Great place, easy to drive by since it looks like it’s part of the park. Was able to sit out on the porch and really enjoyed my meal

Food, service and drinks were excellent. The only thing I did not like was the wait for our reservation. Several couples who came in after us were seated before us. The noise in the bar area was "energetic" to say the least. Our table was in the farthest corner from the bar and the noise level was much better.

They had to change waiters which slowed down the process a bit but once he knew we were on a time schedule he did his best to help us out. We did restaurant week menu and swordfish and risotto was wonderful but would have had better presentation if not served in a taco bowl

We visited during Restaurant Week and chose from the special menu. Everything was superb. We shared all of the dishes and there was ample to share. My friend called dinner "a symphony in your mouth." Wonderful combinations of flavors in all of the dishes. Wait staff was great -- there when you needed, but not bothersome. Great, upbeat atmosphere.

Food and service were great.
We did NOT like the manner in which the bill was presented. The waiter does everything off of an iPad and since our guests were paying for their meal separately, he read the total for their meal aloud, asked them to verify it, you are digitally asked to add your tip, and then given a total the you need to "finger" sign as being accepted. We then had to repeat the same procedure for our meal. My wife had ordered a 3 course meal off of the menu which included the tip but when I was handed the iPad, I had to try and figure out how much her inclusive tip affected our total bill. This could have handled much less digitally and a simple printed bill, while looking less hip, would have been much easier to understand. The waiter then needs to stand there while you are going through this calculation as opposed to having a piece of paper that you can decipher more easily without the pressure of doing this while he, and our guests, wait for resolution. We then still asked for paper checks so we could document the evening. Please do not over complicate what should be pretty simple in the guise modernity.

This was my first time at the Brown Dog cafe! The food was amazing! From the appetizer to dessert just delicious! We had the house salad, the steak skewer, scallop and salmon mousse, pan roast duck, the filet, and the prosciutto wrapped stuffed chicken with risotto. Then the desserts...omg!!! The chocolate banana bread pudding with homemade vanilla ice cream and one of the best Key Lime pie in the country!!! Please do yourself a favor and go to the Brown Dog cafe! Service was great as well!!! I will definitely be going back!

A friend and I went here for restaurant week and each got the three-course $35. Add five glasses of wine plus tip and the bill was $150. Yikes.

Brown Dog was the 1st restaurant my hubby and I found 5+ years ago when we moved here from Los Angeles. We were desperate for delicious, authentic, locally sourced fare. Lo and behold, we found the perfect spot, The Brown Dog Cafe, in our backyard. Their new home in Summit Park, Blue Ash, is bigger and better than the original. The freshest food locally sourced, extensive menu options and tables overlooking gorgeous Summit Park! Five "Yums!"

The atmosphere is lively and upscale, with a lot more light and character than the original. The sweet potato ravioli has changed somewhat, which was the reason for 4 starts for food instead of five, but next visit we'll be expecting that (and there will be a next visit!). Our entree also came out before our salads, but the server handled it perfectly, so no big deal.

First trip to the new location and I loved it. Décor was eclectic but comfortable. Can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can enjoy the patio. Good move! Great food and service. And the menu had a bit of everything on it!

Once I was seated, the entire experience was quite enjoyable. The time to get seated and the direction @ the desk was a bit 'awkward'. The hostess had people waiting and she answered the phone and helped the person on the phone. I would think she would have answered the phone and asked them to 'hold, please', since the folks waiting were there first.

The limited menu is a bit much, but since they have added a go-to burger, it is doable.

My boss comes to your establishment quite often. This was my second experience dining with you and I was not impressed. Immediately when we arrived there seemed to be some issues happening at the host station. I patiently waited 5 minutes for any one of the three people standing there to make eye contact. Once I gave her my reservation information I was asked an additional 2 times for it by the others standing at the desk. Once we were finally seated, in the worst booth possible, next to the drink station and the kitchen (surprising that this is the seating you get with a reservation) we kindly asked for a new table since the infant carrier we had did not fit in the booth. We were immediately met with frustration and rude comments from management. I’ve honestly never seen this before from management at a restaurant where customer service should be your main priority. Thankfully our server was absolutely amazing and made up for my initial experience. I can honestly say I will think twice before going there again.

First time there for my husband and I. Emily was our server and she was friendly and knowledgeable. I had the House glass of red wine and wasn’t to thrilled with it and she suggested a different red blend that was incredible. We ordered the charcuterie tray to start, my husband got the ribeye, I got the filet and egg, everything was cooked perfect. The flavor was amazing. The food came out in great time. Everyone was attentive. We will definitely be back.

The service was great, very attentive and fast.
Unfortunately the steak was rare although we ordered medium and the meat pizza quickly became soggy served on a china dinner plate.
We were not charged for these two items but not offered any complimentary desserts or coffees either.
Generally so good, this meal was disappointing.

Atmosphere is always great. My friend got a soup and petite salad. It was so small, looked like it was in a condiment cup. Then, she was charged $6 for it!! The waitress thought it was an undercharge. They had to fix the price on their new, annoying iPad charge systems that you must put in tip AT THE table with waitress standing over you. This is something new. I don't like it. We've been eating here since the old location...for years! They have also gotten rid of their best dessert, gluten free cheesecake. We can't eat anything not gf, so we were super sad to hear they are not making it in house anymore. Pizza is fantastic, as long as it is not rushed. Sometimes, when they are busy, they take it out prematurely. GF dough is not good if not done enough.

We have been here a number of times and always enjoy the food, service, and atmosphere. They have burgers and great entrees for the foodies. The coffee crusted wild boar was fantastic!

We have two or three restaurants that are on our go-to list and this is one of them.

We came to eat at Brown Dog on Tuesday. I made a reservation for four when I meant to make it for five. The manager and bartender were so accommodating. They first put us at high tops because we couldn't fit in a booth. When they saw that my aunt was walking with a cane, she has MS, they moved things all around. They took away the high tables, move a booth table to the front area and brought chairs in from outside. It was extremely accommodating, especially when we screwed up. I don't think I have seen a restaurant go that above and beyond. Not only that but the food was amazing. I am vegan and my mom and aunt are gluten free. We all found food we could eat and my foodie husband was excited with all the unique options. He had the rabbit pot pie. Again, thank you so much to Brown Dog and for the manager that helped us and the bartender that served us. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends.
