Bruno's Italian Bistro
AMAZING! It was delicious. I would recommend folks to try it.
This is a charming space to dine. It is cozy, warm and comfortable, the food is delicious. It reminds me of the old up-scaled Italian restaurants from the 50's and 60's with southern Italian dishes.
Piccolo posto fantastico! We all (3) thoroughly enjoyed this first visit and will be back. The food was excellent especially the veal piccata and reasonably priced. Bravo!
The food was great,as was the service. We are glad to have Bruno's in our area. We will definitely go again to try different dishes. We will encourage others to give Bruno's a try. Nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. Ciao
I guess everything was good but not spectacular. The restaurant was empty but a few tables filled by the time we left, about 7:30. My friend and I had the ciopinno..it was ok. It had lots of shellfish but no regular fish. Dessert was expensive, $7.95 for the gelato too! It was interesting but with so many good restaurants around, we probably won’t go back.
Food was very good and very hot, prices reasonable.
Parking is a little tight in back.
Noise level made it difficult to carry on conversation
This was our first time at Bruno's since they moved from their old location. They have maintained the great service and food that they had at the old location. Parking is not as good as before, but all of the rest is the same. Highly recommended!
Great food, drink and service. I highly recommend Bruno's.
Very good meal in a nice environment. I had the shrimp Parmigiana which is a personal favorite. My wife had the butternut squash ravioli (February is ravioli month) and loved it. The service was very good as always. We are so glad Bruno’s has reopened.
Wonderful place and great service and food. The chef took personal interest in how we enjoyed the meal.
We will definitely come back
A couple of neighbors and I enjoyed this new addition to our neighborhood. Service and food great. Just wish their Happy Hour was more days (currently limited to Mon-Thurs) and longer hours (currently from 5-6 pm).
We have been hoping to find a good new Italian restaurant for a while and then Bruno’s popped up a mile from our house. Southeast Denver’s loss is our gain. Everything was perfect.-food, flair, service, value. We are creatures of habit, and will return to Bruno’s often. This little charmer would fit well on Staten Island, the home of our Italian relatives. We will be happy to take them to Bruno’s when they come to town.
This is a wonderful place to go to.
While it "recently" opened, it is actually an older restaurant that moved locations.
If you are looking for Italian food, I recommend this restaurant.
Incredible! Definitely coming back! Thank you for the great food, wine, and service!
Food is always good, not great!!! But we will return
Disappointed that one of our guests had to change/amend her order twice due to running out of food. We also had to change two cocktail orders due to the bar not having the bourbon or rum needed. The server also input a wrong protein on one order, this was quickly resolved. We love having Bruno's back though and Nick is always a great host and chef
My dad and I were regulars at the old location. When we heard they had reopened, we had to go back and we were not disappointed! The food and service was outstanding as always!
So delicious! Ravioli Month is February - worth going back several times to maximize opportunities for deliciousness.
Disappointing experience. Started the night by asked the “host if we could sit at a different table other than the little two top near the door and windows and were told it was “reserved for a party of four”. Not two minutes later, he sat a party of two at the table we requested. We could ignore this slight if the food were better but it’s not. Both of our entrees were underseasoned and tasteless. The appetizer bruschetta tasted only of goat cheese and the tapenade served bread was nothing more than sliced garlic and olives in oil - no taste other than garlic. There are much better Italian restaurants in Denver. Give Bruno’s a miss.
We used to go to the original location. We are so happy to have found them on S. Broadway! Food was fantastic! Looking forward to going back soon!
Very nice. Conscientious service, good food, reasonably priced
Will go back. Enjoyed the evening
Nick and his team don’t disappoint. Their new location is charming and reminiscent of dining in Italy. If possible, the food is even more delicious.
We've already made reservations for our next visit!
Very disappointing...Service was just horrible...food was mediocre at best...so sorry it does not live up to the old location on Monaco.
Great spot for classic Italian in the Wash Park area of Denver - and a much needed addition. Parking out front or in the back (latter that most don't know about). Owner walked around ensuring everything was great - good kids menu, and all food was very good....will return very soon.
The spaghetti and meatballs were enjoyed by the grownups, but it was too spicy for a child in our group. I was disappointed in the eggplant parmesan--it seemed like the skin of the eggplant was tougher than the usual. There could have been more shrimp in the penne dish. The waiter was friendly and fairly attentive, although some in our group didn't get their water refilled when needed.
Same great food and service on a new location.
My husband found that Bruno’s has reopened and we gave it a try. Food was very good. The restaurant was noisy. The owner came by and told us they were going to get tablecloths which will make the tables look nicer and help with the noise levels.
The restaurant was busy. Good for them!!
We had a good time and the food was good although I still wish I had been served the mushroom ravioli that I had ordered
We loved the old Bruno’s, and are happy that the new location is more centrally-located. We wish that the atmosphere was cozier, and that they had a snazzier wine/cocktail menu, but we’ll be back for the great service and spectacular food!
Went to the new Bruno's after being semi-regulars at the old location and was thoroughly disappointed. We show up with reservations at 7:00, right behind another group of three. Nobody comes out for a few minutes and we can see that there are no tables available. When a waiter comes out, he asks the people in frint of us if they had reservations and they said "No, but (could not hear the name) said we could just come in and sit down." He looks at us and says "Reservations ?" We say yes and were about to give him our name and he says there are two seats at the bar. Technically, he was correct, there were two seats at the bar, the far end of the bar, against the wall, room for one and there was a cowboy hat on the counter. We sit there, hoping our table will open up. After ten minutes, the same waiter, can't remember his name, other than it started with a J, asks us if we want a drink, my wife gets a glass of wine and I ask about bourbons, which I find out they have one only, so I gave it a try. 7:25, a table opens up and the people without the reservation gets that and nothing is said to us. 7:35 pm, we flag down the waiter, didn't make a scene, paid our tab and left.
This was an issue at the last place, we loved the food, the owner was great but waitstaff was more miss than hit. Denver is filled with Italian restaurants, some closer to home so sorry to say, I won't be back.
So delighted to see Bruno’s is back and serving up fine Italian cuisine in my neighborhood. Whether for A special occasion or just needing a night out without cooking, Bruno’s is an outstanding choice. The new location far exceeded my expectations, rather it is far warmer and more welcoming than the former location and a fine complement to the wonderful food.
Glad to follow Bruno's from their Monaco access via alley east of Broadway.
We were so happy to see that Brunos has re-opened its new location. Same great food and high-quality
We are so happy that bruno's is back and as great as ever!!
So glad they are back! Location is a bit tough to park but there is a lot across the street. We'll be back!
Excellent food and very attentive service. I think the filet mignon is the best in town. The chef is at his best with sauces, whether an Italian red sauce, the wine/butter sauce for the mussels, or the mushroom sauce for the filet. A quiet place for a very good dinner. Wine was not overpriced.
the return of a great favorite restaurant at a great new location.
excellent service and value.
So glad Nick is back with his wonderful food. Love Bruno’s!
Really good food! Excited to have this in the neighborhood
