Best food in Blue Ash!!!!!!
Great service and great food, will be a place I make a regular destination.
Came here on a date night with my wife. We were seated in a very dark corner where it was so dark you could barely read the menu. When we sat down, someone immediately brought us a crab cake. We were so surprised in the moment we couldn’t catch him to say it was a mistake. The food was pretty good but we didn’t feel like it was worth the $30 a plate price tag. I had the boar and my wife had the duck. We had the poutine for an appetizer. Everything was ok. Nothing was bad but nothing was good enough to bring us back.
Great food and atmosphere!! We will be back!
Brown Dog is always fantastic. It never fails. Unique dishes, hearty portions, and delicious.
Excellent service. Accommodated dietary restrictions and offered warm service
A favorite! Food is fresh and delicious and the staff is so accommodating to dietary needs.
Always great....and I have tried most of the menu
Absolutely superb food and wine matching. Always excellent.
Just finished Valentines 5 course meal. Different menu from their typical selections but food was still very good. The rack of lamb, roasted pear salad, chocolate cake, and steak tartare were good. We enjoyed excellent service by Adam. I suggest adding the wine course or sampling the unique selection of microbrews. Nice atmosphere with the harp player and red tablecloths. Only issue was the cheese course was clunky, a fondue might have worked better then 3 varieties of chunked cheese. Place was busy but service was very attentive with plates cleared quickly and water glasses kept full.
Food was excellent. Very fresh and nice atmosphere. Very consistent.will definitely be back
Valentine day brunch
Great look, food (I had rabbit pot pie), and service. Can't wait to try more of their menu!
Food was great and the presentations very nice, but the service was terrible.
We visited the Brown Dog for a Sunday Brunch. We were immediately impressed the location and atmosphere, open views of the park. We were immediately greeted with a friendly smile, seated right away, and drinks delivered quickly to the table. The brunch choices were all tempting, and the four of us chose a wide variety. From a Spanish inspired Eggs Benedict, to a Poutine that was just delicious, a burger that was tasty, and a more traditional breakfast everything was well prepared, presented very well, and tasted fantastic. We highly recommend you try brunch at Brown Dog!
Awesome all around
Went later in the evening after a show so things were winding down and there wasn't time to linger. It was my first time and I will definitely go back, the outdoor seating area looked like it would be great in nicer weather. The food was good but I was surprised there wasn't an item with chicken as the main protein, although they were happy to substitute for us. Lots of natural materials used in the decor such as wood and stone which created a very welcoming decor to me.
They have updated their menu and it is great. I need to go back.
The food was really good. Our server (Alex, I think) was great. The artichoke appetizer was nice, as was the corn and crab chowder. The beet and goat cheese salad was very good. And one can never go wrong with poutine!
I hadn’t realized Brown Dog moved to a new location, so finding it at the backside of the new development was tricky at first but fine. I chose this restaurant because I was meeting a friend and wanted a more intimate feel. The new location does not have that. Our booth was small, just big enough for two which is fine, but on a busy aisle. It has high ceilings and lots of hard surfaces — it is much louder than before.
But again, the food and service are very good. I will likely be back but for different reasons and with different expectations. Still great overall.
