had to get engaged immediately after dinner, to make sure it'll become our anniversary spot.
Great food, beer, ambiance and location. A local favourite.
I always love Brux ... I get cravings for the cauliflower app ... it's my fave
Have been to Brux House many times and always enjoy our visit. Food is quite innovative and tasty, nice variety to choose from. Cauliflower and sprouts are both favourites. Have tried a number of the mains, but always return to the fisherman's pie - yum! When we arrived the music was very loud, difficult to carry on a conversation. We were seated directly under a speaker. When we asked the server to turn the volume down she did so, but the music remained a bit too loud throughout the evening. Usually service is quick, but this time it was fairly slow. Was a couple weeks before Christmas so they were very busy, sure this contributed to the slower service. Look forward to returning soon.
Brux House is smart, trendy and offers a different menu than most local restaurants.
Knowledgeable, attentive, polite staff.
Like the quiet nook on the 2nd floor .
My this visit and I'll return!
I was introduced to Brux House for the first time on the occasion of my 68th birthday. In attendence were my oldest Son , Sean , his partner, Helena , Anthony and Sofia , 11 and 9 , Uncle John , and myself. I was comfortable and relaxed. Our Server, Jes, was knowledgible and personable- so important when age differences are a challenge to accommodation. THe App's were served hot and delicious, the drinks well received and promptly described by Jes as I ordered a "Flyte" of Craft Beers. The wine was perfect for the occasion. I had the Rainbow Trout the children the Steak and all was gratefully received. All in all I became a convert to the Locke Street scene but especially the Brux House establishment. The Mixologist looked just like the promo documents! I will return, Anthony F Davidson CPA CA
Awesome as always. Kevin's cocktail creations are second to none, and the tap list is always great. The food is amazing; there's lots to choose from (from seafood, to red meats, to veg dishes) without having an out-of-control menu.
Over the top beer craft beer list along with a solid menu. A can't miss for a business lunch.
Great food, amazing beer list. Our server was friendly and helpful, but it took at least 25 minutes for us to get a drink, and again, another 25 minutes for the bill. I had ordered a coffee so the wait would have been okay if it had come but it just never arrived. I wasn't charged for it and was ready to go at that point so not that big of a deal.
I wonder if this was due to the fact that we were seated upstairs and/or that our server had a large party to handle (with us just as a table of two).
We will return due to food and beer but likely request to sit downstairs.
Slow to get drinks. About 15 minutes. Had to send cauliflower back but they made it right. Delicious chicken sandwich and fisherman's pie.
Beer and service was fabulous. The specials (Brussels sprouts, tuna carpaccio) were delicious! The only downside was that about 50% of the mussels we ordered to share were very sandy. It definitely took us out of it, and for the price, I expected better.
We'll go again, but not order the mussels.
Love Brux House. Great frites, wonderful beer selection, always a great meal!
We had the mussels and frites, large portion and the ribs with pickled beets and micro greens both were very good. For drinks they have serve a lot of craft beers including flights and Kevin makes one of the best French 75's around.
Great ambiance, creative tasty veges. The special appie of short ribs was delicious.
Second visit and again it did not disappoint! The beer flights are great, and the mixed drinks are creative and delicious. I wish the wine was a more reasonable price though! We both got the trout and it was fabulous! We strayed from tradition and got the pretzel sticks with beer fondue for dessert and were super pleased with our choice. I couldn't afford to go here regularly, but for a special occasion, it's so worth it!!!
