Excellent burgers! Each of ours was cooked to perfection in temperature and taste. Service was friendly and fast. We’ll be back!
Thank you for the 5 stars and kind words! We are so glad you enjoyed your visit with us. Come see us again very soon!
Food was great . Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable.
I could eat that Roasted Jalapeno Mac and Cheese with Andouille and Shrimp every day!!!
I also appreciate when a restaurant has a decent non-alcoholic beer like Kaliber.
Steve, we also LOVE our Jalapeno Mac and cheese. It's one of our staff favorite appetizers! We are so glad you enjoyed your visit. We hope to serve you again very soon! Cheers.
Performance at theatre
Enjoyed our quick dinner before going to the Aronoff.
Unclear why service is a complete disaster every time we visit. It’s like they always find themselves utterly surprised and understaffed on Saturday nights pre-Aronoff. Food is decent, but FOH management needs to get it together.
Thank you for providing your feedback and letting us know about this issues. We set a high standard for ourselves and are truly sorry to hear that standard was not met in your interaction with us. Please get in touch with us at 513.463.6003 and we'd love to make this right. Cheers, Andrea M. General Manager
Wonderful service. We were in a hurry to get to a show. They took our order right away. We were in and out in about 30 minutes.
Great place for burgers!
It is our “go to” place to eat before going to a show at the Aronoff. It never disappoints!
Awesome! Thank you so much for your kind words, Cindy. We look forward to serving you again very soon.
Shared a bunch of appetizers with my daughters. The chicken tenders were a big hit! We also enjoyed the bbq nachos.
The chicken tenders are definitely one of our favorites, too! Thank you for sharing this experience with your daughters. We hope to see you all again, very soon!
Great spot for casual dining , American cuisine, and convenient to entertainment district.
They quality is consistent in this burger brewery. If you make a reservation, you are sure to be happy, seated right away, good service, and food.
We had reservations after a performance at the Aronoff. Things started out fine until a party of 30 showed up earlier than expected. This took the focus of our waitress and she was too busy with them and forgot about us. My order came out incorrectly. I ordered from the gluten free menu and my burger came out on a regular bun. Our salads came out with our meal instead of before. We asked for another drink and hot sauce which we waited on forever. Finally it came out. The waitress apologized for the long delay and told us that large party came in early and they were short staffed. It was after 5pm on a Saturday night and the Aronoff let out! They should think ahead. That’s why we made reservations. Then another waiter started waiting on us, brought us our check and after the fact asked if we wanted anything else to drink or dessert. First time there - food was good, service was subpar.
Dinner before a concert. Burgers are very good also recommend the Cole Slaw and Onion Rings. Will be back
WAY too cold. Literally everybody had to wear coats through dinner. Server was decent - she was pleasant but very forgetful/slow. Food was delicious but menu was limited. Location would be great before a Reds game, terrible before a show at Aronoff.
This was my first experience at Bru Burger and I had no idea what to expect. It was Valentine's Day and I was coming in from out of town to see a show at the Taft Theater nearby. Although the location was great and it was available (I booked reservation a week or so in advance on Open Table but Bru Burger is essentially a sports bar. For a sports bar it was above average but that wasn't really what I was hoping for. The service was pretty good considering it was a busy evening (although we were early around 5:45) and the food was good but not great. The menu is primarily burgers, with some sandwiches and salads. I go to another of the Cunningham Group restaurants, Mesh in Louisville which is more upscale than Bru Burger. All in all it was a pleasant experience and if you're in downtown Cincinnati and looking for that type of food, I would recommend it.
My party of four dined before heading to the Aronoff for a performance of Les Mis. Our reservation was made about 8 days in advance, when we arrived the restaurant was fairly full, not too many open tables. We were shown to a four top just inside the front door and behind the hostess desk. Each time the door opened we were treated to a whoosh of frigid air, we all put our coats back on for comfort while eating our meal. Our server came to the table in short order, if she gave us her name I missed it, in any case she wasn’t especially friendly or welcoming, but we wrote it off as being busy with the pre-theatre crowd. Our beverages were brought out quickly, likewise our meals. We each ordered a burger with onion rings, mine was the Bru Burger medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. All the burgers were a generous portion, I took half home for lunch the next day. All in all, service was prompt, the quality and portions were very good and we made it to the theater with time to spare.
Noisy and cold as we were seated near front door. Salad was good. Best part of meal was desert!
On my reservation I indicated high top table. When we got there they led us to low table. When I mentioned requesting high top the person seating us seemed very put out but did move us. Our server was quick to come to our table but that was the last thing she did quickly. While very nice she left table and we had five minute breaks when we did not hear from her. When my wife ordered a beer it came in a bottle. When our server brought it to the table my wife asked for a glass. Our server said she would get it but it never came. We tried to flag her down several times but she did not see us or ignored us. I finally had to walk up to the bar and get the glass for my wife.
My friend ordered chili with no sour cream. When it came out it had sour cream. They took it back and said they would be right back. He finished his entire burger and everyone else was almost finished with their meals before his chili came back out.
Overall a pretty disappointing meal.
I love Bru Burger--it is always so good! The burgers are delicious and the fries are to die for and that ketchup! Amazing...
Great restaurant...took a little long for our food to come to the table. Will defiantly go back again!
Great spot for a casual dinner or drinks near the convention center. Several vegetarian/vegan options, which was a pleasant surprise!
I had the portabello mushroom sandwich which was amazing!
Great service and great food! Will be going back!
Burgers were not the typical huge burgers you get at some nice restaurants. Small enough that you could taste the meat with all of the toppings. Wife and kids all enjoyed theirs as well. Attentive service and an attractive location.
I will go again
Everything was great! Our food was awesome. The server did a great job. We got our food quickly which was nice because we didn’t have to rush though our meal. We had plenty of time before our show started.
Thank you for your great review! We're happy you had a great visit!
The burgers were delicious!! So juicy! I was a little disappointed in the onion rings. They were very soft and not much flavor. They weren’t as good as I remembered but everything else was great!!!
First time there. Great food. Server was fabulous.
It was okay. Not a problem just typical pub stuff.
Great experience for dinner before the lion king at aranoff!
Onion rings are horrible. Too much breading
Great vegan/GF/vegetarian options! Service was good and convenient for parking and close to Aronoff Center for shows.
Thank you so much for your amazing review! We love our GF options too! Thanks for making us your go-to before the Aronoff shows. We hope to see you soon!
I was in Cincinnati for the weekend and literally ate here 3 times the food was so good. If you’re in the area definitely try this place! It’s amazing!
Yay! Thank you so much! We're so happy you liked us enough to come 3 times in one visit! We hope to see you again very soon.
Great selection of beers and (of course) burgers. I ordered the Provençal burger, with grilled onions & goat cheese. Very tasty, but next time I would order it medium WELL because it had a lot of pink left.
The “triple dip” appetizer had guac & a super tasting hummus. Needed a few more pita slices though. Very good menu and plenty of craveable tastes!
We're so glad you enjoyed your visit with us! Next time you're in, ask your server for more naan bread! We will happily bring you more so you can finish that delicious Triple Dip. Thanks for the review and we hope to see you again soon!
We had a nice night out with friends at Bruburger. The food was good and it was a great location near the Aronoff.
one thing that would have made it better was not sitting by door to outside seating
it was cold and windy when we were there and our table was right by door to outside seating so got a blast of cold air every time door was opened
Food was delicious and service was great. We can't wait to go back.
Our family went downtown to check out Fountain Square and all the Christmas lights and decoration.
Food was delicious and quick service
