The server and the people preparing and serving food at the stations were friendly, but there were many dirty tables and much of the food was gone or almost gone. We didn’t have the variety of desserts that we have had in the past and at no point during the meal did I see anyone restocking the food or desserts. The food that was out and made at the stations was delicious.

Our reservations were for 1:00. The restaurant was relatively empty, only two other tables. This may have created the problems we encountered. A couple serving bowls were empty, we needed to request refills, and it took three requests for coffee. The food was very delicious except that it was just warm and the staff began breaking down the tables and serving trays by 1:45. At 2:00, they were stacking chairs and moving tables. We felt like we were an imposition and will never make reservation during the last hours of a brunch, a thought I had actually pondered previously, but NOT possible at the Beechwood! We assumed people could arrive at 2:00, not feel like they needed to vacate by 2:00. It was a very expensive and uncomfortable celebration of Mother's Day, a week early because one of my daughters works in the restaurant business and is working during Mother's Day herself. We MAY go back, but during the beginning of brunch. This was a costly lesson for my wallet.

I was very disappointed with this brunch. It ended up being a lot of money for plain food--there was little that was special. While the servers were very nice, they seemed overworked and under supported. I do not recommend this brunch.

Though the brunch was very nice, there are a few areas of improvement.

The whole roast salmon/smoked salmon station was missing some of the key ingredients normally provided - capers, chopped eggs, chopped red onions. The cream cheese was in pre packaged single serve containers, and only chive was available. For $45 a person, this could have been done right.

It would have been nice if the fruit area was more expansive - melon and pineapple were pretty basic for the occasion.

Several times members of our party Had to go back to the seriously depleted dessert station, several times, to check for restocking.

Keeping plates in stock was also a challenge.

Music was TOP NOTCH!

Servers were excellent and very pleasant.

I had heard great things about their Easter brunch, to say we were disappointed is an understatement. The breakfast items were good, however everything else was rather bland. Little to no seasoning seemed to be used on anything. Staff were not overly attentive and we actually had to seek someone out every time we needed anything. Even our table was not comfortable. There were only 2 of us so they put us at a small bistro table in the corner, when there were other more comfortable tables in the room that were empty the entire time we were there.

We wanted a lovely Easter Brunch with three generations. The problem was that we were coming from Northern MA and Middle Connecticut, so where to meet? Worcester is exactly half way and so we tried the Beechwood. It was the most expensive Easter Brunch around, but we were willing to pay for a special day.

It was awful: while the selection was mediocre, the food was all COLD and dried up or burnt. The coffee was cold. The desserts were limited and pasty. The fresh fruit was . . . only cantaloup The salad was wilted. The clam chowder congealed. There were no capers or onions for the sad looking lox and the cream cheese was a mess. The only hot items were from the crepe station and pasta bar. Both were tolerable, but we got the dregs of everything else. I understand that we had one of the last seatings, but we were not charged less than the folks who came in the morning, and so we should receive the same quality of food and service.

I am not a difficult customer to please and rarely leave a negative review, but for $45 each I was expecting some class. The ambience was cold, and cavernous - an impersonal banquet hall. The saving grace of the afternoon was the company.

Easter Brunch - array of food available was great! Everything was delicious. We were in from out of town for a wedding so Open Table helped in finding this gem.

Have been to many brunches. They look good but ultimately end up being bland. The Beechwood brunch buffet was seasoned well and had a great selection of breakfast, lunch and dessert items. The carved prime rib was fantastic. The omelette station cooked perfect eggs. And they include a cocktail. Very worth it.

We were looking forward to this brunch with our son who is in school in Worcester. Reservation was for 1 O'clock, which is late, very true! The place was deserted, the food that was out did not look as appetizing as it should have. We did ok with the omelettes (made on the spot, very nice) and fresh fruit. The omelette maker and our waitress were very friendly and very professional. Very expensive, too expensive for what we ate with water and coffee as beverages!
