Good food - burgers were a little expensive service was excellent
Great place and the drinks are fabulous!
we have been going to Brown Dog when they were back in the strip mall. They continue to be exceptional and we love visiting
Great food! Great service!
Sadly, what was once a favorite restaurant when I traveled to Cincinnati has become nothing special, lacking in every way. My beet risotto was a reddish blob of pasty goo, and topped with unimaginative mahi mahi that was barely lukewarm.
Seating with a reservation was very quick. Server was VERY good .... friendly, helpful & efficient.
Actually, four of our seven had burgers which are HUGE and very tasty.
Note: be sure to ask for meats to be "medium well", otherwise it may be only warm and rare.
We will be back!
Great place for a business lunch! Quick service. Great menu.
Service was really really slow. It was a Friday night and it didn't seem like they had enough waiters. Or maybe our waitress forgot we were her table? She was a very nice waitress but when someone would ask for a drink, we didn't see here again for 15 mins.
Great Lunch and service from Sam could not have been any better!! We will be back.
Great food, service. Salmon cooked perfectly.
Good time at the Brown Dog. Great food. Great service. The crab cake appetizer was amazing and the fish special was fantastic! Fresh, unusual dishes!!
My mother and I enjoyed pizza week! The food was great and the service was excellent!
When we arrived there was no one at the hostess stand, and y’all weren’t busy. When he finally came around he barely greeted us and brought us to the table and said nothing. Our server did come up right away however he didn’t know his menu. That’s bad for a server and especially because this was our first time there. The menu said that Sunday brunch ended at 2 however our server said it was an all day menu and that it was the only menu. I would not consider your brunch menu and all day menu!! The crappy pattie was black!! The breakfast sandwich was tasteless! Both sandwiches were very disappointing! We told our server and he just looked at us and asked if we wanted the check! We asked for an order of your sourdough bread and instead of them toasting it and putting it on a plate they put it on the flat grill and you could taste everything that had been cooked on the flat grill and it was extremely greasy. We then asked for some jam and to my surprise with all the notations online and on your menu about things being made from scratch and locally sourced, he brought us Smuckers jelly....what?????
Was so excited to eat at this restaurant and left extremely disappointed!! The server needs to be re-trained and quizzed on the menu. A server should never say “I don’t know what that is” and just stand there and look at tou. Never offered to go ask what it is!
Excellent chocolate martinis
Portions a tad small but overall excellent food
The food was spectacular. We were so happy to discover it.
Waitress was excellent. We informed her we were dining casually & not in a hurry. She was very accommodating & not rushing us.
Food was good. Had truffle fries as appetizer. Mediterranean pizza with a good bottle of chianti wine. Fantastic key lime pie as dessert.
Best omelet I have had.
This restaurant experience was okay, but not great. The food was good, but not great. The service was okay, but we started the evening with a glass of water spilled all over the table by the wait staff. The bill was high for the quality of the exoerience. All in all, it was a mostly forgettable experience.
Serice was poor. Dinner took way to long and had to keep asking the waitress the same thing over and over. Did not like how the buffalo wings were presented (the wings were all one piece) making them difficult and messy to eat. The lamb chops were disappointing. The bar and atmosphere is nice but would not recommend for dinner. The hamburgers looked good. Maybe they should stick to burgers. We will not be back.
I made reservations on Open table and I dictated it was a birthday and added a note about the name of the birthday girl. Our table was ready on time but after that, our service wasn’t great! He took forever to get our drinks. We ordered an app that was brought with the meal. We ordered extra veggies with the hummus plate but didn’t get them. Our food was good, and warm. The birthday was never acknowledged, and based on how long everything else took, we didn’t bother to mention it again bc we didn’t want to be stuck there any longer! Food was good, but doubtful we will return
Tried the restaurant week 3 course special. Slider appetizer was good. Caesar salad with bacon and tomato was good. Entree of Carribean grouper was not. Too many competing flavors especially the sweetpotato mush. Ordered the dessert. The carrot cake was not served as a cake and for our taste had too much shredded coconut.
Good location, good food, excellent waiters.
Everyone in our party really enjoyed the food. Service was better than usual and food didn’t take too long to come out, so things are looking up for the Brown Dog. Also, we really appreciate the gluten free options for the celiacs in our family.
Fantastic meal and service ! The cheeseburger, fries and milkshake were perfect and our server Bo was charming and accurate! We will be back soon!
The food was amazing with subpar service. Wonderful atmosphere!
Fun atmosphere, good food, took my cousin (who was visiting from out of town) for lunch and she really enjoyed it. It was easy to converse as it was not overly crowded at 1:15. I've been there previously and eaten outside which is always fun and the fact you can bring your dog to the outside seating area during the warmer months is a plus and they always make sure there's water for your pup. Bathrooms are also very clean and modern.
We were there on a Thursday night with the outdoor concert going on and a noisy table near us so it was loud. The food was good and so was the service. Interesting menu.
I am continually unimpressed with BDC. I have a service dog which they seem to never understand how to treat. They attempt to force me outdoors every time or have attempted to turn me away if the patio is closed. Additionally, I requested a substitution to my meal this time and they just didn't do it. I asked about it and the server said they don't do substitutions but he didn't mention that when I ordered or I would have simply added a side.
Awesome food and atmosphere! Highly recommend.
Front desk/hostess lazy
The food is excellent, but the service is poor. The pre-dinner cocktail arrived after the main course. The check arrived long after the dinner was cleared.
It took a long time to get our order
Great outside seating. Good cocktails and craft beer selection. Definitely recommend
Love dining outside. Great variety of food choices. Food well prepared. Overall great experience!
Joe was our Server and did a nice job.
They had a 3 course offering and it needed to be explained better. The quinoa bowl was very tasty and huge!
I had the poutine bowl and it was very tasty and different.
Would recommend if looking for a hearty comfort dish . The charcuterie board was ok-- have had better at other Restaurants! Like The Red Feather and Postmark, which is no longer.
Menu is huge with many options. I plan to return and try other dishes !
We must have ordered the wrong food as it was not hot or the quality we were expecting
Great food in a very nice location. We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful late summer evening. The duck breast was outstanding.
Visually great restaurant with tall contemporary spaces and excellent food that emphasizes locally grown produce. My only negative was that there was not quite enough help on hand to keep drinks, food and bill arriving in a timely manner during Sunday brunch. I would also suggest finding a way to alleviate the congestion at the host stand. I look forward to going back.
Excellent brunch enjoyed the patio.
Good burgers and fries, but our starters underwhelmed. Server was very nice but slow. Overall we enjoyed it.
