Place was packed the other night. The bread is great. So is the service.
Specials every night. Never disappoints.
The food was outstanding, great value for your money.
I like Brunello Trattoria and have gone there on several occasions and have recommended it to others. Was there Saturday night at 6:15 for a birthday dinner. The place was crowded. Always a good sign. But they had a large party in the back room. I think the kitchen was overwhelmed. It took a very long time to get our meal and quite some time before the waitperson gave us an explanation for the delay. And when the food arrived it was undercooked. Didn't send it back and didn't mention the birthday even though I listed it on the Open Table reservations as that would have delayed even further. Very disappointing experience.
I have been going there for years and always satisfied with their service and food quality
Found this place by accident. Great food and service. Started with the shrimp and scallops on a bed of arugula, light and tasty. The veal with spinach and mashed potatoes, prepared perfectly. Finished with the chocolate soufflé. We definitely be back to explore the menu!
This was my first visit and I invited a client for lunch. I enjoyed the food, the service was great and the prices were what I would expect.
I look forward to returning soon!
Thank you, Lance
A great neighborhood place with homemade comfort food and a casual setting. The prices are very reasonable. I look forward to going again!
High quality and fresh ingredients, decent choice of wines by the glass, several vegetarian options, attentive and friendly service. Style of food is light cream sauces, olive oil, seafood, vegetables (not heavy read sauce). Tiramisu heavy on the ladyfingers. Clean. Cozy atmosphere. Very noisy indoors; outdoor seating might be a quieter option (but it faces Washington Blvd so could be noisy during the day). Wide range of customers from families to girls night out to couples. Bar in the center of restaurant has TVs visible to table diners; open kitchen so you can see food being prepared. Overall very pleasant, relaxing, and tasty.
Everything here was great...food, service, value. This is my second time at Brunello. I will definitely go back when I am in LA. My daughter lives there and she is a huge fan. They will definitely get lots of repeat business from her. What a totally different experience vs. the Rose Cafe in Venice, where we went the night before. It is pretentious and overpriced and they make it very clear that your business is not important to them. I love Brunello!
The WHOLE family is there working hard. Best family place in Culver City
The service and food where great. The restaurant has great ambience. If you want a great time and dinner this is the place.
We love this restaurant. Been many times and never had a bad meal.
We were seated next to a table of children. The noise level was so high that we could not carry on a conversation!
Always authentic Naples food. Great server, chef and manager. Great value.
Food, presentation and prices are excellent. The setting is in a neighborhood at the east end of Culver City.
This value and quality in another venue would cost up to twice as much. Once you sample their menu, you will return again and again.
It has been my family’s go to restaurant since it opened. Food is well prepared and delicious. Good value.
Never disappointing, always a fun relaxing dinner even with kids.
Always consistently great, from service to food. A warm spot to have a great meal
It is nice and quiet. Waiter was very nice and we needed to be done early so it worked for us
No complaints, I’d highly recommend if you’re in the mood for Italian.
Very attentive staff. Really good food - had beef carpaccio, spinach salad, asparagus soup, a seafood linguini, veal with lemon and capers and molten choc cake. Soup a little bland, heavy on potato component. Would happily eat there again.
For the most part it was a good experience. I found the al dente pasta a little too al dente for my liking although I understand that is how it is supposed to be (this restaurant's pasta is just a little less cooked than most). I had lobster pasta. It was good but not to die for. The bread was really yummy as everyone notes when they review this restaurant. The tiramisu wasn't that great to me. It is passable but I make a much better tiramisu; it isn't difficult to do (mine is also non-alcoholic).
Overall a good experience but not spectacular or fabulous. 🙂
Always delicious food and attentive service. Great pasta dishes. Generous delicious salads.
Fabulous. Authentic Italian cuisine. Great wine selection. Great dessert.
The fresh warm bread was delicious!!!! Salad was meh. My pasta was soooo AMAZING and my pineapple sorbet was to die for! Presentation on the dessert as awesome.
Brunellos is a delicious and affordable neighborhood restaurant. The staff is accommodating and the restaurant is family friendly.
Every time I come here it is never ever a disappointment! From the food to the service!
Walked into the restaurant at 2 pm for lunch there were 4 or 5 tables that were occupied 1 table in the back had 2 girls at it 1 was sitting the other standing the looked over at me but continued their conversation i stood there a couple minutes then approached them being one wearing an apron and asked if i could be seated the girl sitting there said sure sit anywhere you like .Very shortly after that a server came over he was polite and professional a busser filled my water and brought out some delishious bread i ordered the arugula salad which would have been great except for the canned beets, then had the fettuchine with shiitake mushrooms and grilled chicken it was served piping hot and it was tasty but not a single shiitake mushroom in there commented to the server afterwards and he asked the cook why was there no shiitake and only white mushrooms she responded she thought thats how its made. Overall i walked out full and somewhat satisfied.
We loved our experience and plan to return soon. All four in our party were happy with their meal and the service was excellent!
Just nothing special.
The chicken dish and vegetables we had were lovely, but the pastas were very disappointing!
You can't go wrong. The pizza bread is great, salads are sharable, main courses presented well, beer and wine choices are very good, etc. Food L.A. is a good time to go.
As always, Brunellos serves great food together with impeccable and friendly service. This is our family’s favorite restaurant and we keep coming back, again and again!
The Adriano/Stowell Family
This was our second visit and it was just as delicious as the first time. A great find for authentic Italian food.
Dined on Father’s Day. Service was very attentive & helpful with entree & wine suggestions. Food was delicious! We tried a few new menu items this visit and they didn’t disappoint . (Pizza & bucatini pasta special). Will be back ☺️
We had never eaten here before and I found them on OpenTable and to our surprise this turned out to be a delicious place for dinner. We will be back !!
Lovely dinner, great service, nice atmosphere !
We always have a great meal and experience at Brunello’s!
We eat here often. The food is delicious. There's always enough for take home. The wine is very good. Staff friendly. Just a great place for delicious Italian food.
The parking situation has scared me away from future visits. I will not drive into the remote section of Culver City only to spend fifteen minutes circling the block, hoping that someone will vacate a parking spot. And we dined at 1:30 on a Thursday! I can only imagine what the parking situation would be at dinnertime
Brunello Trattoria proved to be a pleasant surprise -- in a residential area of Washington Blvd. in Culver City, with studio types and others turning up for lunch. Good service and great food -- the whole-tomato-based spaghetti with a lobster tail was enjoyed even more with pieces of the very good just-baked bread. A pizza with four different sections and toppings on each was admired by a friend who last saw one like that in Italy. And, of course, tiramisu hit the spot before going out into the afternoon sun. Good experience!
A typical neighborhood Italian restaurant. The decor feels a little Office Max, but the food is tasty and well portioned. If you live in the area and start craving Italian, Brunello can satisfy your pasta cravings.
