Bruno's Italian Bistro
Incredible! Definitely coming back! Thank you for the great food, wine, and service!
Food is always good, not great!!! But we will return
Disappointed that one of our guests had to change/amend her order twice due to running out of food. We also had to change two cocktail orders due to the bar not having the bourbon or rum needed. The server also input a wrong protein on one order, this was quickly resolved. We love having Bruno's back though and Nick is always a great host and chef
My dad and I were regulars at the old location. When we heard they had reopened, we had to go back and we were not disappointed! The food and service was outstanding as always!
So delicious! Ravioli Month is February - worth going back several times to maximize opportunities for deliciousness.
Disappointing experience. Started the night by asked the “host if we could sit at a different table other than the little two top near the door and windows and were told it was “reserved for a party of four”. Not two minutes later, he sat a party of two at the table we requested. We could ignore this slight if the food were better but it’s not. Both of our entrees were underseasoned and tasteless. The appetizer bruschetta tasted only of goat cheese and the tapenade served bread was nothing more than sliced garlic and olives in oil - no taste other than garlic. There are much better Italian restaurants in Denver. Give Bruno’s a miss.
We used to go to the original location. We are so happy to have found them on S. Broadway! Food was fantastic! Looking forward to going back soon!
Very nice. Conscientious service, good food, reasonably priced
Will go back. Enjoyed the evening
Nick and his team don’t disappoint. Their new location is charming and reminiscent of dining in Italy. If possible, the food is even more delicious.
We've already made reservations for our next visit!
Very disappointing...Service was just horrible...food was mediocre at best...so sorry it does not live up to the old location on Monaco.
Great spot for classic Italian in the Wash Park area of Denver - and a much needed addition. Parking out front or in the back (latter that most don't know about). Owner walked around ensuring everything was great - good kids menu, and all food was very good....will return very soon.
The spaghetti and meatballs were enjoyed by the grownups, but it was too spicy for a child in our group. I was disappointed in the eggplant parmesan--it seemed like the skin of the eggplant was tougher than the usual. There could have been more shrimp in the penne dish. The waiter was friendly and fairly attentive, although some in our group didn't get their water refilled when needed.
Same great food and service on a new location.
My husband found that Bruno’s has reopened and we gave it a try. Food was very good. The restaurant was noisy. The owner came by and told us they were going to get tablecloths which will make the tables look nicer and help with the noise levels.
The restaurant was busy. Good for them!!
We had a good time and the food was good although I still wish I had been served the mushroom ravioli that I had ordered
We loved the old Bruno’s, and are happy that the new location is more centrally-located. We wish that the atmosphere was cozier, and that they had a snazzier wine/cocktail menu, but we’ll be back for the great service and spectacular food!
Went to the new Bruno's after being semi-regulars at the old location and was thoroughly disappointed. We show up with reservations at 7:00, right behind another group of three. Nobody comes out for a few minutes and we can see that there are no tables available. When a waiter comes out, he asks the people in frint of us if they had reservations and they said "No, but (could not hear the name) said we could just come in and sit down." He looks at us and says "Reservations ?" We say yes and were about to give him our name and he says there are two seats at the bar. Technically, he was correct, there were two seats at the bar, the far end of the bar, against the wall, room for one and there was a cowboy hat on the counter. We sit there, hoping our table will open up. After ten minutes, the same waiter, can't remember his name, other than it started with a J, asks us if we want a drink, my wife gets a glass of wine and I ask about bourbons, which I find out they have one only, so I gave it a try. 7:25, a table opens up and the people without the reservation gets that and nothing is said to us. 7:35 pm, we flag down the waiter, didn't make a scene, paid our tab and left.
This was an issue at the last place, we loved the food, the owner was great but waitstaff was more miss than hit. Denver is filled with Italian restaurants, some closer to home so sorry to say, I won't be back.
So delighted to see Bruno’s is back and serving up fine Italian cuisine in my neighborhood. Whether for A special occasion or just needing a night out without cooking, Bruno’s is an outstanding choice. The new location far exceeded my expectations, rather it is far warmer and more welcoming than the former location and a fine complement to the wonderful food.
Glad to follow Bruno's from their Monaco access via alley east of Broadway.
We were so happy to see that Brunos has re-opened its new location. Same great food and high-quality
We are so happy that bruno's is back and as great as ever!!
So glad they are back! Location is a bit tough to park but there is a lot across the street. We'll be back!
Excellent food and very attentive service. I think the filet mignon is the best in town. The chef is at his best with sauces, whether an Italian red sauce, the wine/butter sauce for the mussels, or the mushroom sauce for the filet. A quiet place for a very good dinner. Wine was not overpriced.
the return of a great favorite restaurant at a great new location.
excellent service and value.
So glad Nick is back with his wonderful food. Love Bruno’s!
Really good food! Excited to have this in the neighborhood
They just moved to South Broadway - Good food,Good Service and Good prices.
Excellent value with a main course soup or salad is included. It doesn't get any
better than having the chef/owner visiting every table to insure his guests are
Pleased ! WOW !
This is the first time we went back to Bruno's after it has reopened in the new Broadway location. Same menu, without the pizza. The food was just as good as it always had been. I especially like the fried polenta appetizer.
I am so glad that Bruno's reopened in a new location. Wonderful meal!
The service was great and my table was ready and waiting for me when I arrived. Plenty of parking in the back if you cant find street parking out front. You really cant go wrong with anything on the menu.
We are SO happy that Bruno's has reopened! The new location is convenient, with street parking and parking in the back. Same great menu (minus the pizzas) and food. Once they get back into the swing of things, it will be our favorite place again!
The restaurant a quaint place in a strip shopping center. The food was outstanding. (Bread was stale-only complaint). Presentation just a bit different than most Italian restaurants.
Had a few flies.
The food was surprisingly good. The plates from the bread and oil stayed on the table until after we finished the meal. There were about 3 flies in our part of the dining room that only settled down when they found the empty bread basket that never got cleared from our table. A bus boy was running around the dining room swinging a filthy fly swatter above other guests and even swatting the light fixtures right above their food. If they get a better staff and clean the place up, this could be a fairly successful restaurant.
Wonderful meal!!! Special night, being our 23rd wedding anniversary, and the meal was a definite highlight!!! Sausage lasagna is simply superb!!
We had a great meal with our three kids. The kids meal options weren't plentiful but they ordered off the regular menu and we all really enjoyed our food. Service was excellent.
We've been to Bruno's many times and they just never disappoint. With today's escalating menu prices they are also a great value. Highly recommend.
Bruno's makes the best Chicken Francaise. Even though it is not on the menu, they are always happy to make it for me.
I still like Bruno's very much, but perhaps success is working in a negative fashion. Our waiter was way to busy serving way too many tables. We asked for cheese for the soup, it was never delivered. Our bread was empty and while we did not request, it should have been offered. I had to flag him down to get our drinks refilled. I state this and say he was not incompetent; just being asked to do too much.
Have always loved Bruno's, this one not so good. Had a Tuesday reservation and were seated at 6 p.m. Did not recieve our main course until 7:15. The waitress was apologetic but offered no compensation. We will try again next week.
